The property is at the very top of everything hence the incredible views it has, it is totally unique and while the photos are good you need to see it for yourself to appreciate it. - "My family of four (includes two middle school aged children) had an incredible time in Portovenere. The flat is within walking distance of all of the shops and restaurants but far enough away that you can appreciate the quiet and breathtaking views. The beach is literally across the street which was really convenient. We spent most of our day away from the apartment, but it had all the amenities you would need. The second shower is actually not in the flat but up on the second veranda (yes, there are two balconies) but we actually liked using it as it still felt private and was more spacious. The hosts were responsive to any questions and made check-in and out very easy. The flat is on the smaller side but if the weather is right, you will want to spend most of your time on the veranda taking in the amazing views or out and about enjoying the city. There are also a lot of steps to get up to the flat so depending on age of kids or and any issues with stairs, just know there are quite a few steps to manage. Great experience overall."

Upon arrival at the villa guests will find two private parking spaces where they can leave their cars (a rare find in Portovenere as parking can often be an issue). From the parking area to reach the villa there are four flights of stairs with a railing which can be seen in the photographs of the villa. The villa is not adapt for guests with any sort of disability to climb the stairs .

The villa is on two floors; the ground floor has a spacious living room with sofas and chairs and a television with satellite tv. The living room opens up to the amazing seaview terrace that is comfortably equipped with fine luxurious outdoor furnishings to enjoy the terrace at it's most. On this floor there is also a fully equipped kitchen, a double bedroom with ceiling fan (no A.C.) and a bathroom with shower which all also have access to the amazing terrace.

The first floor is composed of four bedrooms, of which two have king size beds and the others two have two singles beds (90cm x 200cm each ) that can be convertible into king bed. On this floor there are also two nice spacious bathrooms of which one has a shower and the other has bathtub. On request you can have a crib for baby. All rooms have ceiling fans and A.C.
Children are welcome and they will find games, DVDs with film dedicated to children and a beautiful garden to play but should never miss the supervision of an adult for the many stairs on the property . Child supervision is a must.

The villa is situated 5 minutes by foot from the Arenella Beach and 5 minutes from the town center where there are restaurants, bars, a supermarket, pharmacy, ATM machine and the small harbor where boats leave frequently for the 5 Terre. The car is recommended but is not essential. The bus stop and taxi rank are close to the property.

Upon request you can have a porter service for luggage upon arrival and departure, or a delivery service for groceries from the supermarket with an extra cost to be agreed ahead of time.

In the house you'll find information for excursions to the 5 Terre, Tours in wineries, quarries of Carrara marble, boat trips with a chance to have lunch or dinner on board and many other details that will make your stay very pleasant.

Located in the prestigeous fisherman's village of Porto Venere (just listed by New York Times as one of the top 45 most beautiful places to visit on earth and one of the UNESCO world heritage sites), not to mention one of the most beautiful and romantic villages of the Italian Riviera, Stella Di Mare is the perfect hub for visiting the Cinque Terre by boat. The Villa is very conveniently located at 10 meters from the shore and few steps from the historical center and local restaurants, supermarkets.

Stella Di Mare is a 2 bedrooms, two bathroom villa with a fantastic view and a nice terrace overlooking the Channel of Porto Venere. The balcony, fully equipped with comfortable furniture offers a fantastic view on Palmaria island and it s particularly pleasing for breakfast outdoors or for sipping a good glass of local wine.
Upon entering we find the living room with sofa / TV, a dining table that seats up to six / eight people, a small kitchen fully equipped and a bathroom with shower. On your left there is a spiral staircase that allows access to the sleeping area of the first floor so arranged: 1 corridor with 1 single bed, 1 master bedroom with balcony and stunning sea view, 1 Twin room with 2 single beds, 1 bathroom with shower.
The owner, in addition to having an innate passion for the sea and oceans, was one of the Italian greatest collectors of seashells and this explains the marine style throughout the whole house.
This property is the perfect set up for two couples or for a family. Private parking for one car is at disposal of the guests.
For those wishing to visit the area without a car there is a taxi service or a bus stop at the train station in La Spezia. A driver is available at extra cost for those wishing to be picked up at the airport or upon departure.

- "This was a charming, quirky house where we quickly felt at home. We loved swimming four times a day and never tired of the amazing views. Portovenere is a charming, busy seaside town - no need to venture into the heaving CinqTerre: everything's right there. The road between the house and the beach gets busy and the beach right across from the house is private, expensive and booked up in advance. No need to pay as there are good options nearby, including a place to swim just next to the private area right across the street. We liked swimming by the rocks on the other side of the harbour. A really beautiful place."

If your party is big enough that you need to use the living room as a bedroom (there is a day bed in there), it is the only sleeping space that doesn't have air conditioning.
