It is situated independently and quietly on the top of a hill just 4,5 km from the renowned sandy beaches of Forte Dei Marmi far away and offers a beautiful view of the Apuan Alps, of the Tyrrhenian sea and of the romantic, near islands of the Ligurian Gulf of poets. The parking area is very large a. The house has got a swimming pool with shower and panoramic view (approx: 11 x 5 m. - open from the 1st of April until the departing of our last guest), which does not contain chlorine but salt for a better helth and PH values. It warrants healthy relaxing hours. A pool vacuum is at disposal of the guests, as well as a video surveillance system activated in all the perimeter of the house and in the inside; a wood burning oven and a veranda with BBQ, completely equipped for dinners for up to 12 persons. Villa Dodi is a wonderful retreat for any self-catering holiday rental in Tuscany. The spacious, modern villa is situated in the picturesque town of Pietrasanta. It sits in a pretty residential area nestled at the foot of the Alpi Apuane, halfway between Pietrasanta and Marina di Pietrasanta and only 2 miles from the famous Versilia beaches. The semi-detached property is spread over 3 floors; the ground floor includes a lounge with plasma TV & DVD player, WC, well equipped kitchen and 2 double bedrooms each with en suites - one en suite has a whirlpool bath with shower over, the other has a shower enclosure. Both the kitchen and lounge lead onto a relaxing portico, perfect for al fresco dining (seats 8). The taverna (basement) where the temperatures are cooler in summer has a further lounge and kitchen, a dining area and an additional shower room plus a utility room with washing machine, iron & ironing board. Many bagni also have restaurants, cafés, bars and many other excellent facilities eg showers. It is highly recommended to pre-book your beach club before arriving in Pietrasanta. Our villas are situated only 100m from the cycle path that takes you directly to the beach under the protection of a beautiful tree lined boulevard.

Viareggio Carnival: Villa Dodi is a great base to experience the famous Viareggio Carnival. This spectacular event - one of the finest and grandest in Italy takes place throughout Mardi Gras each year (and repeated on a smaller scale during August). Celebrations include a wide programme of entertainment and fun for adults and children; the famous papier mâché floats -(works of art in themselves that take a year to create) parades, performances, public festivities and masked balls. A fantastic event not to be missed!

Villino Cecilia is a detached villa built all on one level situated in a quiet residential area of Marina di Pietrasanta called Fiumetto a few meters from the sea.
Relaxation is guaranteed in a well prepared with all the amenities. The villa has a large driveway where up to three cars can be left. It is 250 meters from the sea so do not even need the bike to go to the beach!

The house consists of a modern kitchen equipped with everything needed for longer stays, a living area with a dining table and a living room with a glass door that opens onto the beautiful veranda with outdoor furniture for outdoor dining.
A corridor then leads to the sleeping area consisting of 2 double bedrooms and 1 twin bedroom and 2 modern bathrooms, one with a shower and one with a bathtub and a washing machine.

The large terrace placed in front of the living room with views of the garden and especially the magnificent magnolia offers a wonderful place to eat al fresco during the warm months. All services are within a few minutes walk, including a bus stop connecting to Pietrasanta and Forte dei Marmi. For the little ones the pine forest and the playground are 300 meters away, near bars and restaurants etc.

Outside a small storage area offers a place for bicycles.

We first went to their office and picked-up the key, they introduced us to the house with all the details and info we needed. The house is perfect, we were 6 friends and it was just what we needed. It's close to the sea, close to the the center of Marina di Pietrasanta (further from Pietrasanta, but not with much) and still in a quiet area, surrounded by other beautiful houses. It does not have AC, but except from that it is equipped with anything you might need or desire. It has a dishwasher which is great, and a Dolce Gusto coffee machine which was a beautiful surprise for us (we love coffee). The oven, the microwave and all the tableware available complete the perfect kitchen. The terrace is amazing, perfect for breakfast, the bathrooms are spacious and the entire house is very clean. The garbage has a special treatment and you need a training to follow the rules for it (where to put each type, when to take it out, what bags or bins to use) but you get used to it in time and it works. Overall, we totally recommend this house and if we re-visit the area we will want to stay there again! Thank you!"

The kitchen has a serving hatch to the living room. Also from the kitchen you can reach the porch.

He lives next to the house, so if there is any problem there is always someone to ask. Also Ian was always reachable und helped us with little things. The is a very nice organic restaurant nearby (walking distance 5min), which has the best food! All organic and homemade. We even took some wine and olive oil back to Germany. Open Friday till Sunday, reservation necessary! The only mini-downside is the way up the hill. It is very tight and there are 3 Serpentines, which are not really easy to manage. And to get food or go out for some sightseeing you need to take those serpentines. Since some of us were a little afraid, we were always home before sundown. But nevertheless this house was so so awesome, we would always come back! Since we wanted to spent time together more than going out all week this was the best place for us!
