A short walk to the action but also quiet and private. We ate out and travelled the area a lot, but also enjoyed some down time and home cooked meals in the apartment. This studio has everything you need for a longer stay (a well equipped kitchen, washing machine etc), is tastefully decorated and comfortable (has heating and A/C). It is a top floor apartment that has a small balcony and good ventilation. Our hosts were so accommodating they even let us use their garage to store the bicycles we brought with us. In fact, hospitality is their specialty. When Emanuela heard we were arriving by train she and her partner offered to pick us up. Both us and our bikes got a door-to-door chauffeur service both arriving to and leaving from the property. Amazing! - "The apartment is spacious and comfortable, luxurious even, and tasteful. Airco in every room, plenty of daylight, great kitchen and bathroom. All appliances in good order and easy to use. The view is 24/7 entertainment, with the lovely & lively harbour right at your feet. Plenty of choice from nice restaurants. Frequented mostly by locals and Italian visitors, Nervi is not as posh or touristic as Portofino etc. so that's a plus. And the acces to train, boat and beach is brilliant. So we could very much live with the few minor downsides: no parking spot near the house; noise from trains (back) and terraces (front) when windows are open; the canal down the street can be smelly; steep stairs (but compared to Amsterdam houses the stairs are perfectly fine..). Riccardo is the most gracious host who speaks English perfectly and goes out of his way to help with luggage and with tips and advice. In short: highly recommended!"

It is about 60 squared meters, with one bedroom, a living room, a separate kitchen and a bathroom. All comforts are included: air conditioning, internet, television, stereo etc. The beach is only 50m away, and so are all the tiny restaurants and shops of the town. I love this romantic little house very much: it is where my children were conceived, so I am only prepared to rent it to very serious people. Ideal for couples wishing to spend a romantic time and exploring the environs.

Then there is Camogli itself, which is a beautifully situated jewel on the Ligurian coast. The town bustles with tourists but is not over-run. One can relax and stroll about without a sense of crowding. There are excellent restaurants (“Sa” was our favourite). The views from every vantage point are breathtaking, and none better than out the windows of this flat. The only drawback we can see is that there are some formidable stairs to climb to reach the flat. We are 65+, though, and managed to get up and down with our (somewhat excessive) luggage without a problem. We would go back and do it all again in a heartbeat. Thank you, Consuelo!"

Our older teenage son loved the privacy of his own area upstairs. Our hosts were very welcoming and helpful. We were lucky enough to be there during the festival for the local saint San Lorenzo which added to our enjoyment. There is a fairly steep walk down/up to the property from the road which won't suit some people but as long as you are reasonably mobile you will be ok. The road the property is off seems at first to be intimidatingly narrow, however even though we had a larger vehicle it worked out fine. Local people were used to and good at ducking in an out of the passing spaces and with a bit of patience everything was pretty easy. Great value for money and would very happily stay there again."

At the same time, it is right in the heart of the cosy pedestrian streets of Sestri Levante. The apartment was spotlessly clean and has a nice florplan to our family's need. Giovanna was extremely helpful, meeting us at the freeway to show us the way to the apartment (which can be a bit tricky on your own), and also helping us find a free parking spot nearby, as well as providing a bit of basic amenities for us upon arrival. Her english is limited, but it wasn't a problem at all. The beach was perfect for kids, water clear and even in late september still pleasantly warm for swimming. The beach wasn't overly crowded as we were there a bit off season. We would love to come back, as Sestri Levante and the area around has much to offer and the apartment is perfect place to base yourself, whether you wan't to relax on the beach or explore the region. Maybe next time, we'll go without kids, and have more time to enjoy sitting in the beach chairs on the apartments private roof terrace."

She was waiting for us outside the building, helped us with our several suitcases and bags and led us to the lovely 20th floor apartment in one of Genoa's original skyscrapers ("i grattacieli"). The apartment was large (for a one-room studio), spotlessly clean (including the towels and bed-linens), well-designed, well-equipped and comfortable. Flat and fizzy water, as well as capsules for the coffee maker, biscotti for breakfast or a snack, plenty of towels, pillows, liquid soap and shampoo were all at our disposal. The air conditioning worked perfectly; it kept the apartment cool, but not refrigerated. The apartment is wonderfully located on the Piazza Dante, a few steps from the Piazza De Ferrari and the Porta Soprana. Another few steps and you find yourself at the Cathedral of San Lorenzo, the Strada Nuova (now named Via Garibaldi), the port of Genoa... If I were to allow myself one criticism, it is the lack of drawer and/or shelf space. This is a criticism that I have of most hotels and apartments that I visit. I do NOT "travel light" and I like to unpack. The only differences between Andreea's apartment and a four or five star hotel are: (1) there is no daily maid service and (2) there IS a hostess who is always available on WhatsApp or by telephone, who cares about her guests. If you pass the shops and keep walking straight, after 50 mt you will find yourself on the beautiful promenade by the sea, one of the most beautiful of the Riviera, with its historic buildings, restaurants and bars. In the middle of the promenade, it is possible to find the pier with ferries that can take you directly to Santa Margherita Ligure, Portofino, San Fruttuoso, Camogli, Cinque Terre, Portovenere, and Genova (Acquarium). If you walk until the end of the promenade you will reach the characteristic castle dating back to the 16° Century where art exhibitions are always organized. On both sides of the promenade there are private and public beaches with bars and restaurants, whereas if you turn right when you leave the apartment you can walk to the train and bus station for any other destination.

The apartment consists of an entrance hall, bedroom, bathroom, living room with a double sofa bed, and a dining area with kitchen. There is a balcony running along the entire apartment, currently with scaffolding but still usable. Facade renovation is scheduled for 2025, and construction work may cause noise between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM

The space
You will find an entry room and on your left a bedroom with Kings size bed and spacious cupboard with a big window facing on the small terrace, a bathroom with its shower and washing machine and a living room with a sopha-double bed, a kitchen area and a dining room area. And the tv. Both the bedroom and living room face on the small terrace where you can also sit and relax.
In the kitchen there is the dishwasher, the oven and whatever necessary to prepare and eat your meals. Wi-Fi is very good

Guest access
The check in is not completely a self check in as it must be agreed upon before with the person in charge for local issues. After 8.00 pm check in is not guaranteed. Specific details will be provided upon request.

The guests can have, upon appropriate request, a wi-fi. There is an open air private free parking but the availability of a place is not always guaranteed, depending on the quantity of requests.

Other things to note
The house is always warm in winter and cool in summertime (though there is no air conditionning). At your arrival you will be requested to sign a "CONTRATTO DI LOCAZIONE" where what has been agreed hereby is summarised and integrated by further elements, in accordance with Italian Civil law. In addition, your document could be requested, as well as "Tassa di soggiorno", if applicable. You will be provided of further information locally.
