East canava can comfortably accommodate 4 guests in two vaulted bedrooms, a bathroom accessible through a corridor with antique furniture and mirror and an open plan living room with kitchen and panoramic views to the caldera.

The east canava main bedroom is carved into the rock with a comfortable queen size built-in four poster bed, secluded as a separate living area with its own indoor windows and door, in a fashion typical of traditional santorinian houses. With its inner windows open the bedroom can enjoy sea views while closing the inner windows and door creates a more romantic atmosphere.

The east canava guest bedroom has a double wrought iron bed that gives pillow view to the sea. Both rooms have access to a spacious living room with antique furnitures and a fully equipped kitchen. They share a large cave style bathroom with rainfall shower. There is a table and summer umbrella in the courtyard as well as loungers for sunbathing by the pool.

The Main canava can accommodate up to 4 guests in 2 separate bedrooms and is built between the east and west canavas.

A very spacious dining room, shed with ample natural light welcomes our guests with its large monastery style table which can comfortably sit 12 guests. The kitchen is carved in the rock and designed as a separate area with easy access to the dining hall. Two circular pits in the floor used for treading grapes during wine making have been preserved, covered with glass and are beautifully lit, adding to the special character of this place.

There are two high vaulted ceiling bedrooms in main canava, each with its own en-suite bathroom. One is especially large room carved into the volcanic rock, with a comfortable built-in queen size bed, dressing area with mirror and a large cave style bathroom with bathtub and rainfall shower.

The second bedroom has a comfortable double wrought iron bed, antique furniture, mirror and its own en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower.

A large Suite with high vaulted ceiling bedroom and living room is situated at the upper level.

The suite's living room enjoys uninterrupted panoramic views to the caldera, the volcano and the Aegean sea through its three large windows. It offers an open plan kitchen with double sofa-bed and connects to the main bedroom through a wooden door. Dionyssos Cave House is a recently renovated and very spacious cave house, partly carved in the volcanic rock face. It is located in Oia, on the cliff peak close to the Venetian castle, where everybody gathers to watch Oia’s famous sunset. Due to its unique location, Dionyssos Cave House offers unobstructed views of the caldera and the volcanoes and is only a 2 minutes walk away from Oia’s main street, where all the restaurants and shops are situated.

Dionyssos Cave House is a two-storey house that offers the ideal comfort and privacy to a party of up to 8 guests. The first level, which is the main part of the house, offers a spacious living room, a dining area and a fully equipped kitchen that also features a Nespresso coffee maker. The two bedrooms are also situated on the first level. Each bedroom offers a double bed and an en suite bathroom. The one bedroom offers two built in couches as well, that can sleep two extra guests. Furthermore, the first level features a terrace with exquisite views over the caldera, which is the perfect spot for having meals while gazing at the view. - "Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Menia's cave. Harry and Elizabth were prompt in all correspondence and making sure we were well informed. Check in was smooth and the porter helped us with the luggage. We unfortunately had 4 bags so had to help with 2 of the bags which was understandable and doable (we have strapping 20-year-old boys) but something folks should be aware off if they have more luggage and may need more than one porter. The house is midway on the main Oia market stretch and probably halfway down the stairs which makes the location ideal. Very central. Lots of good restaurants close by. Sunset view just around the corner- though not from the house itself. Views from the porch of the caldera were spectacular. The house is cozy- 2 small bedrooms and a living room and kitchen. The second bedroom was too small for our two 20-year-olds so one used the bedroom and one the couch. But easily manageable. Only one bathroom (and we were aware of it) so that can be a challenge for some. Well equipped kitchen for making breakfast and tea/coffee. Elizabeth- the property manager was available on WhatApp and sent us things to do/places to visit/restaurants to try- and made bookings when we asked. Always available to help- not pushy-no commissions etc. Pure help! Parking in Oia is a bit of a challenge and we had some challenges here since we had a rental car and had to drive around a bit to find a place in some of the dusty/sandy parking lot. Yet, large families and groups of friends can rent both villas, providing a perfect setting to enjoy the beauty of Santorini together! This spacious house provides the unique occasion to live in a private property that combines comfort and privacy. It is crucial to point out that there is an easy entrance to the Villa (the car reaches 10-15 meters from its entrance) with no endless footpaths, uphill and hard to navigate stairs to reach your accommodation. There is a big free parking place 2 minutes walking distance from the house. The Villa is located very close to Nomikos Conference Center, St. John Catholic Cathedral, St. Stylianos Church and the Cable Car entrance, while it is at a walking distance (5 – 6 minutes) from the center of Fira (the capital of Santorini) and all the mini markets, cafes, restaurants, bars and night clubs. There is a convenient public transportation from the central square of Fira serving all places of the island.

The airport and the port are about 6-8 km away from the property (15-20 min by car/taxi). A special minivan transfer service from/to the airport/port could be arranged.

Villa Dakoronia is a beautifully renovated Theran villa, located on the cliff ridge along the traditional caldera path between Fira and Firostefani. It offers stunning views of the Caldera and the Aegean Sea. The villa is in a peaceful spot, just 90 meters from the cable car and 80 meters from Nomikos Convention Center, yet only a short walk from Fira’s restaurants, shops, and nightlife.

This 90 sq. m. villa was originally a family summer home and can host up to six guests. It has two comfortable bedrooms with queen-size beds and two bathrooms. It is just 400 m. from the village, but so far enough away from “civilization” to be peaceful and the same time quiet. Ammoudi bay is just in walking distance, as well as Katharos beach. From Ammoudi bay you can swim at St.Nicolas Island and rent inflatable boat or arrange a sailing tour, get a trip to Volcano and Thirasia Island or just around Caldera.
This elegant house comes highly recommended and features well-appointed accommodation. It was built to a high standards and is traditionally designed, throughout with much attention to detail. The use of traditional stone and some of the best materials have been included throughout the design and have been used in harmony with the environment! Accessibility:
The villa is accessible by car with private parking area and doesn't require hard walk at steps of Caldera. Therefore, you have to consider the internal stairs, which drive you to the lower floor and the loft bedroom. People with mobility problems will face difficulties. Coast/Beach/Swimming:
Katharos beach is accessible by walking (10 minutes). The fabulous Ammoudi small harbor with fishing boats, waterfront taverns and restaurant & St.Nicolas Island is accessible by walking (10 minutes) or by car (3 minutes). Ammoudi is one of the most beautiful spots in Santorini. Get off at the foot of red rock for swimming and also to enjoy fresh fish at the taverns and restaurants. The villa has a private swimming pool, where you can swim in front of one of the best views to the Sunset!

Distances:
'Swinging Sunset Villa' is located 400 m. from Oia village, 30 minute drive from Fira town, 45 minute drive from Santorini airport (17 km) and 40 minute drive from Athinios port (15km). During your stay in Santorini it is recommended to hire a car for easy access throughout the island.

Travel:
Santorini can be reached by air from Athens with two flights per day or by ferry from Piraeus with frequent departures through the year. During the summer period there are additional flights between Santorini and other islands, and charter flights from abroad. There are also nautical connections between Santorini and many other Cyclades islands, Dodecanese, Crete and Thessaloniki.
Santorini can be reached from most international airports via Athens. Athens is served by the Athens International Airport Eleftherios Venizelos and from Athens you can fly to Santorini airport (Thira). Nearly all international flights arriving in Greece allow adequate time for making the connecting flight to Santorini, but because local flights have a minimum seating capacity, please book these flights early.

Travel to Santorini by boat from the Port of Piraeus:
For those participants having extra time, there is a regular ferry boat service to Santorini from Piraeus offering a relaxing, pleasant journey. The cost is reasonable and takes an average of eight to nine hours. In addition there is also the solution of the speedy boats, which make this journey in five hours. Advanced reservations are not usually required on the ferry boats. For exact times, call Piraeus port authorities at: + 30 210 422 6000.

Santorini Transportation:
There are 2 ways to move around Santorini, if you do not have a car or a scooter: the public bus and the taxi. There are connections for every village and on summer time there is a bus every 30 minutes, with the last one at midnight. On winter, the bus runs every 1 hour and the last one is around 9 pm. The central us station is in Fira next to the taxi station. Also keep in mind that the public transportation buses are green. Any other color you will see they are tourist buses. The buses here do not have automatic machines, so you have to have money with you to pay the collector. Maximum cost per ride is 2 euro per person, depending where you are going.
The taxis are available on winter, but extremely hard to find on summer therefore we strongly recommend booking your transportation before you arrive. If you want to try your luck you can try book a taxi, if you go to the central square of Fira.

One of a group of 3 exclusive detached villas in a peaceful location easily reached from the main Rhodes-Lindos road. The villa sits on a hillside with spectacular panoramic views including the famous Tsambika beach and monastery and a broad expanse of blue Aegean Sea.
It is a well appointed and impressive property, tastefully furnished and styled in modern design and with a swimming pool (heated on request - contact owner for details). The ground floor comprises an open plan living and dining area and a double bedroom with bathroom. The spiral marble staircase leads to the second floor where there is the large master bedroom with ensuite bathroom and two twin bedrooms served by a family bathroom. All rooms open onto balconies, decking or patios with sea views. (Note - the villa is designed to sleep 8 but has a maximum occupancy of 9 - with an additional fold out bed and/or cot. Please enquire if you wish to accommodate 9 adults for details). The villa is fully air conditioned. The kitchen is equipped with a full range of modern appliances. There is large screen TV system with Netflix, Bluray/DVD, AppleTV. Unlimited wireless internet are available for guest use. Please note that the £14 per night Administrative Fee corresponds to the 15 Euros Climate Resilience Tax, which we pay to the Greek government, so there is no need for our guests to pay this fee locally.
The villa is set on a three quarter acre plot with spacious private gardens featuring olive, citrus fruit and conifer trees and a variety of shrubs and a small established pine wood. There is a large, private swimming pool with spacious tiled sun decks equipped with plenty of sunbeds, chairs and sun umbrellas. There is a BBQ and pagoda. Two large granite tables provide the option of fine dining either in the shade of the pagoda or the decking. There is parking space for up to 3 cars.
The location of the villa, midway along the popular east coast, could not be better to fully enjoy the island. The famous Tsambika beach is a short drive down the hill (or walk for the more adventurous); this is widely regarded as the best on the island with a kilometre of golden sand fully equipped with beach facilities and water sports. This is overlooked by the spectacular and historic hilltop Tsambika monastery. There are numerous local tavernas. The Panorama Restaurant, with its spectacular views of Tsambika beach and monastery, is only 10 minutes walk away. Rhodes Town is 25 minutes drive with its famous medieval walled old town and picturesque harbour. The beautiful village of Lindos is 20 minutes drive in the opposite direction. The local town of Archangelos is 5 minutes drive and offers a full range of shops and facilities. The airport is 30 minutes drive. Other picturesque beach resorts within easy reach include Haraki, Stegna and Kolymbia. There is easy access to the beautiful central mountain region with its tiny villages clinging to the hillsides. An 18 hole golf course is 10 minutes away.
A car is considered essential to fully enjoy a holiday at the villa.
We are proud to offer the villa on a self catering basis for others to enjoy for parts of the year when we are not enjoying it ourselves. It is ideal for couples, families or groups of friends.
We have installed our own solar system (we are able to do this as the grounds are very extensive) and this generates sufficient electricity to enable us to be net exporters to the grid, so helping to protect the environment.

This lovely modern villa is one of only eight in an exclusive development; it is set in a peaceful location with spectacular unending views overlooking the Psalidi mountains and olive groves. It is only a short drive to several of the wonderful beaches on the East side of the island.

The property consists of an open plan ground floor lounge area with a large comfortable sofa to relax on a dining table and chairs, a flat screen satelite TV, DVD player, Ipod docking station and free WiFi. The newly built (2025) kitchen is equipped with a full range of modern appliances which includes a large fridge/freezer, washing machine, cooker with oven and grill, a coffee machine and a microwave.

Our villa is a two-story, traditional, luxurious maisonette of 80 sqm with an outdoor area of 250 sqm. On the ground floor there is a large Double Bed (sofa with normal mattress), one single Sofa Bed, a bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen. On the first floor where the main bedroom is, there is another large double Queen Sized Bed, one more single sofa bed, a bathroom and additionally the indoor heated jacuzzi, overlooking the Caldera and the Sunset. But the real difference maker was our host, Panos, and the attention and care he provided prior to our arrival, the phone call assisting us with the last few meters in finding the villa to how he was immediately responsive and attentive to any request we made. For example help with dinner recommendations and reservations. Or how about on our first morning and we tried to make a small breakfast on the stove and the unit failed (and reached the end of its useful life) and a new stove was installed within 3-4 hrs. Or how he increased the water temp for the interior jacuzzi or had the outdoor pool cleaned mid-stay. We were amazed at just how quickly he responded to us as if we were his sole purpose and focus for our time there. What is the rating of stars for "off the chart?" Would we go back? We are already looking at the possibility. It was the only way we could depart otherwise it would have been too difficult. Also, if we do make it back there we would ask Panos to see if he could provide a mattress topper as our only issue was that the mattress was very firm. Of course, we were able to manage by getting up and getting in the jacuzzi which eased all the little aches and pains! This property and its host are amazing!!"

A few words about the property

"Kamari" in greek means "Pride".

Kamari Villa was built in 2007 on the South West coast of Naxos, Island of Apollo and Ariadne.
The villa is 18 km away from Naxos town ( Chora ), approximately 20-25 min. drive on the main road.
In the middle of a 4000 m2 property (half of which is planted with Olive trees), the house is only 150m away from a 3 km beach , (extending all the way to Mikri Vigla).
The traditional Greek island element, that can be sensed straight away by the visitor, is enhanced by the presence of an 17th century white Chapel, that luckily exists inside the property. The owner has made sure that the little dream like church has it's own entrance and stone built back yard where ceremonies can take place.
The only natural boundary separating the villa from the shore, is a beautiful salt lake (Aliki). Many different species of birds use the lake as a shelter, making the landscape even more unique.
The cedar forest of the greater area is well known as one of the biggest and most interesting in Europe and tourists all over the world visit this natural attraction of almost 800000 square meters, just to enjoy the view of trees coming out of the sand. Due to this forest, the whole area is protected by EU Natura 2000 program, as a wild life shelter and therefore, hunting and free camping is forbidden all year long.
Although, just a few miles away from the most touristic beaches of Naxos ( Ag. Prokopios, Ag. Anna, Plaka, etc. ), Kamari Villa is located in one of the most peaceful, quiet and private areas of the South coast, where the guest has the luxury of totally relaxing, living in nature, without missing out on any of the contemporary comforts.
It would not be an exaggeration to say that in many cases, one could enjoy a morning or late evening swim in the beach in front of the villa, completely by themselves…
Moreover, the guest has access to quite a few other beaches in walking distances (500m-1.5 km), varying from private little bays surrounded by rocks, to long sandy beaches next to the cedar forest.
Kamari Villa was built according to the rules of Cycladic architecture and was decorated by the owner himself in a minimal style that is inspired by the old, traditional houses, found in two of the most beautiful and historical mountain villages of Naxos: Apiranthos and Filoti (the village that the owner originates from).
The Villa consists of 3 separate two room apartments , 1 huge shared living room, 1 playing room, 1 little warehouse, 2 large closed verandas and 1 big terrace covered with pergola on the ground floor, 2 covered balconies and 1 open air terrace on the 1st floor.
The different verandas, balconies and terraces offer a truly breathtaking view of the sunset, the Aegean sea, the salt lake and the island of Paros, right opposite to where the property is, making the whole living experience, simply unforgettable .
All areas (400 sq. meters in total) are available and can be used by the guests.
Each one of the three apartments (2 of them on the 1st floor and 1 on the ground floor), has its own entrance and consists of a large bedroom w/ queen size double beds, one bathroom w/shower and one studio room with fully equipped kitchen and additional single, bunk or sofa beds.
The 1st floor apartments have got their own private balconies.
The main living room (80 sq. meters) has also got a separate bathroom, a fully equiped kitchen with pass and access to 3 different verandas, one of which can be used as an outdoor dining room.
There is also an indoor dining area, a TV/lounge area and a library/music/chill out area.
The main living room is connected to the upper floor apartments with an indoor staircase.
Finally, in the playing room, located in the basement, guests can enjoy table tennis all day long in a safe environment with a separate bathroom and kitchenette.
Even though, the fresh Northern Cycladic breeze is more than enough to keep the house cool all through the summer, all bedrooms and main living room are fully air conditioned.
Wi-Fi broadband internet is available in all main areas of the villa.
The ground floor apartment and main living room are wheelchair accessible.
The house is equipped with TV sets in every apartment and a Smart 40” TV in the main living room, a mini stereo hi-fi system, blue ray DVD player and of course all indispensible household appliances (Washing machine,dish washing machine, filter coffee and espresso coffee machines, multi blender, water boiler, micro wave oven, 2 electrical ovens, 5 refrigerators etc.).
There is a -large enough for 7 cars- private parking area within the property.
Although we strongly recommend that you rent a car, which will be useful for your daily excursions (Naxos is the biggest Cycladic island and it really takes days if not weeks to explore all its beauties), there is public transportation every hour from 8 am-8 pm and a bus that takes you to Naxos town. A bus stop is right outside the property, on the main road. A very nice market is just 100m away ready to serve your everyday shopping needs and stays open from 8am to 10pm.
The guests can have lunch or dinner at one of the 5 taverns nearby, (2 of which in walking distance), including the famous “Axiotissa” tavern, just 3 min drive from the house, which has been voted by critics as one of the best taverns in Greece.
All restaurants offer delicious traditional dishes (Naxos is well known for its great cuisine) all cooked with fresh Naxian products.
For your everyday needs, there is a mini market, just 150 meters from the house.
The owner is a music writer, orchestrator and record producer, living in Athens and speaks fluent English and adequately good French.
He will be available and more than happy to provide any kind of information needed regarding the house, the area and life in Naxos in general.
He strongly believes that the actual feeling of living in this home cannot be described by words or captured by any photographic lense.

The house is in front of Paros and very close to a beach where you will see lot of kite surfers. There are several others beaches very close (less than 10 mins with scooter or car) which are the most beautiful of the Island according to me. The house is 25 mins from the airport or 35 mins from the port but there is a minimarket at 100m which is just perfect with everything. You can go there with the eyes closed. Enjoy !"

- "We loved our stay here! There were six of us women from three generations of our family ranging in ages 25 to 80. We rented the entire villa and all three separate apartments were united by the outdoor courtyard. The apartments were well furnished, clean and offered daily maid service. The bathrooms were large and offered all the amenities. The air conditioning worked very well and we were never uncomfortable. We gathered at the pool every afternoon after mornings of touring or beaching. We upgraded to a small minivan and were able to navigate the area easily. The car park is less than three minutes away and very accessible. The restaurants right in the middle of Megalochori were a minute away and offered so many great places to eat. Takis, the owner, was available to answer any questions and checked on us regularly. Constantinos, the concierge, greeted us on arrival, answered our questions and made restaurant reservations for us. He went above and beyond! He also told us what day to visit Oia based on how many cruise ships were in port so it would not be so crowded. I would completely recommend this lovely villa to anyone wanting to have a traditional Greek village experience. You are five minutes by car from Fira, if you want lots of hustle and bustle. If you have a group of six, rent the entire place and spread out! This was a perfect place for our family stay on Santorini."
