The hotel is located in a very nice spot, and the rooms are nice and spacious. We couldn’t imagine then that this so expensive 5-star hotel has not even the basic service. After we took our first shower, we walk in the room barefoot, just to discover that the floor (dark grey we couldn’t see it), was very very dirty, with a lot of black hair (not ours), stack into our feet. Our feet were literally total black. (room was never cleaned after the previous residents) I went to the reception with a video of the dirt on the floor asking to see the manager and complaining about the room. The result? Even if they reassured us that they would take extra care of the room cleaning, this NEVER HAPPENED. They were only making the beds every day. NO cleaning with broom, NO mopping the floor, NO folding the clothes, NO afternoon turn down, NO new towels. They removed the used once and didn’t replace them, so we were left with no shower towels. All these for 4 days. Basic cleaning procedure in a 5-star (not) hotel. Nobody (except two very nice boys in the reception) talked English, so we were just complaining in the reception every day, and nothing was happening. The housekeeping staff couldn’t understand anything. We asked to see the manager more than 6 times, and she refused to appear. We could see her in the hotel, but she was avoiding us! Not even an action showing that they care. AWFUL experienve. Definitely NOT a suggestion !!"

Within ten minutes walking distance of the villa are local shops, bars and many fish restaurants to visit. Every Tuesday and Thursday there is a fantastic market where you can purchase fresh vegetables, spices and too much more to mention! Be prepared to haggle for a bargain! There is a sandy beach within walking distance most are free of charge if you purchase a drink. Further a field are other larger beaches such as Kargi beach. Local dolmus (bus) are available in the town. Gumusluk is a fabulous fishing village to visit with restaurants set on the beaches.
Boat trips can be booked from the town it's a great day out with home made food included. I personally prefer the smaller. Fifteen minutes walk away is the new Palamarina with amazing yatchs and lovely shops and restaurants.
Our Villa is exceptionally well equipped including DVDS books and games flat screen TV to relax in the lounge if the heat gets to much. The TV is only for watching DVDs no TV channels are available. Docking station for your own ipod iphone. Mosquito screens installed to all bedrooms and lounge area for your comfort.
The villa consists of three bedrooms two have king size beds and the smaller bedroom has a single bed. All bedrooms have air conditioning units.
Both bathrooms have a hair dryer.
Local bikes are available to hire at Yali Travel Agency in the town.
We have a gas bbq if you want to cook and enjoy a relaxing night at home and watch a DVD. For technical questions, we have a janitor who lives in the village and is always ready to call. The villa is located on a hill and is a few steps from the famous village of Geris. There are two small grocery stores and a bus stop.

- "We stayed in villa Tibet for 14 days and enjoyed it! Enjoyed the pool, the view and the location of the house was perfect. All sights were max. 15 minutes drive. The gardener came every two days to keep the pool and garden clean. The house was very clean. Unfortunately it was very hot and a fan did not always help. Air conditioning would have been perfect. The last few days a lot has been built on a new villa right next to Villa Tibet and we sometimes had problems with that (noise, insight). We only made use of the sauna once for a very short time as it had not been cleaned and actually appeared to be out of order. Communication with Hatice went great. Hatice helped us with everything and gave us many tips about the sights and restaurants. The PCR tests were also arranged by her, wich was very nice. All in all, a nice and family-friendly villa with a large pool that we thoroughly enjoyed!"
