- "My husband and I have stayed in Podpec for one week.The house was exactly as we found and saw it on the website. The garden is beautiful! It was big enough for the both of us. We only used the bathroom on the ground floor,so there is still place. The hosting was perfect and we felt really comfortable.We had time for us,but also could go to Neva and her husband if we need help,had questions or just wanted to talk :) From the house you can do a lot of hikings.You can directly start from the house and can hike to the castle you see on the picture.There you have a beautiful view over the ocean and the hills. We did three hiking tours around 15-20 km and they all have been interesting and needed normal condition. There are churches to visit,caves,historical monuments and it is very close to the border of Italy and Croatia. The ocean is 20-30 minutes away with the car. There are also many restaurants but you have to drive there,because it’s too far (minimum 1 hour) to walk. You have everything you need to cook at yourself in the house. Beautifully renovated cottage with three bedrooms and a terrace in the village of Bohinjska Bela, only 5 minutes away from Bled and 15 minutes from Bohinj.
The entrance is on the ground floor. There is also a master bedroom with a large bathroom and a utility room with a washing machine and dryer.
On the first floor there is a bright living room with a dining area and a nicely equipped kitchen with access to a terrace with barbecue and an outdoor table and chairs, so you can sit in the shade of the covered terrace.

First: They are a really nice, grounded couple that you enjoy to spend your time with and when we had a question about using the fireplace they came around late in evening to help us out. Second: They originally built the house for themselves and you can simply see that in every detail, starting at the amount of equipment you can find in the kitchen up until the quality of components they used. This is rocksolid and luxurious. Surrounding: It is located in the countryside outside of Ljubljana in Raktina so we did daytrips to Trieste and Ljubljana, which is always worth it. My friends also went to the local pub in Rakitna and were invited by the owner and ohter guests to drink several "Schnapps". The house sleeps 8 people comfortably. A spacious entrance hall greets you, off the hall is the large living room with its original beamed ceiling, comfortable sofa, armchairs, a wood burning fireplace, satellite TV and DVD player, the dining area and fully equipped kitchen. There is also a pantry/utility room with washing machine. There is also a full bathroom on this floor too.

The terrace has been furnished with comfortable seating, armchairs and a built in BBQ area.

The Kitchen and pantry are fully equipped to provide guests with everything necessary for a comfortable stay, including a large fridge/freezer, coffee machine, 4 ring stove and oven, dishwasher and microwave.
All the bedrooms have been individually decorated using beautiful fabrics and gorgeous bed linens. They also boast glorious views of the gardens and surrounding mountains.

On the top floor is the elegant loft bedroom with the best views in the house. There are a further 3 bedrooms (2 double and one with 2 single beds) and a shared family bathroom.

Beyond the surrounding garden, the grounds are there for you to explore with streams and waterfalls to be discovered on the wooded mountain side.
A high chair and travel cot are also available for your use.

Despite its quiet location, the house is just ten minutes drive from the main villages of Dovje and Mojstrana where there is a supermarket and local restaurant,s/bars. More extensive shopping and restaurants can be found in Kranjska Gora, approximately 20 minutes drive away.

It should be pointed out that the last 5km of the road to the house is not a tarmac road, but the road is fine for all cars but not be appropriate for very low sports cars.

The famous dry Slovenian ham (Karst prosciutto) is being produced there, in the Karst region. Our guests will be able to visit several places on the Karst Plateau where this exquisite produce of this area is being cured. The vicinity of the Adriatic Sea guarantees that you will enjoy the taste of good fish and other seafood.

If you don't care for anything we are suggesting, you can simply stay at home, enjoy yourself relaxing in the courtyard or have a barbeque, prepare some jam from locally grown fruit or make preserves for the winter. Just 8 km out of Ljubljana city center where city meats nature we placed four beautiful high class houses on a riverbank of Sava. All are completely made out of wood - environmentaly friendly and offer very positive feeling for guests. They are fully equiped, so visitors just need to bring food/drinks and slippers to start enjoying nature. On the other side all vital infrastructure is on hand within reach from 50 to 200m (market, bank, post-office, pharmacy, bus station, etc.). So welcome!

Welcome to our home.

Our house is located right on the edge of Stara Fužina in a quiet and sunny part of the village, just a 20-minute walk away from Lake Bohinj.

This double room features a double bed (140x200 cm), a flat screen TV with 235 channels, a table, two chairs, a small library and a large window with views of the nearby pasture and Mount Studor. The room is oriented towards the north, so it gets a lot of sunshine in the morning. The bathroom is on the same floor and is shared with another guest room (max 2 other guests).

Coffee, tea and cookies are available throughout the day. There is a shared fridge in the hallway which you can use as well. You are welcome to use our kitchen and outdoor gas-fired grill upon request (up to one hour per day).

The house is surrounded by a big garden, where we also grow some vegetables. On a hot day you can relax in the shade of our vine where you can find some chairs and a table.

We have a wooden shed with an infrared sauna which you can use privately after a strenuous hike or on a chilly rainy day. There is an extra charge of 10€ per visit and a time limit of two hours.

The rental includes the use of two mountain bikes with helmets and locks. Our house is located only 150 m away from a scenic cycling route which runs along the Sava River between Stara Fužina and Bohinjska Bistrica.

Free WiFi is available throughout the house and garden.

Upon arrival every guest must provide an ID-card or a passport for identification. Guest registration in Slovenia is mandatory by law.

There are cats living in our house and garden, please consider this if you might be allergic to cat hair.

The beds are equipped with down pillows. If you might be allergic to down, please inform us in advance and we will find another solution.

The room is located on the upper floor, which is only accessible by stairs.

The cottage is located on the Priložnik vineyard. It is located 2km from the most beautiful beach on the Kolpa. Cottage includes a large space for socializing, a children's bedroom with two beds and a bedroom with a double bed and a kitchen. When you book you are alone, no other guest or owners in cottage. There are many cycling routes, places to try local food and entertainment nearby. It is possible to rent bicycles and canoes. All our guests receive a welcome drink.
