We even had a rental car since we were touring all over the area--we parked in the public garage which is like 1 block from the house, it allows 24-hour parking. that garage is up a hill from the house, and, the stairs at the house are very steep, but Cinque Terre in general is mountainous and there are tons of steep steps everywhere. For me, it's great, I love getting my exercise, especially after all the pasta and wine I have in Italy! Highly recommend this beautiful house!!!"

In the heart of Monterosso the apartment is ideally located: very near to the main square of the village, to the beach, to the food store and any kind of shops. It is easily accessible: the parking is at about 100 metres and it is situated at the 1st floor, so just a few stairs. It is very clear and the windows overlook the two main streets of the village. Inside it is quite confortable and fully equipped

- "Francesca is a wonderful host. We arrived later than expected and she was gracious and accommodating about it and made a special trip over when we had a small issue. The apartment was perfectly laid out so our teens had privacy in their own room (and heavy duty windows and shutters to keep the sun and the sounds of people enjoying their holidays out.) Yes, there is street noise which others have mentioned but it it didn’t bother us at all and it was worth it to be smack in the middle of the fun and action and be able to smell the delicious pastries being made in the bakery below. We started every morning with cappuccinos and pastries just down from the apartment (paticerie Laura I think it was) and has pizza a couple of times from the pizzeria just steps up from the apartment. Both highly recommended and reasonably priced. The apartment was clean, functional (we cooked a couple of meals and had everything we needed to do so), had a portable air conditioning unit which was much appreciated and in a great location. We absolutely loved our stay here ! Monterosso is a perfect location to explore the Cinque Terre and hike and enjoy the beach. Thank you Francesca for a memorable few days!"
