This water access only property is perfect for the wanderers and adventurers, for those who want to escape from the ordinary. Soak up endless views of Broken Bay, watch pelicans flying past your window and the tides coming in and out through the mouth of Patonga Creek. Once you arrive you're in another world. Oyster Lodge is accessible only boat.
Nestled on the side of the hill and facing north for full sunshine all day, you will have direct access to what seems like your own private beach with lagoon like waters where you can go swimming, fishing, kayaking or just relax on the grassed area outside watching your children play on the beach below.
Oyster Lodge has three spacious bedrooms and due to its location and facilities we recommend a maximum of four persons staying.
All bedrooms have panoramic views of Broken Bay and Patonga.
You'll find plenty of comfortable seating in the large open plan living area with a large leather couch and chairs plus a four person dining setting.
The kitchen is basic and well equipped with an oven, microwave and stovetop plus a full sized fridge and dishwasher. The pantry is stocked with essential items however you will need to bring everything with you for a comfortable stay.
The bathroom/laundry has a large shower and washing machine with a composting toilet and tank water, we provide drinking water. Water is a scarce resource so please use it sparingly.

As the property is water access only we will arrange transport for you. Return transfers are $100 cash to be paid to the tinny driver. Once you are there we have a tinny with oars and kayaks so you can cross the creek whenever you choose.

Description
Cute and cozy self contained flat. Centrally located in the picturesque Patonga Beach village. Beach access across the road, creek access at the other end of the street. An easy, flat walk to The Boathouse Restaurant and Pub either strolling along the beach or on the road. Perfect for a couples weekend away.
The Space
Open plan lounge, dining, kitchenette area, seperate bedroom and ensuite bathroom. Private access and private courtyard.

A lockbox code will be sent 48 hours before guest arrival along with any checkin instructions.
Other things to note
Phone reception is limited in Patonga Beach unless you're on the Telstra network. There is Wifi and Foxtel available at the property and also free Wifi at The Boathouse.

Situated 40 metres from the creek in the beautiful fishing village of Patonga. We are a 5 minute walk to the beach. The Boathouse Hotel with it's renowned restaurant, fish and chip shop is a 5 minute walk away. With many magnificent bush walks, fishing, swimming, kayaking, cycling or just relaxing by the creek and watching the tide come in and out there is something for everyone. Just an hour and a half by car from Sydney or 30 minutes by ferry from Palm Beach.
The space
We have Netflix, a "smart" TV and a CD player. There is also a 2 1/2 man kayak and a single kayak for cruising the creek. Fishing and swimming are popular in the creek also. Reverse cycle Air conditioning for your comfort. Sheets and bath towels are provided but not beach towels. We have a DeLonghi Nespresso pod coffee maker with a small selection of pods.
Guest access
You will enjoy complete privacy in our two bedroom fully self contained cabin, recently built with all modern amenities. Access to the cabin is from Patonga Street with parking at the door. A path beside the house leads to the waterfront and a wide grassy nature strip.
Other things to note
Be prepared to relax and enjoy a little piece of paradise.
The cabin area is fenced therefore safe for small children and most pets. We welcome your pets but some will not be suited to our property so if you could please advice us what type and breed you have before booking.
