Kroysan, a small and cosy house for 5 persons.

There are 3 rooms in the house. A bedroom with 2 bunks, a kitchen with the normal facilities, which also has 3 bunks, and then a toilet with no shower. No hot water. You will have access to a public shower in the village.

Outside the house there is small terrace with a bench. There is good view to the sea and the mountains.

To reach the listing user will have to take a ferry and there are certain time frames in which the ferry is available.

The space
The house in Syðradalur is less than 150 meters from the ferry to Klakksvík and the island bus. You will experience a quietness that is appreciated.

The space
The boat house is a one of its kind.

The very old preserve construction/design and the stonemasonry are visible in the basement.

Most of the materials used in the restoration are natural wood and almost everything from the main construction of the boat house is preserve. All of the main design is preserved.
The house has low ceiling, if you are over 6’ you may have to do a little ducking here and there

On the main floor is a couch bed (200cmx140cm) , a pull-out table, 4 chairs, 2 armchairs in front of the big window with an outstanding view .We provide coffee maker,electric water kettle, dishes, sauce pan, electric oven, and yes , wine opener.

We have a fire burner, so your job is to keep it warm . We provide the wood.
You can cook on the fire burner , the guest really like that.

The basement room is a low place only made for beds. The heat comes from an electric radiator.

I'm told, from two of our guests, to put up a little warning for paralysed and older people can have problems getting do through the trapdoor in the floor down to the beds, there is noproblem for them to sleep upstairs in the duble sleeping couch.

We provide towels, soap, shampoo, bed lines, coffee.
You can drink water from the sink in Faroe Island. We do have cold and hot water.

Fishing is what the Faroese people do best, whether by boat or from the shore. You too can enjoy a spot of angling in the peace and quiet of the lakeside, surrounded by steep mountains. We provide you with 2 rods, so you can go fishing as well. And in the summer time the nights are perfect for fishing, as is not getting dark.

You can find our cosy cottage in our backyard just by the sea. Here you can relax and enjoy the quiet neighborhood and beautiful surroundings. The cottage is suitable for a couple or two persons. Within a walking distance, there is a café/bar, tourist center, sagamuseum, souvenirshop, restaurant, birdcliff sightseeing, sea angling trips and a grocery store.

The space
The old hayhouse "Hoyggjhúsið" was rebuilt in 2018 and has a small bathroom with a shower and toilet. The sleeping area is in the loft, eighter as a doublebed or two seperated beds. Small kitchen with all facilities, but no freezer. There are basic spices, like salt and pepper. Also thé and instant coffee are available.
You can sit down and enjoy the viev from the small sofa or at the table. There is free Wi-fi and a channel tv with chromecast.

Lundi Cottage is one of the Múlafossur Cottages located by the world-renown waterfall in the village Gásadalur on the Faroe Islands. It is only a 10-20min drive from the only airport on the islands, shops and cafes as well as some of the most astounding Faroese sceneries such as Drangarnir, Tindhólmur and the lake Sørvágsvatn/Leitisvatn. We promise a truly magical and secluded place, with sights of sheep, birds and highland cows - all nestled by the river that leads down to the waterfall.

The space
For many years we - the Lauritsen Family - have dreamt of having a small community of traditional looking wooden cottages - a place for people to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Gásadalur. We currently have six cottages: Tjaldur, Lundi, Spógvi, Terna, Súla and Gás that were built in 2020-23 by the family-owned company: Foss.

While the cottage is small and cosy, it comfortably house up to two people, with room for an additional two people for an extra charge. There is a double bed in the downstairs bedroom, and the upstairs loft contains 2 single beds. Be aware that you do need to climb a ladder/stairs to get upstairs as shown in photos.

It truly is a place for everyone: families with kids who want to play in the river and friendly surroundings, couples who want to unwind and spend quality time together and adventurers who want to hike and explore.

Included in the package deal are wifi, bed sheets, towels and kitchen and bathroom essentials. There is unfortunately not yet a washer dryer on the premises.
Finally, there is a 729DKK cleaning fee on top of the total amount.

The final road leading to the cottage is fairly rocky, but it is possible to reach your final destination by car - parking spots are outside the cottage.

A traditional cottage in a charming, secluded village with amazing scenery – unique, rural and remote, yet only one hour from the capital!

The space
The cottage is situated in the centre of the village Elduvík and enjoys a spectacular view of the bay, the surrounding mountains, and the winding stream running through the valley behind the village church.

Elduvík, with its population of only eighteen, is a truly charming village, where the friendly neighbourhood dogs play in the narrow streets, and the peace and quiet is only “interrupted” by the sound of the waves crashing against the rocky beach and the bleating of the sheep roaming around freely.

Originally the village grocery store, the cottage was fully restored in 2004, with the bathroom and kitchen again remodelled in 2018.

House Layout:
Upstairs: two separate bedrooms – one with two twin beds, the other with a double bed – and a common area between them.

First floor: the entrance and bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen with quality cookware from KitchenAid, Le Creuset and others, a wood burning stove and a cosy dining area, as well as the living room with its comfortable furniture, colourful art and a Steinway piano.

Basement: utility and storage room with washer and dryer and plenty of wood for the fire.

Mod Cons: free WI-FI internet, Bose wireless Bluetooth speaker, Canon digital photo printer, Nespresso coffee maker, automatic ice cube maker in freezer, underfloor heating in entrance and bathroom.
