We tried to dry out the cushions by the pool but as the seating area was never in the sun we couldn’t use it. In our increasingly cashless society it was an inconvenience to arrive with €600 deposit. A toaster would be good. As I said, minor improvements and already we are missing Rivoltino Di Sopra, wish we’d booked longer and where we made some lovely family memories. "

The home was clean, comfortable and our host was really friendly and always willing to offer feedback and support - he provided us firewood for the fireplace and BBQ and even brought us a pizza one day as an added treat. The location was close to Volterra and Sam Gimignano with petrol, groceries and a few nice restaurants only a few minutes away. We would highly recommend this property and are eagerly awaiting our next opportunity to return."

The views are extraordinary from the villa and the pool. We enjoyed cycling around the area as well as renting a Vespa to get us around. We will definitely return."
