The property Anticopozzo is made up of two typical barns, recently restored with great care and equipped with every comfort, with a total surface of 200 sq.m. with 2 double and 2 twin bedrooms plus a double sofa bed and 4 bathrooms, for a total of 10 people. Perfect for 2 families, it offers common space to stay together, a swimming pool and a terrace with gazebo, plus private areas. Both apartments have central heating, air conditioning, satellite TV and free WiFi Internet connection.

External Area and Swimming Pool
The external area is made up of a 700 sq. m. garden, completely fenced, which surrounds the house on three sides. The private swimming pool is 7 metres by 4 with a depth of 0.8-1.6 metres and is in front of one of the barns. The other barn has a large panoramic terrace with gazebo and a table, chairs, wood oven and stone barbecue for outdoor meals and relaxing moments.

Both structures have been carefully restored and are complete with every kind of luxury. The first barn is on two floors: the ground high floor with access from an external stair has a cosy living room, a kitchen with typical fireplace and stone cooking area, fully equipped; 2 bathrooms with shower and a small laundry room with washing machine. Leading down to the lower floor are six steps; here you will find one double bedroom, one twin bedded room (beds can be joined) with outdoor access.
The second barn has a small kitchen, completely equipped, a dining room and an open loft which has a living area with satellite TV, fireplace and double sofa bed. Rounding up the ground floor are a twin bedded room (beds can be joined), one bathroom with shower and a laundry room with washing machine. The house (200square meters) is intimate and welcoming and it spreads over two floors and holds till 8 guests.

- "Gorgeous house situated on a working vineyard and olive oil plantation in Tuscany. House is beautifully decorated and incredibly well situated for touring Tuscany. Owners and support staff are incredibly nice and very attentive. They go above and beyond--very willing to help with anything that you need. Be sure to ask about their food shopping service and the chef--as both are well worth the money. Both of these things made arrival incredibly easy. Also, they will give you a tour of the vineyard if you ask which is lots of fun for all. The only surprise came at check-out when we received the bill for the electric. - "10 of us ages ranging from 11 to 63 had a fantastic week. The accommodation and facilities were superb. We enjoyed using the pizza oven, the barbecue and ,of course, the pool. The views were magnificent and the owners were very helpful. We are now planning our return visit.The local town has supermarkets, bakeries and an excellent gelateria. It is rare to find a villa with 6 double bedrooms each with an en-suite bathroom. This enabled 4 couple and 3 children to sleep harmoniously. The kitchen facilities enabled us to cook together every day. The sitting areas were very comfortable. The villa is well situated for visits to Florence and Siena as well as the smaller Tuscan towns. The villa was very clean when we arrived. We arranged a clean halfway through our week, and the cleaning team were delightful. The pool was ideal for a family with a good shallow end. There were plenty of loungers and a good shaded area with a table. Every morning the owner's team were cleaning the pool and the surrounding areas. Nothing was too much trouble for them."

- "We had a wonderful week at Tenuta Il Tresto. I wanted to stay in Tuscany but preferred not to drive. I chose Poggibonsi as a central town to many others from which we could travel to by bus or train. This worked very well, however I must say my friend and I are walkers. Tenuta Il Tresto is about 30 minutes walk from the train station, and is on a hill so going down was easier. It is fine if you have a car and the roads were good and the traffic not nearly as bad as I experienced on the coast in Italy previously. Our stay was fantastic. Host Gabriel collected us from the train station and showed us around. The apartment is rustic, not high on mod-cons, but has everything you need. Two spacious double bedrooms, a living area, bathroom and a kitchen where we cooked on a few nights. Breakfast was offered in the dining room in another building which was beautiful. A buffet continental breakfast, and the lovely Nicoletta made omelettes to order, and great coffee. We had this a few mornings. We also had a lovely dinner there on our first night which can be done by arrangement. Laundry facilities are available for a small charge. The grounds are beautiful, everything I dreamed of in a Tuscan property – various old buildings set amongst gorgeous gardens, vineyards, olive trees, fruit trees and a pool. We travelled to Florence, Siena, San Gimignano and Monteriggioni, all day trips by train or bus, or could be done by car. The town of Poggibonsi, despite being bombed during World War 2, still retains some of its old buildings, and was good to walk around. Gabriel and Nicoletta were very friendly and welcoming hosts. (We didn’t meet Martina).Gabriel took us back to the train station when we left, dropped us at a restaurant one night when we couldn’t get a taxi – and if you need one try Gianni on 0039 339 4497 423 – a very helpful taxi driver who spoke English. Also Marco 0039 339 899 8667. We dined out in Poggibonsi twice – one night we tried to go to Osteria da Camillo, which was recommended to us, but it was closed so we went to the bar/restaurant opposite it. I can’t remember its name but it was very nice. We also had an amazing night at Al Cassero Osteria which is set in a castle on a hill. The food was fantastic, the staff so friendly and helpful, great views – our best meal while we were away- very special. I highly recommend Tenuta Il Tresto. We did not want to leave."

- "We really loved our stay and I highly recommend this place for larger groups who still need some privacy. There are a few finishing touches that can be improved but all in all excellent. Got really great meals from chef Virna and owner Natale was quick to respond as well as others. The villa has a large garden with a lovely lawn and stone walls, hedges and flowering bushes. On one side of the lawn you will find the swimming pool, with a curious shape, with a depth of 0.5-1.4 metres. Elegant wood flooring surrounds the pool and you will also find sunbeds and an outdoor shower. On the opposite side there is an arbour with a table and chairs for outdoor breakfasts and a small construction with a wood oven and stone barbecue perfect for making pizza. Villa Belvedere has been carefully restored not long ago, mixing the traditional aspects of a Tuscan country house with new materials and light colours. The bathrooms, all different from each other, are original and practical. The main house is on two floors. On the ground floor you will find a living room with fireplace, the modern, fully equipped kitchen, the dining room with a large table for 12 people, a double bedroom with bathroom with shower (suitable for disabled persons), a small bathroom.
A staircase leads to the first floor, where you will immediately notice the wood flooring, with two double bedrooms each with bathroom with bathtub, a bedroom with two beds with bathroom with shower, a bedroom with bathroom with shower which is also accessible from the ancient outdoor staircase.
The annex has an interesting structure and is spacious and bright, with large windows without curtains which make it feel like a large indoor garden. The first floor is a loft above the living room which has a large double bed in the middle, while on the other side of a partition, there is a bathroom with a bathtub with hydromassage and underwater lighting. This splendid villa is on a hill in Chianti and is part of a large farm which produces excellent, well-known wines. All around are olive groves and vineyards which creating a beautiful view. The villa is isolated from the main part of the farm and is perfect for admiring the surrounding panorama.

Villa La Coccola is a seductive farmhouse whose oldest part dates back to the mid-700s.

Leaning against a terraced ground with a marked line of limestone blocks facing the pool area and the pool house - a combination giving strong character to the property - Villa La Coccola welcomes guests immediately showing itself for what it is ... a beautiful refuge for those seeking relaxation and tranquility.
The upper area looks like a balcony on the hills that slope down into the underlying valley boasting a 180 degrees view over this characteristic part of Tuscany, to admire, maybe at sunset, enjoying a glass of wine by the pool.
The large yard facing the pool house has several seats suitable for resting, having a conversation or reading a book.
The pool in travertine and ceramic tiles surrounded by a larch wood platform, has an elongated, strict and narrow shape, reminiscent of the ancient tanks where the farm animals were watered. The water is salty, has two hydrojets and can be heated upon request (supplement to be paid on spot), thus allowing guests to enjoy the pool even in colder months (closed from November to March included).
Villa La Coccola consists of two units: the pool house and the main building.
The pool house is an open space obtained from the restoration of an old barn, on the ground floor there is a fully equipped kitchen (big refrigerator with freezer, stove with 5 burners, microwave oven, dishwasher, kettle, tiny wine-cellar, mixer, coffee-makers, toaster) and on the mezzanine there is a living area with satellite TV. The patio is equipped with table and chairs for open air meals right in front of the pool, thus enjoying the atmosphere and the beauty of the surrounding landscape.
On the ground floor of the farmhouse there is a large open space with a living area, a second fully equipped kitchen (refrigerator, stove with 5 hobs, oven, dishwasher, coffee maker) and a dining area for meals indoor. Beyond the living room there is a passage room with a toilet. Still on the ground floor there is a laundry room with washing machine and dryer.
On the upper floor, there are 3 finely furnished double bedrooms (two of which with detachable king-size beds, the master bedroom and the violet one) each one distinguished by style and colors, all with ensuite bathrooms with shower and air conditioning. The master bedroom has a passage room with a single sofa bed, it can therefore accommodate 3 persons. Villa Lionella is a splendid three-story villa surrounded by meadows and by green hills. It sleeps 16 people. From Villa Lionella you will enjoy a breathtaking view of the Senesi hills and of the greenery. Villa Lionella is 450 square meters (4850 square feet). It features a private swimming pool, a private garden, air conditioning (please read description below to check in which rooms the units are installed), winter heating and WI-FI Internet access.
You will be roughly 3.5 km (2.2 miles) from Poggibonsi, where you will find restaurants, shops and public transportation. You will find the closest restaurant at 1.5 km (roughly 1 mile). You will reach Villa Lionella from the parking area without having to climb any steps.
To stay at Villa Lionella you will need a car. You will be able to park it free of charge inside the entrance gate.

Tenuta di Macericca has two floors. The main entrance leads into a bright, spacious living room with a sofa and TV corner and an area with dining table; next to this is the large, fully-equipped kitchen with central island and marble worktop. French windows from both the living room and the kitchen lead directly to the outdoor terraces. The ground floor is completed by a reading room with fireplace and a bathroom with shower. An internal staircase leads to the upper floor with the sleeping area composed of five bedrooms, all with ensuite bathroom: two double with bathroom with shower, one double with bathroom with hydromassage shower (with Turkish bath and chromotherapy functions), a double with bathroom with tub and, finally, a double (with divisible bed) with bathroom with whirlpool tub. The laundry room is located in the basement with access from the outside and located on one side of the house.

Tenuta di Macericca is part of a property that covers about 10 hectares of land, distributed among olive groves, woods and newly-planted vineyards; the available garden is about 2000 sq m, spread out over various terraces which are covered mainly by paved areas and partly by lawn (about 300 sq m) with bushes of lavender, sage and rosemary, olive and cypress trees and ornamental plants. Outside the living room French windows on the ground floor are large paved terraces with umbrellas providing shade to small tables, chairs, sofas and a long table for outdoor dining, the latter directly in front of the kitchen French window, facing the pool. The entrance gate to the property leads directly to the parking area, just a few steps from the main entrance.Please notice that photos are taken in spring, therefore flower blossoming, and the colours of the gardens' grass could be different at the moment of your arrival at the villa.
Swimming Pool:
In the most secluded area of the property, on a lower terrace about 20 m from the house, and accessed across a paved path and then through a gate, is the completely fenced-in pool which measures 7 x 14 m with the depth varying from 0.95 to 2.30 m. Lined in PVC with a wooden border, it has a metal ladder for access to the water, chlorine purification and internal and external lighting. The sunbathing area is equipped with umbrellas, tables, comfortable sunbeds and a cold-water shower. The pool is open from the last Saturday of April until the first Saturday of October.

The main villa is arranged on two floors. On the ground floor is the living area with a fireplace and a table for 12 persons, the modern and fully equipped kitchen. 1 double bedroom with bathroom with shower for the disabled, a service bathroom.

An internal staircase leads to the first floor where there is the sleeping area consisting of 2 double bedrooms each with bathroom with bath, 1 twin bedroom with bathroom with shower, 1 double bedroom with bathroom with shower and access also from the old external staircase.

The dependance is a special structure, created with the open concept of the living spaces, it allows a direct connection between the dining room and the living room and is characterised by large windows without curtains that allow you to live inside as if you were on the lawn on the ground floor. Five steps down lead to the fully equipped kitchen and 1 bathroom with shower. On the first floor is the formed sleeping area with a bed in the middle and a bathroom with Jacuzzi.

Villa Rugiada, located between Florence and Siena in the Chianti hills, is an ancient expertly restored country house, an elegant and welcoming home, the ideal place to spend a period of relaxation and dedicate time to yourself.

Surrounded by vineyards and olive trees, Villa Rugiada is an ancient, expertly renovated farmhouse consisting of two residential units: La Villa and Il Fienile, a housing complex that combines traditional Tuscan architecture with quality materials, comfort and technology.

Totally reserved for guests are the large swimming pool with hydromassage in a panoramic position, a large garden equipped with barbecue and wood-burning oven as well as a comfortable and shaded veranda for relaxing and having lunch en plein air.

The garden has no barriers or fences: simply open the front door to explore the area of ​​the estate, following paths that cross fields and woods, observing the flora and fauna characteristic of Tuscany.

As you turn off the country road to Villa Cecconi for the first time, you can immediately get a sense of its grandeur. Perfectly spaced, tall cypress trees and colourful rose bushes line the immaculate driveway which leads you up through the gates to a magnificent wisteria covered parking area. Sublime views sweep over vineyards to the towers of San Gimignano in the distance, and the landscaped gardens lead you down to an inviting, large pool area.

Impressive in scale, the accommodation is spread out over three stone buildings. An original medieval watchtower forms the main villa, with its long dining table for 26, the best equipped and largest kitchen, as well as seven spacious bedrooms, each with their bathroom.

Across the garden is an equally well furnished second smaller villa for eight guests, perfect for a family or young adults who appreciate their bijou kitchen and living space.

For those who prefer to avoid steps, the self-contained cottage is ideal and thoughtfully adapted for wheelchair access. Each part of the property has been carefully restored to a high level, retaining its original exposed stone walls, terracotta tiles and wooden beamed ceilings, so you have a sense of its historical routes.

A large dining table under a gazebo on the lawn is the dreamy setting for eating the most delicious Tuscan meals together, prepared for you by a local cook if so desired. Budding chefs can enjoy firing up the outdoor pizza oven, and barbecue or fabulous simple dishes can be prepared easily with an array of fresh, seasonal produce from the local markets.

Many villas in Tuscany take hours to find along bumpy country roads, but Villa Cecconi is easily reached just five drive minutes easy drive from the modern town of Poggibonsi where you will also find a couple of supermarkets. The more historic town of San Gimignano is just 15 minutes away for good restaurants, pizzerias and cafes.

Food plays a central role in Tuscan life so enter into the spirit, find a scenic spot, sip on a glass of Chianti Classico and be sure to try the region’s best seasonal produce. From light tomato Panzanella or Fagioli bean dishes to wild boar stews and fresh pasta, all finished off with mouth-watering cantucci biscuits and Vin santo dessert wine, Tuscan cuisine cannot fail to disappoint. Be sure to visit the farmer's markets in Poggibonsi on Tuesdays or San Gimignano on Thursdays.

For a smooth ride into Florence or Siena, follow the main road from Poggibonsi or leave the car at Poggibonsi station and jump on a local train there. Florence is the larger of the two, with its amazing collection of Renaissance art and architecture, a fantastic range of boutiques and a wide selection of restaurants. Siena is nearer, just a 20-minute drive from the villa. With an array of fabulous churches, galleries, restaurants, Renaissance and Gothic architecture and a stunning central piazza, one visit will not be enough.
