Normal checkin time should be 5pm and i was at the hostel around 5 pm with my luggage after 20min of walk from harbour. Owner hanged a message to the door indicating that he was on the beach and will come at 7pm, please look your email for checkin instructions! Not suprisingly i didnt get any email prior my arrival. - "Hosts offered to pickus up at airport. Accepted offer but no show. Cutlery supplied 2 cups 2 plastic glasses. We puchased crockery and cutlery. No hot water for 5 days, therefore no shower. Kettle died, replacement disgusting full of scale and leaked. Aircon didnot work a lot of noise for nil. Left cleaning solution in cups but no rinsing. I drank water from the cup not realising this and it took my mouth and tongue 2 days to get over burn. No response. Always will "look into " Finally told " be out by 11". Good location but hosts have a lot to learn . We are not difficult people stayed in many places but we have had such a disinterested attitude from hosts. Not even a teaspoon supplied...we puchased everything. Location good, room okay but could have given so much more without a lot of effort. Still disappointed with attitude of host and having to complain, something we have never had to do."
