Recharge amongst the trees at our cabin by the beach. The wood cabin is earthy and sunny and faces out to a gully of beautiful trees with magical views of the Illawarra escarpment. In the cabin you will be able to relax and feel like you're on vacation far away from it all. You're a 100 meter flat walk to the patrolled beach and ocean pool and a 15-minute walk to the village of Bulli for groceries, cafes and pubs. Also a quick drive to Thirroul, Austinmer or Coledale.
The space
Our cabin is a 100 meters easy flat walk to the sands of the Bulli beach and stunning ocean pool. You will be able to easily duck down for a quick morning or evening dip or set up for a fun family day at the beach. The beach is stunning with the escarpment in the background and long stretches of sand in either direction. The kids have many options to enjoy the water; the patrolled beach, the two ocean pools (large and kids one) or an expansive protected area for easy rock pooling and exploring the water. For cooler days or nights you can make use of our fire pit and enjoy the sound of the ocean and look up at the stars. With a great cafe on the headland, you'll have all you need to enjoy this beautiful spot in Australia.
The A-frame wood cabin has two bedrooms (one with a queen and one with a double bed), one bathroom, an open plan kitchen, living area and a large undercover balcony with garden. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to whip up feasts or simple bbq’s, including a dishwasher. There is a dining table inside and comfy couches to soak up the sun on or chill out with a movie after a day at the beach. On the deck you've got an outdoor dining setup, chairs to relax on and a weber bbq facing out to a grassy garden and magical mountain views.
Guest access
The entire cabin will be yours to privately enjoy, except for the loft space which is not accessible as part of the rental. You access the property up a private driveway which you will park in front of.
If you’re coming by train, we are a 15- minute walk from the station and if we are home we can can pick you up and drop you off!
Other things to note
We have just listed this cabin starting in November 2023 so you will be among our first guests. We hope we’ve thought of all you need but if there’s anything we can do to help in your stay please let us know. We can’t wait to have you!
Our fire pit is available for your enjoyment, with a few considerations. We supply wood and just ask for you to send an additional $20 if you do make use of it to cover the wood. We also request that the fire is fully extinguished and outside noise is wrapped up by 11pm.
