Michael was there with warm greetings and explained everything we wanted to know. He was a wonderful host and now our friend. We rented a car to get around and that worked out well for day trips, runs to the store and to and from the airport. We picked up an inexpensive snorkel and mask and walked down to the incredible clear warm sea several times to swim off the rocks. Most of the time we ate fresh fruit, vegetables and cheese by the pool while taking in the view. The beach bars are 10 minutes away and offer two chairs and an umbrella with service for about 15 euros a day. Easy drive into Athens. We ate at the Argentinian restaurant a few times enjoying the grilled lamb and fresh Greek salads. There is little store at the end of the street you can walk to for any necessities. The house is situated right at the sea front only few meters above the sea level and has access to the beach. Right in front of the house there is the large seawater swimming pool, 20x10m and 4 meters at its deepest. The swimming pool area is fitted with all necessary facilities including umbrellas, furniture, shower, changing room etc.

It is a 2 level country house of 120 sqm area, that was built in the early 20th century and fully restored to the present condition. It is has been built out of stone and wood which makes it pittoresque. It is at an isolated location perfect to relax.

In the house there are 3 bedrooms. The first and the second bedroom have a double bed each. The third bedroom has two single beds. There is even a sofa bed at the living room. There are two bathrooms one on the upper level with a bathtub and the other on the lower level with a shower. The lower level has a living room and a fully equipped kitchen (oven, refrigerators, microwave, washing machine) which leads off the dinning area.

At the upper level there is one secluded balcony with open sea view. On the other side there is one secluded patio with an outdoor barbecue. There is also a large private outdoor pergola on the house at the front with unlimited sea view and it is ideal for dinning.

The house is fitted with Satellite TV, basic furniture, linen, towels etc ready for use.
There is even tennis court at the garden.

It takes less than 15 minutes to walk to the Ancient Temple of Poseidon, in Sounio.
The house is about 40 minutes away from the center of Athens, by car and about 20 minutes away from the Athens Airport.

The Pool is Available ONLY during the periods 25th of May until 15th of October each year

- "We spent 2 weeks between end of July and August 2023, with our family my spouse and I, my son and his girlfriend and my daughter 16 yo. Before our arrival Alexandros sent all the details we needed. We were welcomed by his keeper. She was very kind even if we couldn’t exchange in English. The house is very clean and comfortable. You can find all you need for cooking. Beds are ok, note that as all this area in Greece you can’t throw the toilet paper in the toilets. The access to the house is easy with the car. You have shadow from the garden with many palm trees. The outside is the best place: you have a very large swimming pool, and a 180•view on the sea. You can access to the sea through a door in the fence and then follow the stairs. The sea is crystal clear with many fishes, and easy to access, note that it’s not a private access but it’s never crowded. We didn’t feel the heat in this environnement. The bedrooms are equipped with air conditioner. You have many sunbeds around the pool. Wonderful holidays in a marvelous place."

The villa, designed by a well-known Greek architect, equally balances luxury and functionality, and is subtly integrated with the natural setting by extensive use of natural materials. We did not get to go because there were no openings left for the week. The house has a wonderful pool to enjoy, board games, cards, and wonderful places to sit and read. If you are traveling before June, just know that some restaurants are not open yet and the water is still pretty chilly."

Excellent view to the sea, to the island of Evia, as well as to the mountain of Penteli. Nice quiet place, ideal for families or small groups. Clean atmosphere (as it is located outside of the "Mountains Ring" of Athens. It is located on a slope full of pine trees (the end of the forest of mount Penteli ).
The villa has a surface of 350 square meters surrounded by a nice 1000 garden and equipped with everything needed for excellent staying.

A. EXTERIOR:
The house is surrounded by a garden of basically three levels:
The first level is the level of the pool. The pool is surrounded by a wooden deck. There is also enough green space with grass and decorative plants and trees.
The second level is the level of the secondary living room, the kitchen and two of the bedrooms, two bathrooms and the laundry room. Here the quests can enjoy the sun on the grass or relax, eat or play ping-pong under two protected stone verandas.
The third level of the garden is at the rear part of the house, at the level of the main living room and the gym. Here the quests can enjoy the grass or the "lodge". In the lodge there is a stone BBQ, a stone oven and a long monastery wooden table.
B. INTERIOR
The house consists of three levels and an attic.

Overview
The neighborhood around the villa is very quiet as it is a pure residential area which creates a cozy environment for relaxation, walking etc. Nevertheless at a distance of 2,5 km you can find the sea coast which bursts with life and entertainment.

At a driving time of 15 min. (15 km), the METRO station of PALLINI connects the area with the Metro Network of Attica.

Koropi is a little town with some nice restaurants and a couple of supermarkets. You can get the metro from Koropi train station twice an hour to the centre of Athens. Ma Maison Acropolis Mansion Suite N° 6 is a unique suite located in Mets (500 meters from Acropolis, 100 meters from the temple of Zeus, 100 meters from Kallimarmaro), right in the heart of Athens. This is the right place if you want to discover the city. The Marathon Run Museum The origin of the long-distance, endurance race, the 'marathon”, comes from the legend of a Greek soldier who ran in full armor from Marathon to Athens, a distance of 42 kilometers, to announce that the Persians had been miraculously defeated in the battle of Marathon.
The Museum displays 3,100 exhibits that record the history of the Marathon race from 1896 to today, constituting a unique historic sports collection.

Ramnous: The site of Ramnous was an ancient Greek city in Attica, overlooking the Euboean Strait. Its ruins are found northwest of the modern town Aghia Marina near Marathon. Ramnous was strategically significant enough to be fortified and receive an Athenian garrison of ephebes (young men). A fortified acropolis dominates the two small harbors, into which grain was imported for Athens during the Peloponnesian War. The site was known in Antiquity for its sanctuary of Nemesis, the implacable avenging goddess whose sanctuary here was the most important one dedicated to her in ancient Greece. It is located at the end of Schinias Beach.

Vravron: The Sanctuary of Artemis at Vravron is one of the earliest and most revered of the sanctuaries of Attica. An important settlement was established at the inner end of the Bay of Vravron during the Neolithic period. It flourished particularly from Middle Helladic to early Mycenaean times (2000-1600 B.C.).

- "We stayed in this lovely house for a week in mid September 2019. There were twelve of us, three generations of extended family, including a baby and toddler. We had an extraordinary time--days beginning with sunrise, early-morning swims in sea, at bottom of garden, and progressing gently from there. As an Eco-friendly family who cares and loves nature which is evident from the landscaping of our gardens, we thrive on planting trees and plants, not only on our Estate also outside the boundaries of our estate in our neighborhood. We have planted around one hundred and ten eucalyptus trees in the surrounding area which we regularly water and fertilize using our own resources and these trees have already reached heights of seven to eight meters adding to the beauty of nature around us. These eucalyptus trees have already changed our neighborhood, adding color, life, and oxygen. I am planning to plant even more trees in the surrounding neighborhood to add to the beauty and create a self-sustaining and greener environment.

Already on our premises, there are nine hundred Leland cedars, some traditional Greek cypress trees, one hundred and ten Palma Canaries, sixty-five Washingtonians, sixty bird of paradise palms with beautiful flowers, twenty olive trees (providing our own olives and olive oil!), ten citrus trees and around thirty other fruit trees. We also plant fresh vegetables every season, which we grow biologically, and hope to share with our guests. We feel that this in some small way helps to give back to our environment that we love and cherish.

As a small town in a very popular seaside resort area, Anavissos does not have much wildlife, but there are many different species of birds in our area, and as we mentioned in the above paragraph about the many trees we have planted both inside and outside of our estate, the bird population in our neighborhood has greatly increased due to the sanctuary all these trees provide for them. There are some falcons and eagles that visit us from time to time, and as we are near the sea, there are also seagulls that are roaming the skies around us. In the past, we did save an injured falcon and with great joy were able to release it once again into the wild.

In the surrounding hills during nature hikes and mountain bike rides we have seen many foxes, rabbits, lizards, and other wildlife people do not have the opportunity to witness and enjoy in the wild any longer in most major cities. For the more adventurous types, the surrounding seas offer the most beautiful opportunities for snorkeling, with chances to see many varieties of marine wildlife. The ANNAVISSOS BEACH in a deep large bay with shallow waters for about the first 150 meters from the shore making it ideal for children to play safely and high waves are very rare on our beaches.

In the nearby seaside marina, there are the most popular seafood taverns, we personally visit on a regular basis and highly recommend to our future guests. Also, ten minutes away from us, one of the most famous archaeological sites in Greece, Cape Sounion, is home to the temple of Poseidon. After visiting this site, you can spend the day on a tranquil and Scenic beach at the foot of the hill it stands on, which has a lovely traditional seafood tavern on it. And watch one of the most beautiful sunsets in the Agean sea.

The nearest beach is within walking distance although there are many beautiful beaches in the area to choose from. The centre of the local area is only a 10' drive where you can find a super market, coffee shops, bakeries and restaurants.
