The Cloister of the Nuns is a bed and breakfast built from an old convent restored in the thirteenth century. Rooms of various types with private bathrooms characterize the structure, as well as the wonderful cloister accessible to guests from breakfast to relaxing afternoons and aperitifs at sunset, and the large and bright frescoed room with the fourteenth-century cenacle. Just over 1km from the historic scepter of Volterra, it is the ideal base for a holiday in the heart of Tuscany!

The space
It is an ancient Franciscan convent built together with the adjacent Church of San Girolamo in 1445. Restored in 2008 and then in 2019 with private rooms of various types with private bathroom, TV, hairdryer, wi-fi service. A beautiful inner cloister will be at your disposal to read, relax and have a good coffee ! Ideal for families, study holidays, tourism, business trips and groups, thanks to the proximity to the historic center and free parking on site. The Chiostro restaurant is also open every day with traditional Tuscan dishes. You can also organize your most beautiful events and host your relatives and friends all under the same roof !!!

What is most striking to our visitors is the presence of quiet and relaxing places, such as the two inner cloisters and the room with the fresco of the Upper Room.

We are just a few kilometers from the most beautiful Tuscan art cities and only 20 minutes walk from one of the most beautiful Etruscan towns in central Italy.
The sea is only 45 kilometers away, but guests have access to a beautiful swimming pool in our campsite just 2 kilometers from us.
We also offer the possibility of refreshing you at the end of the day in our Restaurant with internal room and external cloister, where you will find typical menus of the Tuscan tradition, to allow you to immerse yourself totally in our daily life.
