Minor improvements could be made to make the experience a true 5*. An extra toilet roll/bin bags. The Information Book could have more detail Ie. how to turn on and off the outdoor lights (to stop attracting the bugs - couldn’t open the door to living area after dark), the pool lights, walks in the area, local recommendations, maybe pool cleaned once during our stay (we’d have loved a net to rescue the bugs), BBQ clean. We tried to dry out the cushions by the pool but as the seating area was never in the sun we couldn’t use it. In our increasingly cashless society it was an inconvenience to arrive with €600 deposit. A toaster would be good. As I said, minor improvements and already we are missing Rivoltino Di Sopra, wish we’d booked longer and where we made some lovely family memories. "

The villa is on one floor, accessible from the upper terrace through a porch. GROUND FLOOR — Open space living area with kitchenette, dining area and sitting area; a corridor leads to a double bedroom with en suite bathroom with shower, to a twin bedroom with joinable beds and to a second bathroom with shower.
Park:
The villa is surrounded by 1800 square meters of well-kept garden, planted with shrubs and flowering plants. The rectangular pool measures 10 x 5 m with a depth varying from 1.20 to 1.60 m; it is covered in PVC, equipped with a chlorine purification system, an internal staircase for access and a cold water shower. The ceramic-tiled solarium is equipped with sun loungers, deckchairs and umbrellas. The pool is open from the last Saturday in April to the first Saturday in October.

It is an infinity pool. The area is equipped with a sun umbrella, sun loungers and an external shower. From the swimming pool you will enjoy a spectacular view of the valley. The pool is open from mid-April until the end of October.
Patio
The patio is 80 square meters (860 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by a roof. It is equipped with tables, chairs and a sun lounger. Here you will also find a barbecue. From the patio you will enjoy a spellbinding view of the greenery and of the swimming pool.

Podere Fornacchia is spread over an area of about 400 sq m and is composed of a central building plus an adjacent annex located about 10 m away. MAIN HOUSE. This has two floors plus an attic. On the ground floor is the living area, consisting of a large living room with a sitting area around the fireplace and a dining area with table, well connected to the kitchen with direct access out to the portico which is set up for dining. This floor is completed by a guest bathroom. The first floor (reachable also via an external staircase) includes an additional kitchen and the sleeping area, composed of five double bedrooms (three with divisible bed) served by three bathrooms with shower (NB one of the bedrooms can be accessed from another bedroom but can also be directly accessed, for privacy reasons, via the external staircase that connects the two floors). The last bedroom is located in the attic and is served by a bathroom with shower; it can be reached directly, up a flight of stairs, from one of the first floor bedrooms. ANNEX. Is lined in PVC with a stone border and has Roman steps for access to the water. In the extensive lawn area surrounding it are umbrellas, tables, sunbeds and two cold-water showers. There is a stone barbecue for the guests' use and a parking area just past the entrance gate, at the back of the property.

THE SWIMMING POOL
The beautiful newly-built infinity pool is set on the lower terrace of the garden, looking out over an open scenic landscape. About 15 m from the house, it is reached via a paved path across the lawn and then down one of the two flights of steps set on both sides of the area. The pool, lined in PVC and equipped with three large internal steps for access to the water, measures 7 x 12 m with the depth ranging from 1.10 to 1.80 m. All around is the stone-paved sunbathing area with umbrellas and comfortable sunbeds for relaxing in the sun while on one side is a cold and hot-water shower. It was very obvious that she took great pride in her home and landscaping. Stefania was attentive to our requests and went out of her way to ensure that our group was comfortable and satisfied. The location of the home is perfect if you'd like to use the home as a base to explore the region. Great wineries and restaurants are nearby, and you can certainly walk into the charming town of Volterra (it's an uphill walk to the town, but not too strenuous). Stefania set up a winery tour and a personal chef to make a few dinners for our group during our stay (8 days)...these services are an additional cost but were very reasonable. In total, there are nine bedrooms set out over the two floors. All bedrooms have air conditioning and all are furnished in a simple and elegant way and designed to make you feel relaxed and at home. Two of these bedrooms are suites, each measuring approximately 40 square metres. One of the bedrooms and bathrooms is also fully adapted for wheelchair users. All bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms with shower. Using also the daybeds at the villa, the property can sleep a maximum of 22 guests.
