More importantly, I have stayed here several times and the staff and service professionals have always gone above and beyond to meet every need. Some have complained that there are no refunds and that is probably the only thing you will not receive from Hillview. Several people have complained about the owner's gruff demeanor but he also goes above and beyond to make sure that residents are accommodated. For the price, there are very few places worth a stay more than Hillview in Grenada. Also, I don't know if it's just my bad luck or what but every vehicle I have rented from Hillview or elsewhere has had some major or minor issue so I will not hold that against Hillview. If you are looking for local living, a poolside retreat, and some of the most amazing views, THEN Hillview is worth a stay. "

Firstly, i arrived with "why are you here." (Obviously i have a booking.) Then i was made to stand and wait while a room was still being cleaned. When taken to the room it smealt like something had died in the room and there was a frog jumping around, which the owner killed with her slipper, 😳. The first night stay was not comfortable especially while sleeping in a room which smealt like death no airfresh would help. The next dau to my relief was offered a cleaner room not knowing id almost die in the very room. Day 2 i turn on the heating to take a hot shower, while standing in the shower i got electrocuted through the water, thank god i was standing on a rubber mat. The sound and feeling of being electrocuted in the shower was absolutely petrifying, im lucky im alive. I stood in complete disbelief that this happened, the worst part is when i could actually gather myself to speak to the owner she never even apologised showed no empathy for what had just happened in her apartments. All she done was place the blaim on last guest she had, she refused to give any sort of refund even though the first room was horrendous and the second could have taken my life. Plug sockets loose and often spark when trying to use them. If you value your life i do not recommend you stay here, i was in a death trap!! "

Also think the check in process should be better with someone meeting you at the property to let you in and the apartment doors should be numbered as it was confusing to find which apartment we were staying in. Our home is a well appointed two-storey concrete structure with three bedrooms upstairs, one of which is for guests. It is located in the south of the island on a hillside overlooking a populated area lower below and offers the ultimate in privacy. It is located within walking distance to public transportation, banks, supermarkets, shopping areas and the world famous Grand Anse beach.

The space
Guests will have full access to one bedroom, the common living areas, the kitchen, dining area, an uncovered balcony facing east and a large uncovered deck which is attached to the main house. Public transportation is readily available and the world famous Grand Anse beach is a 5 minute drive or 15 minute walk away. It is also located in close proximity of a mall and other establishments for your daily dining and entertainment. The main town, St. George's, is a 15 minute bus ride away and the fare is only US$1.00 one way.

Guest access
In addition to their bedroom and private bathroom, guests will have full access to the kitchen, dining room, sitting rooms, balcony, and uncovered deck, which is just gorgeous in the moonlight. Watching the moon rise over the hills is a special moment to enjoy.
