Renovated now in March 2022, the studio "LA CASETTA", is located a stone's throw from the sea in the heart of Marina di Carrara , half anhour from the famous white marble quarries, in the area of the Apuan Alps. "La stanzetta" is a small accommodation, which consists of a single room, with an independent entrance to the mezzanine floor of an ancient three-story building near the historic center, halfway between the beaches of Marina di Carrara and the Apuan Alps with the suggestive marble quarries.
It has ample space for free parking nearby and is complete with a bathroom with shower, kitchenette, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, TV, Wi-Fi, dishes, bed linen and bathroom.

The space
The accommodation consists of a small entrance that leads to the bathroom (on the left), the actual room (on the right) and a small terrace.
In the room there is a kitchenette (stove, sink, refrigerator, dishes...), a small table and a sofa bed.
The sofa becomes a single bed by simply removing the cushions and the sofa cover under which the bed is ready (sheets and blankets).
The second bed, below the sofa, is easily pulled out and thanks to the springs, which the feet are equipped with, becomes as high as the other bed.

Guest access
The room is at guests' complete disposal and has no common areas.

Our apartment is located in the historic center of Carrara, a 1-minute walk from the cathedral. It is located on an ancient gate of historical interest called Porta del Bozo, which in the past delimited the ancient city walls. In renovating our apartment, we took care to enhance the original materials of the property such as marble, stone, terracotta and wood which together with the works of local artists create a warm and relaxing atmosphere.

For special occasions, if you let us know a few days in advance (for example Valentine's Day or your birthday) we will decorate the room for free
