Villefranche is located half way betwween Nice and Monaco. Famous for its wonderfull bay, close by the Cap Ferrat peninsula.
The apartement is located in the heart of the village, one street behind the picturesque mediterranean harbor, close to the storical 'Rue Osbcure'from the 14th C where a lot of movies had been shooted, the Cocteau Chapel, and also near to the Citadel from the 16th c. which has museums inside, an open-air theater with cinema and concerts (from end of june to begining of september). The apartment is close to a lot of charming restaurants, bars, grocery stores, butcher, bakers, pharmacy, shops,diving school, boat hire and boat excursions available from the quay side. Local market on saturday & wednesday morning, and antiques market on sunday.
The apartment is 10 minutes walking distance to the famous french language institute 'Institut de Français'.

Villefranche is very close to Nice (10 minutes drive) and Monaco - Monte-Carlo (20 minutes drive). The train station and bus station are 10 minutes away walking from the apartment. (Menton/Ventimiglia) for 15 minutes through stunning scenery, alighting at the apartment. - "This is the third year we have stayed in Virginie's great apartment when we go to the Monaco Grand Prix. Facilities are excellent and the view of the bay is wonderful. It's simply perfect! Even though we had to hike up the hill each day for classes at the Institut de Francais, we found there were big advantages to staying in the Vieille Ville. There are lots of restaurants close by, it is a short walk down to the waterfront, and it is close to the train station. The views are as wonderful as they appear in the pictures and the apartment is very comfortable. The building is old, which is reflected in the old-style tile floor, but the bathroom and kitchen are recently refurbished and everything worked! We especially loved the shower! We used the kitchen a lot and it is quite well outfitted for a rental apartment. The furnishings are basic but worked well for us. You do need to realize this apartment is on the 5th (US) floor and there is no elevator. The Vieille Ville is a pedestrian only area with stairs on the little streets, so no direct access for taxis or cars, through there is a road just above this area. Getting our luggage up and down was a challenge - which we fully anticipated after reading the description - so travel lightly if you can. "

Very nice apartment located on the 2nd and last floor of the former home of Lord Salisbury. The property enjoys a very beautiful terrace with sea view. The whole is located in a park allowing to take advantage of an absolute calm.
The amenities are located about ten minutes on foot. The center of Beaulieu sur mer has a train station, a post office and all the services you can dream of.
Access to the different beaches can be done on foot (15-20 minutes on foot) or by car.
This rental is for people looking for a haven of peace and a sea view in priority.
