- "Overall I loved the place but there are some serious considerations if you are thinking of staying. The economy room is well ... Very basic to say the least. I had to fix some of the fittings myself but after half an hour then shower worked as intended. The room is really not suitable if you are over 6 feet tall due to the low ceilings. The nightlife is simply great with live music most nights but don't expect to get to sleep before 1am. The breakfast is basic but sufficient. Evening meals at the hotel are better than the rest of town and with 2 drinks are very reasonably priced. The staff are great and eager to support although I find the lack of English unusual as we represent a big proportion of their clientele. Google translate comes in handy. The hotel is in the heart of the old town with easy access to everything. Simply superb. The real fly in the ointment was the lack of water for 2 consecutive days. It was down to ongoing renovation work at the castle and although not the fault of the hotel, 2 days without running water in 40c temperatures was an absolute nightmare. Despite the last comment, if you avoid the economy room and wait until the works on the castle is complete I am sure you will love the place. I had a great time and would book again if only to meet up with the wonderful staff. "

I have stayed in and worked at many hotels, and I am still working in this industry, so I know the procedures very well. This behavior is completely unacceptable. I did not pay for a staff member to shout at and scold me in the morning. I went to the reception to speak with a manager, but there was none. Only the receptionist listened to me, but nothing was done. No one apologized for this gross disrespect or followed up with me. It was the worst accommodation experience I've ever had."

- "Previously, there was a Erkek Konak pansiyon,now the hostel has 2 bathrooms for 20 guests, and if don't pay attention to them in time, there may be negative consequences. After the slogan “In music we trust”and large musical speakers, one can't be surprised that it can't be quiet here at night. But to relax, it's better to choose another street, as the nearby bars are also quite loud, even to turn off the music here. This is a relatively quiet 2-bed room at the end of the corridor; the sound is most felt in the 4-bed room, which is located above the speakers, where you can feel not only the sound, but also the vibration through the whole body, which is reflected in the chandelier, which tinkles accordingly. Cansu combines the responsibilities of an administrator, a concierge and a maid: she registers guests, helps them settle in and keeps the rooms clean. After cleaning and making beds in the room, Cansu took out a large10-liter bag of garbage with her own hands without help. Unfortunately, she didn't remember my name, while after two days of stay, I extended the stay further. Although the hostel is declared as non-smoking, unfortunately, some guests smoke in the cooking room, which does not protect the interests of non-smokers, but can also be a fire hazard, since there are a lot of wooden materials! While there are no locks on the doors, people who don't live here,unfortunately, come to the 2 floor,especcialy when toilet in the bar was closed! Thanks for the hospitality!"
