We loved the pool and the view is superb!" - "We had such a relaxing time at Villa Semele, so relaxing that we didn't stray too far from the villa for our entire stay. The views looked amazing online but really do take your breath away, and are a perfect back drop to the wonderful pool which was both large and deep enough to suit two older teens. The villa itself is simple but elegant and has everything you might need, all to a very high standard. It's an easy drive from the airport and although there are plenty of things to do (a car is a must) with only a week's stay we tended to stay poolside and then hit the beach late afternoon. The restaurant fare is quite simple but the village taverna in Nerotrivia was lovely and the staff attentive and friendly. We definitely plan to return and explore the region a little further, and would stay at the villa again in a heartbeat. Truly fabulous!"

- "We can only agree with previous reviews. The property is beautiful, clean, quiet and well maintained. Despite the hot period at the end of July, the lawn and plants were green and full of blossoms. The view in reality is even wider and more idyllic than in the photos. The kids jumped into the pool two or three times per day, explored the property or built up relations to little praying mantises while we adults read books or cooked. After one week Antonis came by to check the quality of the pool. Go to Bakoutis tavern at the nearby village! I think we rarely had such a peaceful and relaxed vacation. Thank you, Antonis, for a wonderful time!"

The property is located 14 km from the port of Gavrio, in the small settlement of Vitali, on the northeastern side of the island. Vitali is well known for its beautiful beach, just 4 km from the house. At the beach, you will find a traditional tavern and an all-day café-bar serving fresh fruit juices, drinks, and light snacks.

Vitali is a traditional village with old farmhouses. Although it comes alive in the summer, when owners return to open up their homes for the holiday season, it remains a peaceful place surrounded by tranquil natural beauty.

Water: Please use water with respect as there are no natural springs on this island and the water supply system as in every island is not very operative. So the Beach house as with most houses in Santorini utilizes high quality filtered rain water. Tap water can be used for washing, bathing, brushing your teeth, washing fruits and vegetables. However, it is advised that you drink bottled mineral water.

- "This apartment was exactly what we had hoped for - 30 seconds walk from a beautiful black beach with lots of open area. The apartment is lovely - very clean and has everything you need down to a few nice touches such as beach toys (bat/ball, some inflatables), towels. There are very good cooking and laundry facilities. The veranda is really nice, allowing us to sit outside in the evening. It has comfy seats and plenty of space for the whole family. The checkin was a delight with Kostas' parents taking us through everything and making sure we have everything we need. Check out was equally as easy with the parents arriving to see that everything was ok and wish us well on our way. We were 5 - 2 adults and 2 teens and a child and all were very comfortable. I really do recommend this place to anyone - couple wanting quiet getaway to family wanting a nice safe place to stay with plenty of restaurants, mini-markets and a fab beach away from the main crowds. We used buses to get around with the nearest stop in Perivolos - about 10 mins walk away Our tip - walk to Perissa if you want more action during the day and then come back to the tranquility of the beach house later."

A 10L container of drinking water was provided and he even gave us a bottle of wine from is own grapes. The stone built studio is cosy, homely and private. We never tired of the view across the valley. There are no shops or tavernas in the village and car hire is recommended. However, we chose not to hire a car just for the couple of days that we stayed there and we didn't find this to be a problem. The roads were reasonably quiet and made for pleasant walking either up to Taverna Nikolas, further up the valley or down to shops and restaurant Enlefko, and others, in Vari on the coast."

Meet the sheltered little patio with its lavenders and the emblematic palm tree, a hospitable spot any time of day. “Skepana” is the word we use in Syros for any part of the house whose orientation keeps it protected from the wind, the rain or the hot sun, and there is no better description for this patio.

On the ground floor you will find the living room, the kitchen, the bathroom and the bedroom with its double bed. A marble table dining suite, a kerosene lamp with a turquoise opal glass and ceramic art objects give this space its distinguishing character.

Climb the wooden ladder in the living room and you will find yourself on a loft, a favourite spot with all of our guests, little or grown-up. The view of the surrounding farm and sounds echoing from the village will make you reluctant to leave this little “nest at the top”.

There is more chance for play in the backyard under the palm tree, where a stone table, scattered logs, various toys and a swing hanging from an inviting olive tree await our little friends.

Our traditional cottage is located in Larniotissa, 4 km from the center of PIgadia and 1 km from Larniotissa Church. It is surrounded by a vivid green forest and has spectacular sea view. Beyond Larniotissa church, following the road ( 1km no asphalt road) you will admire the green forest while reaching our cottage. There you can enjoy the calmness and tranquility of the green environment combined with the blue sea. Is appropriate for outdoor activities such as walking, running and hiking.

At night the view of the sky full of stars is amazing, there are few lights nearby. The house has an AC, which is very welcome on hot days. The house stays quite cool due to the very thick walls and small windows, but if it is very hot and stays hot during the night, you will need the AC. The owners are very friendly and will do everything to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Upon arrival there was a bottle of wine and a home baked cake, and later they provided us with olives and olive oil."

The sea is visible but the house is not by the sea. It is a ten minute drive to the beach by car or moped. This eco and one of a kind, cottage is a time capsule back in the agricultural Karpathian living. It is suitable for guests who want to have the full experience of the old traditional lifestyle of the island. You will be amazed by the old clay ceiling and the open-air medieval windows.
Our cottage was build in 1900 and renovated in 2019. It is stone-build with wooden ceiling. The interior is traditional Karpathian deco with the traditional Karpathian bedroom ''sofas'' (where there is a double mattress on which two people can sleep). Many elements were kept traditional as they were many years ago.

It is located in a very convenient position 3,5 km from Menetes, 4 km from the town of Karpathos and 2,5 km from the nearest beach Amoopi. It is also 12,5 km from the airport.

The cottage is nicely placed on a hill with amazing view. It is recommended for 2 people.
