It’s a gorgeous home and property in a peaceful, natural setting. We enjoyed watching deer in the morning and hearing all of the birdsong including a cuckoo calling every dusk. The view over Lago Maggiore is ever-changing and we left the drapes open at night to fall asleep to lights twinkling across the lakeside villages far below. The drive up from town is winding and sometimes narrow and the driveway is a bit steep, but there’s nothing to worry about after you’ve done it once or twice.
