Barbara gave us advices were to find the nearest supermarkets and other places. The house is equipped with a gas-stove and bialettis for coffee, a big fridge and even a freezer. The bed sheets are thin linen as normal for Italy, but there are some cuddly extra bed spreads if needed. The TV even offers Netflix access if you have an account. Wifi works perfectly fine. We would definitly recommend it!"

- "Villa Clara is a stunning property, even better than the photos suggest, set amongst other beautiful properties, built into the terraced hillside. Amazing and extensive outdoor space, wonderful views of the marina, the town and the hills beyond. Beautiful interior with a white and blue theme. Very well equipped kitchen with a second fridge and freezer outside but under cover in the utility area. Large and spacious throughout for a larger party yet still homely and intimate for our party of 7. Very steep steps into town (with numerous restaurants, a carrefour and a co-op) dropping about 240ft, but only taking about 6 minutes but certainly kept us fit while we were there. We BBQd several times, had a private chef one evening. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking, lovely crockery, table cloths etc. The town is a great base, plenty to do and so easy to visit Portofino (€6 each way by boat, €3 each way by bus, €50 by taxi - ouch! ) Camogli (€4 return and 5 mins by train) and just over an hour by boat to the first of the Cinque Terre. The chap looking after the property lives very close by, friendly and helpful (we used Google translate!) although we didn’t have any issues with anything it was good to know he was there. Highly recommended. It was a pleasure and a privilege to stay there."

The cottage enjoys a beautiful view of the swimming pool and the gulf and is equipped with air conditioning.
The weekly rental fee for the pool cottage varies from €750.00 to €1,490.00 (+ €100.00 cleaning fee).

On arrival guests have to pay the TAX of € 2.50 / night / person over 14, due up to the tenth night of stay.
Since Villa dei Limoni is a house for rent and not a b&b, in compliance with the Italian law on tourist rentals, services such as extra cleaning, linen change cannot be performed during the stay (a set of linen is provided including sheets and towels bath per person per week), nor can consumables such as food or other goods be provided which guests are responsible for purchasing.

- "We had a very pleasant stay at Villa dei Limoni. The grounds of the property were beautiful and well maintained. The pool was especially enjoyable--clean, comfortable temperature, great view. There were also several nice areas for outdoor dining and lounging. As a large party (6 adults, 3 children), we appreciated the layout of the sleeping areas and the ample bedrooms and bathrooms--no one felt like they got the short straw on their room. The bedrooms were comfortable and clean. There are countryside noises at night (roosters, dogs, insects), but the windows are well soundproofed if you want to close them. The plumbing and electricity are pretty rustic, but this seems common for these old, rural villas. The town of Camogli is very charming to visit. The walk down to town is quite do-able and scenic (if you take the footpath, not the main road), but the return trip is definitely a workout. The property manager, Fiammetta, was wonderful--helpful and quick to respond to messages. She recommended a fantastic caterer that helped us to create a very special evening celebrating my parents' anniversary. Overall, we had a very nice experience at this beautiful villa!"

- "The home was better than advertised if possible. We are a tall famiy so only issue was short showers. Otherwise we didn't know a housekeeper lived on property and helped with breakfast, laundry, and anything we asked. Portofino is beautiful. Only thing we should have done differently is to make dinner reservations in town.
