Wonderful condo unit at the foothills of the rocky mountain. This unit has been recently refurnished, with new furniture and appliances (all stainless steel). 5 minutes to Cando and 15 minutes to Banff

- "We chose this place initially as it was the only rental we could find in our price point that had three real beds (as oppsed to a sleeper sofa). It was very clean and the owner was very friendly and responsive. It was on the smaller side, but that wasnt much of an issue, because we were out and about so much. The kitchen could be a little better stocked . For example, It would have been a little easier if there were oven mitts and a wooden spoon. Bbq tools would also be helpful as there are bbqs right outside our condo and we love to barbeque! But honestly, other than that, we really enjoyed our stay!"

Large windows overlook the pristine indoor pool, and the steam room offer the perfect paradise at the end of a fun day! Make use of the equipped fitness room on-site to keep in shape, while the kids are sure to love the children's play area. We recommend having a car as the lively Banff centre is a short 2-minute drive away, though it's worth taking advantage of your FREE Roam bus passes during your stay - the bus stop is just outside!

Hikes: A great local Banff family hike is Tunnel Mountain. Lake Louise: Plain of Six Glaciers Teahouse (full day) or Lake Agnes Tea House (1/2 day). Johnston Canyon also with frozen waterfalls in the winter, Moraine Lake: Larch Valley & Sentinel Pass, Takakkaw Falls and the Iceline trail.

Skiing & Winter fun! Downhill skiing: Mt Norquay (15 mins), Sunshine (20 mins) and Lake Louise (40 mins), these are all amazing ski hills, Mt Norquay is more local so ideal if you want a half day. For Cross Country Skiing check out the Canmore Nordic Centre. Tubing is amazing fun and available at both Lake Louise and Mt Norquay. Ice skating at Lake Louise is also a must do and makes the perfect photo opportunity!

Lynx Cabin is one of seven cabins on our property known as Banff Beaver Cabins, a “Class B Alberta Heritage Site” and one of the earlier set of tourist cabins built in Banff. Situated in downtown Banff, one block away from Banff’s main street.

The space
The Lynx Cabin is all you need for your trip to Banff. Lynx Cabin is a cozy, 150sqft (14m2) studio with one queen bed, private bathroom and tiny kitchenette with microwave, fridge and hot plate.

Guest access
There is a beautiful outdoor space including a picnic table, gazebo with tables and chairs and 2 BBQs that are available for all guests staying at our cabins.

Other things to note
Parking is carefully laid out. Please pay very close attention to parking instructions provided in the cabin. If vehicles are not properly aligned the parking lot will not function.
Unfortunately we can't accommodate large vehicles such as trucks and vans. There is free street parking close by on Muskrat, Caribou or Beaver Street.

The space
At Storm Mountain you will find elegant historic cabins, delicious fine dining and lovely Canadian gifts & books. You will not find WiFi, telephones, televisions, coffee pots, refrigerators and other modern amenities as our generator’s capacity has limits.

Storm Mountain is not unlike running a costly backcountry lodge, as we are completely self sufficient for water, sewer and we generate our own power. Our cabins are not equipped with kitchens and indoor and outdoor cooking is prohibited as we are located in an important wildlife corridor and therefore we must do our part to ensure we do not attract animals. We serve wonderful meals in our lodge dining room and lounge.

Winter Cold Weather: Our Cabins are toasty warm for the vast majority of winter however, when outside temperatures fall below -25 Celsius (rare) interior temperature can also drop below room temperature (20C)- bringing warm sleeping clothing, slippers and keeping the fire stoked is often the solution!

The cabin is perfect for up to 3 adults or a family of 4 with smaller children. For your comfort, we don't recommend sleeping two adults on the pullout.

The space
This 2 bedroom 2 bathroom cabin features a full kitchen, 1 king bed in the first bedroom, 1 queen bed in the second bedroom and a true cabin feel with wood accents throughout the unit. Stairs are used to access the bedrooms on the second floor. Please note that the ceilings on the second floor are very low.
There is a full bathroom on the main floor and a small bathroom upstairs (no shower-bathtub only due to low ceiling).

Guest access
This is a private cabin that is attached to the Elkhorn Lodge. Access is at the rear of the property.

Moose Cabin is one of seven cabins on our property known as Banff Beaver Cabins, a “Class B Alberta Heritage Site” and one of the earlier set of tourist cabins built in Banff. Situated in downtown Banff, one block away from Banff’s main street.

The space
Moose Cabin is a two bedroom apartment with full kitchen, living room and private bathroom that accommodates 4 guests. Moose Cabin is situated above the Cougar Basement Suite.

Guest access
You have access to the main floor of the house.

We invite all our guests to enjoy the BBQ area as well as the backyard including a gazebo and picnic table.

Other things to note
Parking is carefully laid out. Please pay very close attention to parking instructions provided in the cabin. If vehicles are not properly aligned the parking lot will not function.

This unit features a full kitchen with stainless steel appliances and a drip coffee maker with complimentary coffee and tea.
