Parking was made available at the neighboring home across the street. A garden with flowers and fruit trees runs down the front of the property, and there is private parking and free WIFI. It's the perfect place to get away from everything and decompress.

The holiday home includes two bedrooms, two bathrooms with a shower, a seating area, and a kitchen with a fridge. There is also a porch with a dining table and the 2nd bedroom has a separate entrance. This may not be suitable for families with young children.

The property is just a five-minute walk from the beach, the town of Sauteurs is a twenty-minute walk away, and ten minutes the other way is the Petite Anse Hotel where there is a restaurant.

What you'll love about his property is the sweeping lawns that are backed by a view of the Caribbean Sea over to the islands. It's refreshing and rejuvenating and often has an onshore breeze, keeping mosquitos at bay and is very relaxing.

It’s not the fault of the owner, but driving on Grenada is quite the challenge and the cottage is a distance away from everywhere we wanted to go to. The view is spectacular, the beach at the bottom of the hill is lovely and darn good for snorkeling. The cottage was quaint but could use some more care. There is no restaurant onsite but you can order take out from town - ilysha , the onsite contact is very helpful. If you do rent a car it should be AWD."

- "I stayed at Almost Paradise from March 12-26 and the best way I can describe it is as a dream come true. My adorable cottage sat on a hillside overlooking the ocean, and waking up every day to the gorgeous view was one of the amazing things about my stay. The cottages have all been beautifully taken care of, and I appreciated the property housekeeper coming in daily to tidy up. Lucinda is a wonderful host - lovely to talk to, helpful, accommodating, and an incredible cook. I was lucky to be able to eat her food for dinner almost every night. I fell in love with her doggies Roxy and Pickles and she invited me to join her while she fed Roxy's 5-week-old puppies! St. Patrick's is a quiet part of Grenada, away from hotels, crowds, cruise ships, etc. It was a perfect place to work remotely from, with excellent internet, even better than the internet in Toronto! For now, I will dream about Almost Paradise until I return next March, when my dream can again come true. Thank you Lucinda!!!"

- "This is a lovely property. The negative is no A/C - which we knew going in. There is a fan which helps a lot. Lucinda is an excellent cook, try to schedule meals there if you can, you won't regret it. If you have any mobility issues at all, check the bungalow you are in. Ours had 64 steps door to car, with bags and coolers that is rough. The grounds are beautiful, well maintained and full of life. " - "The broad back porch offers a view from high above the bay to the the wild foliage covering the hillside, the beach below and the islands in the distance. A full kitchen lets you enjoy breakfast and afternoon drinks while you ponder the view. The rooms are rustic, spacious, and comfortable. And very clean with beautiful wood floors and furniture.There are several quiet beaches nearby where you'll often be the only people on the beach. You can get a nice lunch at Petite Anse, a short walk away. In the evening I recommend you have Lucinda's reasonably-priced dinners in the company of fellow travelers. Rob and Lucinda are friendly, welcoming, helpful and will go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. In the high winds, one of the shutters in my room was creaking ever so slightly. I whined about it to Lucinda and she climbed a ladder and had it fixed that morning. After that, all I could hear at night was the wind in the trees and the waves crashing on the beach far below. Truly one of the nicest places I've ever stayed."

Located at Westerhall Point on the south coast. This is without doubt the premier residential peninsula on the island. The ethos of 'The Point' is security, beautiful landscaping uninterrupted by fences and with accessible open areas and five local beaches within the privacy of 'The Point'.

St George's and the airport are approximately 20 minutes drive and though most of the hotels and restaurants are located in the South West of the island, exploring the North should not be missed.

The owners keep a yacht in the bay and accessibility to all of Grenada's haul out yards make this perfect for those with their own boat.

A car is an absolute must when staying at Bobs Cottage and the owners will be happy to recommend car hire.

Bobs Cottage is within the garden of Chemin House and the owners are on hand to help with all aspects of your time in Grenada, recommending bars , beaches and restaurants, walks and activities which only local knowledge can provide.

Naturally a cold bottle of bubbles will await you and some basics will be in the kitchen. The local cell phone provided will make life easier and those little extras like beach towels , a cooler and ground throw make a trip to the beach that much more enjoyable.

The Cottage perfectly reflects the owners own lives, providing a wonderful mix of comfort in a natural environment, whilst enjoying a Caribbean way of life. Bob's Cottage is not a holiday rental but a holiday home.
