Lots of great shopping in Vence, but watch out-many are closed Monday and Tuesday."

We had some questions for the owner before we arrived (as the property listing was removed from the website and we had no idea about check-in process etc) and they weren't answered until we asked Home Away to help. But once we arrived everything was great - the studio was exceptionally clean, the sofa bed the comfiest I've ever slept on and the views were spectacular! The property is further out of Vence than we gathered from the listing (30 minute walk, plus more heading home as it's all uphill and steep!) but we actually quite enjoyed the walk. But just something to be aware of. Be sure you hire a small car if you come as the roads are very narrow! There was only one toilet roll, bin bag and dishwasher tablet for the week so we ended up buying more ourselves (plus a bottle opener and lighter for the BBQ) so less amenities available than we're used to at previous properties. We also had to ask for hand wash and a cloth to wipe down the kitchen. I'm not sure if this is standard but again something to be ready for if you're staying for a longer duration. We were asked on the second last day to leave a 45 euro cleaning fee but Home Away advised us all payments should be made via them and recommended we did not leave any additional cash. Overall though a nice comfortable base to spend a week! "

The space
This is a lower level of a 2004 villa. You enter directly into the living/dining room with a sofa, a television, and a table with four chairs.

The open kitchen is equipped with:
2 ceramic hobs, a microwave, a toaster, a kettle, a filter coffee maker, and a Nespresso machine. A refrigerator with a small freezer compartment.
We provide tea, ground coffee, and condiments.
A washing machine is available in the apartment, as well as a clothes horse.

The bedroom is 8m², with a 140cm bed, linens provided, a chest of drawers, and a fan.

The bathroom has a shower and toilet. Towels, shower gel, and shampoo are provided, as well as a hairdryer and toilet paper.

The terrace is equipped with a table with six chairs, a parasol, a barbecue, and an electric griddle.
No fence for pets. The entire apartment benefits from fiber Wi-Fi 6 access and an Orange TV decoder.

Easy access to the apartment, with two steps to access the shower room. Not recommended for people with reduced mobility. To reach the residence, take the town center route, as the GPS directs you to a small, difficult road. We are the second villa in the driveway on the right with the black gate.

All linens are provided; they must be removed and placed on the table upon departure. No cleaning fee is required. We ask that the apartment be left clean. Please note that if you plan to bring pets, there is no fence.

A welcoming apartment with a large terrace that offers a beautiful feeling of openness. I live there in a minimalist style for peace of mind and simplicity.

You will be at 10 minutes on foot from the historic center of Vence and even less from the first shops.

Vence is less than 15 minutes by car from a peak of 1000m above sea level and less than 20 minutes from the nearest beach. High class!

Also accessible by bus from Nice or Cagnes sur Mer train station.

The space
In the apartment you will find a sofa facing a beautiful olive tree and quiet.

The bed is 140cm wide with a comfortable mattress and 4 different types of cushions to choose your favorite!

I put at your disposal many books, a floor mat, scented candles for a revitalizing bath and hot beverages.

A TV is also present with netflix and a plea if you prefer.

In the kitchen you will have the essentials to cook: oven, kettle, pots, pans, robot (S blade), plunge blender, oven mold, ...

However, I do not have a microwave (this method of cooking is not the best for health), no toaster (the oven does very well), or coffee machine (I do not wood but there is organic soluble coffee!).
