- "Nothing special " - "We had stayed many years ago at Villa Vali and was taking a trip down memory lane to celebrate a birthday. On arrival we were made very welcome and were made a drink. We did not have to wait long and the owner showed us to a room which was very small with a very tiny balcony not really suitable or big enough to use. It had no views at all, it was to my understanding that I had booked a one bedroom villa. We explained this but did not want to ruin our trip, we were shown a room that did have a nice outside sitting area but it was sadly fall of damp and smelt along with the bedding being damp. We were forced to sleep on top of the bed covering the pillows with towels and a blanket I had travelled with. After little sleep we packed to leave. This time the owner showed us a sweet pool side studio which was well decorated still not a villa but decided we would make the best of it, so we decided to stay. However our last day and night was totally ruined by inconsiderate others who arrived making a lot of noise and with small children screaming and banging doors for hours. The family who run the place are absolutely lovely, the gardens are beautiful and extremely clean. The walls in our room were very thin and you could hear everything from your neighbours whether next door or in the room above. Sadly not somewhere we will return. "

Villa Emirhan is in a lovely quiet location and only a short distance into the centre, where you can experience the wonderful riverside restaurants shops, markets and bars. Getting into the centre of town or to the beach is easy. The sea is excellent for swimming with shallow waters for at least 50 metres from the shore so it is very safe for adults and children. The entire area is classified as a nature reserve and a site of special scientific interest. Access to Iztuzu Beach is via dolmus (minibus), riverboat, bike or car. The detached villa has a walled garden with panoramic views of the wonderful mountain countryside and 2 sides of the dining room open onto a large covered terrace with bbq and access to the pool.
There are lined curtains in the bedrooms that do keep the rooms darker in the mornings and during the day.

We found it's best if you take the country, back route down into town rather than having to use the main road in. We thoroughly enjoyed exploring the area and highly recommend taking the ferry across to the other side of the estuary. The views of the river as you drive up the mountain are amazing and we had very tasty gozleme (pancakes) at Çandır Teras Çay Bahçesi Gözleme Ve Kahvaltı Evi where you can sit and take in the awesome views. There are too many fabulous places to visit to mention but we highly recommend that you stay in Andy's villa and explore what Dalyan and the surrounding area has to offer. We love it!"
