A short walk to the action but also quiet and private. We ate out and travelled the area a lot, but also enjoyed some down time and home cooked meals in the apartment. This studio has everything you need for a longer stay (a well equipped kitchen, washing machine etc), is tastefully decorated and comfortable (has heating and A/C). It is a top floor apartment that has a small balcony and good ventilation. Our hosts were so accommodating they even let us use their garage to store the bicycles we brought with us. In fact, hospitality is their specialty. When Emanuela heard we were arriving by train she and her partner offered to pick us up. Both us and our bikes got a door-to-door chauffeur service both arriving to and leaving from the property. Amazing! - "The apartment is spacious and comfortable, luxurious even, and tasteful. Airco in every room, plenty of daylight, great kitchen and bathroom. All appliances in good order and easy to use. The view is 24/7 entertainment, with the lovely & lively harbour right at your feet. Plenty of choice from nice restaurants. Frequented mostly by locals and Italian visitors, Nervi is not as posh or touristic as Portofino etc. so that's a plus. And the acces to train, boat and beach is brilliant. So we could very much live with the few minor downsides: no parking spot near the house; noise from trains (back) and terraces (front) when windows are open; the canal down the street can be smelly; steep stairs (but compared to Amsterdam houses the stairs are perfectly fine..). Riccardo is the most gracious host who speaks English perfectly and goes out of his way to help with luggage and with tips and advice. In short: highly recommended!"

It is about 60 squared meters, with one bedroom, a living room, a separate kitchen and a bathroom. All comforts are included: air conditioning, internet, television, stereo etc. The beach is only 50m away, and so are all the tiny restaurants and shops of the town. I love this romantic little house very much: it is where my children were conceived, so I am only prepared to rent it to very serious people. Ideal for couples wishing to spend a romantic time and exploring the environs.

Then there is Camogli itself, which is a beautifully situated jewel on the Ligurian coast. The town bustles with tourists but is not over-run. One can relax and stroll about without a sense of crowding. There are excellent restaurants (“Sa” was our favourite). The views from every vantage point are breathtaking, and none better than out the windows of this flat. The only drawback we can see is that there are some formidable stairs to climb to reach the flat. We are 65+, though, and managed to get up and down with our (somewhat excessive) luggage without a problem. We would go back and do it all again in a heartbeat. Thank you, Consuelo!"
