The stairs are typical of those in Cinque Terre; sometimes narrow/short in depth, sometimes uneven, differing rises to the steps. People with mobility issues could have problems navigating these stairs, especially when carrying suitcases. We had a very enjoyable stay at this villa and would stay here again!"

It can easily be reached from the main square, taking Via Guidoni, next to Burgus Bar, and then walking up along this back street (50 mt. and about 20 steps in total). The entrance to the building is through a cute and hidden passage, typical of the village, then from front door, just a few steps and the green main door of the apartment takes you this welcoming apartment. The apartment has access also from the promenade on the harbour (but consider there are more steps from thisfront door).

An ideal studio for a couple or for a family of 3. It has a double bed, a small folding bed, kitchen and bathroom and a balcony with spectacular sea view. It also has a private garden, outside the building, one floor below.. The apartment is easily accessible from the center, bars and restaurants, grocery stores and the train station. The apartment is about 40 sq. mt. plus the outside patio, the small upstairs terrace and a 20 sq. mt. garden.

The rental sleeps up to five people and has a charming terrace (the best place for al fresco dining and serious relaxation in the sun) overlooking the sea with distant views of the Riviera.

Our friend Gabriel, who lives in Corniglia, will help you in every possible way during your stay. He can advise you on which is the best restaurant in town, the nicest beach or the most wonderful hike. He speaks some English, French and German…

It is our great pleasure to be able to share this house with you, as it has been in our family since the 1930s. This home has brought us so much joy and we hope that it brings you much of the same joy, but also rest, relaxation and a home away from home.

We are located strategically in a very peaceful area, sheltered from the noise and confusion of the village, yet only a stone's throw away from shops and restaurants.

The space
We can book (if available, not guaranteed) a private parking space in the building's private yard.
Price is 20€ x day (same as along the road).

Starting January 2025 we need to collect 3€ x person per day as city tax. Tax must be paid cash on arrival.

The house is new. The whole building has been renovated and is an historical site in the heart of the National Park.

The space
This cosy studio/one-room apartment has a very central location, just ideal to let our guests appreciate the true life of our small town. The view over the typical colourful houses, the Church in gothic-ligurian style and the surrounding Hills makes it perfect to enjoy the local atmosphere, quiet and lively at the same time.
The unit is simple but wide and comfortable. Besides, it is fully equipped with a four-burners (cookers) kitchenette, oven, fridge, full crockery and electric kettle.
All linen (sheets, towels, table cloth etc.) is provided and, for weekly reservations, a midstay cleaning is included. Bathroom with bath tub (+hook&sprayer to be used as a shower) is equipped with hairdryer and all basic toiletries.
WASHING MACHINE is NOT IN THE UNIT, but in the BUILDING and LAUNDRY is not self-service (as pointed out in the house rules).
For younger than four years children we can also provided baby-cots.

How to find us

You’ll find us in Via Fieschi 119. From the main square follow the direction to the town center. In Via Fieschi 119 you’ll find a little craft shop on the left hand side where I’ll be waiting for you..

Arrival by train:
The railway station is 1 km from the village. It takes about 15 minutes to walk either taking the road or the stairs. Alternatively take the shuttle bus which runs from 7am to 9pm every 20 min from the station to Corniglia’s main square.

Arrival by car:
Once in Corniglia, parking is permitted within the blue lines. Parking tickets can be purchased at the meters alongside the road. Free parking is within the white lines and can mainly be found in the beginning of town.
Parking within the yellow lines is for residents only.

Smoking is not permitted in the house.
The accommodation tax of €3 per night per person is to be paid upon arrival.
