If you dont have a boat throw a line in from the sandy shores of the river. Walk 500metres around the river to Shoalhaven Heads Surf Beach which is popular all year round for fishing, surfing, kite flying and windsurfing. If golf is more your style the all weather Shoalhaven Heads Golf Course is only 1.5km away.

LOCAL ATTRACTIONS

Shoalhaven Heads is only 10km to the historic town of Berry which offers an abundance of cafes, craft markets & antique shops. A great place to laze away the sunday morning or visit the Berry Market on the first sunday of every month.
The South Coast is becoming well known for its boutique wineries many of which have produced award-winning wines all within a short drive from "Lorsens on the River". Wine tours are available.
Jervis Bay is 1/2 hour drive away where you can spot the whales from June until the end of November or go dolphin watching all year round.
