- "The home was better than advertised if possible. We are a tall famiy so only issue was short showers. Otherwise we didn't know a housekeeper lived on property and helped with breakfast, laundry, and anything we asked. Portofino is beautiful. Only thing we should have done differently is to make dinner reservations in town. The Dream will start from your arrival, after a short walk through the famous square, the boutiques and yachts of Portofino, you will find the suggestive entrance through a cave, at the end of it , there is the elevator that will bring you directly to heaven.
The Villa is composed of 3 floors, offers 7 bedrooms ( 6 double, 1 single room) with air conditioning and several dining areas , with both internal and external views, where you can enjoy wonderful lunch and dinner watching the beautiful landscape of Portofino .

Car is not necessary but in case you have it, the Villa offers one private spot, which is located inside the public parking of Portofino. In case you need more spots, the costs is about € 35,00 per car per day.
Paraggi beach it is at only 3 km away so you can reach it by a nice walk of 15 minutes or by 2 bus stops.

Please note that there are some rules to ensure that the staff is able to run the household perfectly during your stay.
No parties may be held at the house.
The maximum number of guests permitted in the Villa are 10, including any 'day guests'. This is to ensure that the villa is run both safely and smoothly. Regrettably no exceptions can be made.
There is a standard rental agreement that can be pre-mailed to guests who have reserved in advance, or provided at check in. We will also require ID of all guests staying at the property as required by Italian law.

Check ins are by appointment only. Check in time is from 3PM to 8PM. We ask you for your cooperation in communicating your arrival time and updating us in case of delays. Please make sure that we have a phone number or email that you will have access to while traveling. Check ins after 8PM must be approved in advance and will be subject to an extra charge.
The Italian government has implemented a Visitor’s Tax of €2.50 per person, per day and applies to all overnight stays for the first ten days in the destination. This tax is payable to the local property manager in cash upon arrival.
The maximum number of guests that can be served at meal times is the number of guests for which the reservation was made. If you have special requests for hosting, please let us know in advance.

Camogli is famous throughout Europe as the "City of the Thousand White Sailing Ships". His extraordinary sailing tradition is in fact one of the more notable tourist attractions.

-San Fruttuoso is set in a deep bay, almost a pearl in the rugged coast of Portofino. This unique property designed by Mario Vietti at the end of the 1950' has been recently renovated with custom-made furnishings, on the first floor we find the master suite with fantastic sea view, private bathroom with shower and a small balcony where you can relax which connects to the outdoor terrace.
The ground floor of the villa welcomes you with a spacious living area with relaxation corners overlooking the sea view terrace, you will also find a kitchen for guests' use equipped with all comforts.

The corridor leading to the sleeping area recalls the atmosphere of a boat, as do the furnishings of the rooms. Villa Puddinga is equipped with 3 double bedrooms each one with amazing sea views , the fifth bedroom offers bunk beds. The bedrooms area offers two completed bathrooms and one more service bathroom.
The whole property is equipped with air conditioning and fast wifi line.
All rooms are enriched with bed linen and towels perfectly cared.

EXTERIORS
The external wall of the villa offers an amazing view of the gulf and Portofino town.
The terrace is divided into three levels, the part that connects the living room to the exteriors is decorated with colorful flowers and every corner of the terrace offers a different furniture to better enjoy every moment of the day, in fact we find a large dining area sun loungers, armchairs near the cave where we have a piano bar for parties and to taste Italian wines, as well as a very modern barbeque Big Green Egg.

The terrace above offers a shaded area and an outdoor shower.

Finally the villa offers a private dock providing space for sun loungers , we also offers snorkeling furnitures , kayak , stand up paddle.

- "Villa Puddinga overlooks the "Golfo di Portofino" , has a small private wharf where you can access the sea, and where the Puddinghino moor, a private boat for guests. The service staff is magnificent, always available and very polite, they have fulfilled every request, they have prepared for us breakfasts, lunches and dinners with delicious Italian typical food! The day we arrived they had prepared for us an happy hour with Italian appetizers, very tasty! We stayed 7 nights in the Villa , the rooms have a modest size but very cozy, the furniture is very nice , spacious bathrooms and the terrace on the sea is very pleasant both day and evening. Thanks to the advice of the manager we visited the Cinque Terre with a private tour by boat , we spent a beautiful day and visited amazing places. I will miss falling asleep and wake up in the morning with the sound of the waves and the sea. I recommend this house for those who love peace and romantic places! I hope i can come back next year and spend more days."

This unique property is located on the splendid Portofino peninsula within a 10 minute walk from Portofino\'s famous yacht harbor with its relaxed seafood restaurants and designer shops. On the way to the villa you pass by Dolce Gabbana\'s private villa. Although close to the action, the villa is protected from the crowds and offers absolute privacy. It has private access to the sea and cannot be seen from the access road. Villa Terrazza is an independent villa with a beautiful garden, 3 double bedrooms, 2 twin bedrooms; 2 single bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, living room, dining room, kitchen, large terrace, solarium and private sea access. Villa Terrazza sleeps 10. Situated on two levels, the villa has a large terrace shaded by a century-old wisteria, and a panoramic solarium. On the first level: A large living room with white sofas and sliding French windows overlooking the patio; formal dining room; kitchen (refrigerator, washing machine, dishwasher, oven); a study; two double bedrooms; one twin bedded room; one single room; and 2 bathrooms (one with tub and the other with shower). Downstairs: 2 en suite twin bedrooms (can be made into queen size beds) and laundry. Outside: There are several lovely overlooks on the way down (approx. 112 steps) to the sea and the rock swimming platform. Please be aware that only the upper floor rooms are heated and that only 8 guests can be accommodated in the winter months. There is a 10% discount if the number of guests is 6 or fewer.

A private elevator connects the harbour with the pedestrian road that runs to the lighthouse. Along this road are located the most exclusive villas. Villa Terrazza is about 300 meters from the elevator. The food shops in Santa Margherita can deliver to the villa (there is a service charge). From the villa to the private rock swimming platform there are about 180 steps. From the platform, it is possible to sunbathe and swim in the blue sea.
Due to the different levels and number of steps we do not recommend the property to people with walking difficulties.
We do also discourage people in come with car since no parking is available at the property however there is a garage in town.

It consists in a “brought-in“ dinner that is left to be re-heated by the client. No service is provided. The menu can fit vegetarian guests too. No changes are possible for the first night dinner.

The villa sits in a stunning position on the Portofino peninsula with just a few other properties sharing this majestic protected natural area. Sweeping sea views and direct access to the sea via a private swimming platform add to the sense of being totally away from it all.

If arriving by car, please note that parking is available in a public car park (charges apply) at the start of Portofino, around 1-1.5km away from the villa. From the car park you must walk through Portofino centre as far as a tunnel and lift (around 500m away) which will then take you up to the promontory, then it is a further 700m to the villa. If arriving with luggage, the house porter can meet you at the lift to assist you for the final 700m (this should be arranged in advance and for an extra cost).

Castello Brown, the imposing 16th-century fortress and museum is just a few minutes' walk from Villa Basilico, with Portofino's famous lighthouse less than 10 minutes away. And in around 15 minutes you can walk to the centre of Portofino, with its iconic harbour and pastel-coloured buildings. You can also take advantage of the lift (700m away) that brings you to the pathway that leads right into town.

The picturesque piazza is the main hub of the town, with yachts moored in the harbour and a great choice of restaurants and designer shops. You can be as active or relaxed as you want in Portofino. Enjoy hiking through unspoilt landscapes and swims in the sea - or simply pass leisurely afternoons with coffee in the piazza. The nearest sandy beach is found at Paraggi (3km).

Take the bus from Portofino to the nearby town of Santa Margherita Ligure (5km) in around 15 minutes, or enjoy a ferry ride there in about the same time. In Santa Margherita Ligure you can catch the train to the gorgeous coastal Cinque Terre villages, with the sandy beach at Monterosso al Mare just under an hour away.

The port city of Genoa (35km) is around 40 minutes away by train from Santa Margherita Ligure. It's full of historic architecture, with Cattedrale di San Lorenzo and the Renaissance-era street Via Garibaldi being particularly impressive highlights.

End of stay cleaning included?
Included in the €300 utility fee paid in cash on arrival. The fee also includes 3 hours of maid service per day, excluding Wednesdays. Please note guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Any extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or rubbish disposal required will be charged against the security deposit.

Extra cost to be paid locally and based on consumption. Please note a utility fee of €300 has to be paid in cash upon arrival.

Yes, changed weekly. Additional mid-week change is available at an extra cost of €20 per set per person, payable locally.

The villa is only accessible by foot (and lift) and car parking (charges apply) is found at the start of Portofino, around 1-1.5km away. Please see the "Location" tab for further details. This villa is not suitable for guests with walking difficulties.
