The TV had plenty Channels to pick from also in English. Kitchen was well equipped with plenty pots, plates, and glasses. We really felt like home. At the evening we enjoyed aperol Spritz on the balcony . The best part was the location of the Villa which is located in a secluded close to Forte Dei Marmi and near to Lucca, Piza, Cirque Terre and Florence. As the locations were in close distance from Villa we were able to visit all those places in just a week. The distance to the food store was approximately 3 min by car and 10 min walk. Massimo Conti was amazing host and extremely helpful with our all requests. He was very responsive and we felt taking care off. I would recommend the Villa to anyone! Quiet neighborhood of other villas and greenery. House suitable for children and the elderly. Dogs are welcome and the garden is safe because it is completely fenced with railing and hedge. No architectural barrier. The area is suitable for families who can relax by the sea or by making excursions: Pisa, Lucca and the Cinque Terre are about half an hour away by car, Florence, the Garfagnana and the Lunigiana are about an hour away. Beautiful are the walks and trips on the nearby Apuan Alps rich in mushrooms and chestnuts in the months of September and October.
The kitchen and three bedrooms were renovated in March 2017. The bathrooms are two a small one with an open shower, and a larger one with a hydromassage shower. In the house there are some bicycles available.
At 10 meters there is a grocery store and at 500 meters a high quality supermarket.

- "A great spot to stay!" - "The owner provides push bikes for use and this is the best way to get around. It's about 10mins from the beaches and the centre of the town. If you've not been to this part of Italy before the beaches are mainly private and cost between 50 and 120Euros for a day hire of sun beds and chairs etc. There's a free beach but it's a good 20mins away from the villa.We didn't see as much as we should have but the town is geared for the super rich. So things can be a bit pricey of a evening with food and drinks. But there are sensibly priced places as well.The villa was nice and cool with fans and aircon. Nice big front room but the terrace was nice and airy. Bedrooms are all a good size. One room hasn't got aircon. It's got everything else you need.Very complex bin system. TBH I don't think we got it right. But in all nice location, not much around the actual villa, but with the bikes, that really did make it work well. Good value."
