Facilities - Inside the villa

The open plan ground floor has a living room with a corner sofa bed and satellite TV. Also the living room is equipped with a fireplace. Leading off this there is a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, a big dining area, the hamam room and the jacuzzi hot tub. There are two ground floor bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two twin bed, three bathrooms, one with a corner bath/shower/WC and two with a shower/WC. There is also a washing machine on the hall area.

On the first floor there are a further three bedrooms, the first with one double bed and a single bed and the other two with one double bed each. There are further three showers/WC. All of the bedrooms open up to either a balcony or a sun terrace with patio furniture offering a variety of views over the magnificent surrounding countryside - the Kourtaliotis gorge, all the way to the sea. All bedrooms have air conditioning for free. For cooler spells the house is also equipped with central heating for extra local charge.

The villa is actually two independent attached houses that you can rent as one! It is a two story building in the total of 180 sq. meters and furnished in a modern and minimal style, it can accommodate 12 people in beds. Staying in our villa offers you the advantage of both having vacations with friends and having your private place for you and your own family at the same time.

The villa is located only 2 km away from the organised sandy beach of Souda and 1.2 km away from the unorganised Fotinari Beach.

Entering each building, on the first floor there is a spacious open plan area which consisting of the living room with 45 smart TV with Netflix and Bluetooth speaker, the indoor dinning area and a fully equipped kitchen of top quality fixtures. From the living room area there is a direct access to the veranda with outdoor dining table. There is also a WC with shower. In addition, on the top of the living room area there is a loft which has 2 single beds, which can also be joined together to form a double bed if needed.

Reaching the ground floor from stairs, guests can find the 2 bedrooms and a bathroom with bathtub. Both bedrooms have direct access to the pool and barbecue area. One of the bedrooms has a double bed and the other one has 2 single beds, which can also be joined together to form a double bed based on your preferences.

Pearl Villas are located in Plakias area that is set towards the centre of a large bay enclosed within the arms of mountains, on the south coast. The unspoilt breathtaking landscape of Plakias make it an ideal holiday destination for guests seeking total relaxation. Plakias is a popular tourist resort. Originally a very small and quiet fishing village, and it now offers a range of amenities, as well as is renowned for it’s natural beauty, providing all the facilities that a visitor could wish for. Along the main road of the village there are several supermarkets, bakeries, ATM machines, post office, a doctor’s office, restaurants, tavernas, cafes and beach bars while on the beach there are tamarisk trees, water sports, beach volley courts, snack bars and other shops offer a very wide range of products, including local and traditional goods.

The beach is sandy and very well organised with sun beds, umbrellas, changing rooms, showers, etc. The rocks surrounding the beach are ideal for fishing and snorkelling, as well. The road along the beach is also ideal for walking or cycling.

Plakias makes a good starting point for walks along the coast to Souda, or up into the encircling hills to other villages such as Sellia or Mirthios, which boasts spectacular sea views out to sea. A good coastal motor track runs west beyond Plakias, leading to Souda, Rodakino, Frangokastello and Sfakia beaches. There are plenty of walks locally, and bolder walkers will enjoy the high green countryside beyond the coastal mountain range north of town. - "Great" - "From the moment we booked Pearl Villas to our very last day, the owners (Mr. Michalis and co) went above and beyond. We are a family of 6 (3 couples and a baby), having three bathrooms and 3 rooms really was important to us. This villa offered just that. We stayed in Villa |||, you have a great view of the beach from here. The villa has everything you need: bbq, toaster, coffee machine, hair dryers in each room, beach towels, high chair, safe, dressing gowns, cot etc. The fridge had milk, eggs, wine and more on arrival. We were also gifted more wine, olive oil and beeswax from the lovely owners - such a nice touch. One day we were given some breakfast too. The villas was immaculate, beautifully decorated with light airy rooms. Every morning the outside areas are cleaned and half way through the stay we had the villa kindly cleaned. The owners of the villas are so friendly - they really did go over and above. They do not stop working! Plakias is also a brilliant holiday destination, beach/supermarket/restaurants not even a 5 minute walk from the villas. You are spoilt for choice once you reach the harbour. A few restaurants to mention would be Apenemo, Antoni’s Place and Paligremnos (this one is the opposite end to the harbour). All of which are family run with fresh dishes. - "This is our second time to the area of southern Crete. We love that there aren’t that many tourists and no massive hotels. It’s authentic Greek. From booking to checking out it has been a dream. The management team are on it! The house itself is spacious, modern and super comfortable. The beds and linens are high quality which is a must for me. And they lived up to my expectations. I love this area of southern Crete because of the wind. Despite the high temperatures you really don’t notice because of the wind. Nothing worse than being hot. If you don’t like wind then don’t come here. At night it is a dream blowing into the bedrooms. We didn’t put our air con on once and it was 33 degrees everyday. Ground Floor
Stairs lead from the living room to the ground floor, where you can find an open plan area with a second sophisticatedly furnished living room and dining area. Also, a fully equipped kitchen with a dining area for up to 6 people can be found next to the seating area. The room also offers direct outdoor access, leading to another veranda and the pool terrace, enjoying magnificent sea vistas.
Additionally, the remaining two bedrooms of the Villa are located on the ground floor, both of them featuring two single beds each (0.90 x 2.00), which can be joined together to form a King-size bed upon request. Both offer direct access to the pool terrace. One of them has its own ensuite bathroom with a shower.

- "My family loved this villa and we had a lot of fun staying there for a week at the start if September - it was really well equipped, spacious, immaculately clean, a huge pool cleaned every day, comfortable beds, generous towels replaced mid stay, excellent showers, stunning location and lovely owners who couldn't do enough in recommending local places and sorting out the small things in the villa - even down to leaving us a new pack of playing cards. We were so impressed. Nothing was too much trouble. If the only teeny tiny niggles were the lack of a bread knife and somewhere to dry laundry, then that is pretty good! The views are stunning from every angle at all times of day - the photos don't do it justice. Open up those morning shutters from your bed and just look and look. We loved being away from the bustle of Plakias and having some peace and quiet but also being within a 15 minute drive of the town (a super place to go) , a lovely bakery, a vintage clothes shop which our teenagers loved, nearby snorkelling beaches, great restaurants, a monastery, a gorge walk and more. Gialopotamos is located about 45 km south of Rethymno city, 4 km south of the village Kerames and near exit of a small valley, where a small stream flows. The beautiful unknown beach of Gialopotamos is formed west of a small hill.
The beach is sandy with rocks in places. The rocky bottom makes it ideal for snorkeling and spearfishing. It is unorganized and appropriate for isolation. Especially, its eastern part, where huge boulders are dispersed, can be visited for naturism.
Gialopotamos can be accessed by car via asphalt road from Kerames village, at Kerame village you will find a supermarket, another supermarket you will find on the road at Spili village. The nearest tavern is at Agia foteini beach 0.8 km away.

- "We spent a great holiday in Villa Epsilon with 8 people. The modern house is very tastefully built and furnished, didn't lack for anything. The 4 bedrooms and the living room each had their own bathroom with shower. From the living room with big windows you could access a covered terrace with dining area out to the pool. There is a lounge area and a stone built BBQ. The very special infinity pool with a unique view over the mountains to the sea was our highlight. Comfortable sun beds round off the day at the pool. The only thing missing was an awning or parasol to provide some shade during the hot midday. Otherwise everything was perfect. We'd love to come back. PS: The landlords also run a tavern "Despina", which is about 1.2 km away, lovingly furnished and has a small playground in the garden: It also offers delicious Greek dishes at fair prices.
