The apartment is situaded in La Morra’s centre at the hightest point of the first village of Barolo Region. It borders with the San Rocco Church which was built in the 18th century.
You’ll find the property in the historical centre, directly opposite the town hall and the impressive Barocca church dedicated to San Martin (the patron saint of the village).
The famous CANTINA COMUNALE (see photo), the Gallo Wine Gallery, and the Barolo’s wine Cellar are just a short walk from the residence.
Amoung its shelves is a grand choise of bottles of local wines, or otherwise you may choose to wandel through Bastioni with its beautiful views of surronding vineyards facing your residence.
And for those wishing to stay in the centre of town, a short stroll away you’ll find shop, restaurants, pubs and vineyards and the “Seven paths to Barolo” that you’ll find between the vineyards.

La Mansarda is a cozy apartment in Alba, the capital of the become Langhe
recently UNESCO World Heritage Site together with Roero and Monferrato.
The apartment is on the third floor with a lift to the second floor. It consists of the living room (8 seats), lounge, equipped kitchenette, 3 bedrooms for 6 adults + a single bed in the 90 x 200 living room, (possibility of adding a free cot for children up to 3 years), 2 bathrooms (one with shower box- one with whirlpool tub), laundry room (washing machine, ironing board and iron), small terrace overlooking the rooftops and hills of Alba. Reserved parking space in private courtyard.
The main advantage of the apartment is certainly the location; in fact it is located in the historic center (150 meters from the main street Via V. Emanuele) with the possibility to park the car comfortably in the courtyard for the duration of the stay.
Walking through the streets you can discover restaurants, taverns, wine bars as well as museums churches.
If, on the other hand, you decide to visit the surroundings, you can admire the enchanting landscapes that the Langa offers with its hills cultivated with vineyards where excellent and fine wines are obtained which you can taste in the wine cellars in the many restaurants.

Firstly, Guarene was even better than we had anticipated - high up on a hill with the small winding streets and welcoming people. It is close to Alba, which was our favorite town to visit. The property has an amazing view of the surroundings from their beautiful garden - and the apartment, separate from the main house, was just right for the 4 of us. When we arrived, our hosts provided a basket of fresh fruit, bread, cheese and meat (as well as some wine!) for us to enjoy while we settled in. Gianni provided a tour of his art studio and the garden - and our kids loved it all! We also relied on them for recommendations for things to do and restaurants to go to - they didn't disappoint. When we had an issue with our next destination, they extended our stay with no issues. We were so lucky to have found this place in Guarene and are looking forward to going back to visit again soon!"

- "We had never previously been to Piemont, but found this property on Vrbo and it was just what we were looking for - quiet location but not too far from town. The apartment was excellent, with all facilities we needed, including air conditioning and a lovely swimming pool and gardens. The owner communicated with us before during and after our stay. Another great discovery was all the wonderful wineries some have been around for 100 years. We spent a few hours at a winery literally down the street from our place where we sampled Barolo and Barbaresco wines. I wish I could have stayed longer but for me that's the sign of a great trip.
