It had all of the amenities that we needed and the washing machine was brilliant and the dish washer when we cooked for the ten of us, saved on the washing up. Villa Blue-Pine (Gokcam in Turkish) is a luxury furnished, air-conditioned modern villa set across 3 floors within it’s own private garden and private pool. It was newly completed in 2010 and located in a quiet and peaceful residential area, local transport and corner shops are just 5 minutes walk and Calis beach/centre is a further 10 minutes walk away. There are 3 large bedrooms all with balconies and en-suites. The villa can sleep up to 6 people very comfortably. There is a downstairs cloakroom and a utility room with washing machine, iron etc. The living room is open plan with doors leading out onto the terrace area by the pool.

The villa has an excellent well equipped kitchen and the property is tastefully decorated and furnished. There is full air conditioning throughout, a well maintained private swimming pool, outside dining area, large patio, and a built in barbecue. The villa is ideally situated to explore the Turquoise coast.

The villa is surrounded by a walled garden growing palm, banana, citrus and olive trees, Mediterranean flora, a large lawn to front and back and bougainvillea growing in abundance.

At the front of the villa there is a gated drive and ample parking space for a car, additional parking is available directly outside the villa on the adjacent private road. To the rear the private garden and pool with circular steps into the pool from the spacious sun patio.

Dining alfresco, by the pool, is a must at any time (night or day) and the outside teak garden table can seat 6 easily with a large sun parasol giving adequate shade from the sun and heat. There are six cushioned sun loungers and two sun parasols providing ample space to unwind, relax and enjoy the Mediterranean weather at its best.

Villa Calis is a privately owned luxury villa in Koca Calis which is near the town of Calis. It has 3 double bedrooms, 2 of which are twin rooms with the master being a double with an ensuite shower room. All rooms have air-conditioning, wardrobes (with plenty of hangers), drawers and mirrors with the 2 larger rooms having a dressing table each . The downstairs is open plan where there is a fully fitted kitchen, dining area and lounge with comfortable seating complete with a smart TV with sky tv, a bluetooth sound system, wifi and book library. There is also a downstairs wc. The villa has a large private garden area which is fully enclosed by a wall and gates. The garden and pool enjoy the sun from sunrise until sunset. There is an undercover terrace with tables and chairs which provides shade all day and a brick built barbecue. Sun loungers, tables, chairs and shades are provided. The villa is set in a quiet peaceful location with stunning views of the mountains yet is only a 3 minute walk to the beach. All areas are easily accessible by Dolmus and the local cheap taxis. There is a 24 hour management company on hand for any emergencies or queries and we have our renters permit.

Calis with its bar and good selection of restaurants is a good 40 mins walk, or 18 lira(about £2.50), or the dolmus (bus) was 8 lira for two persons. If you walk in there is a very nice bar called Uptown, located on the first floor, as you arrive at beach. It is a must to get the water taxi to Fethiye, it only costs 9 lira each (for a single trip). Fethiye old town is well worth the effort. It costs roughly 50 lira by taxi from the rank by the villa or 18- 20 lira for a taxi to the water taxi in Calis, plus 9 lira each on the water taxi. Returning to Calis at night from Fethiye is very well worth trying."

- "We are a family of 4 with 2 teenagers. Julian arranged our transfers and a welcome pack for our arrival. Transfer was excellent. We arrived early hours of the morning so didn’t meet Julian until the next morning. He explained everything to us including where shops were etc. The Villa itself is beautiful with 4 bedrooms 3 Showers and 4 toilets so no queues for the bathroom in the morning. The Villa has everything you need from dvds, games and pool toys. Having our own pool was a godsend as the temperature was very hot whilst we were there. There is air conditioning in every bedroom which was a relief too. We mainly sat outside on the covered patio area which was also lovely. Calis Beach promenade is about a 10 minute walk as is the migros for shopping. There were also 2 pushbikes that we used to get to the shops occasionally which was good. Julian the host was always available too. The only thing that was a problem and this is nothing to do with the Villa or host is that the Taxi buttons that are located in the streets around the Villa don’t seem to work. So you have to walk to Calis beach (or flag a taxi down if you see one) to get a Taxi. This may be a problem for the less mobile. You can call a number which is by the Taxi button but I never have any call data whilst in turkey only a Wi-Fi box. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this Villa to anyone and we will hopefully return at some point. Thanks Julian for all your help including the loan of your mobile number."

The owners should be able to show you a certificate. Otherwise you could be asked to leave by the police without warning! Harsh but true.
Everyone's safety is paramount so we try to leave a full day or more between bookings to ensure proper cleaning & disinfecting can take place as well as thorough cleaning of the pool with additional chemicals.
For those staying for 2 or more weeks we will arrange a change of linen & towels for you. A full clean can be arranged at nominal charge by agreement with the property manager.

They sorted our transfers to and from the airport, so it was a really easy process to arrive at the villa/airport. They were also very fast at reponding to any questions we had before and during our stay. The air-conditioned villa consists of 4 bedrooms, a living room, a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and a coffee machine, and 4 bathrooms with a shower and a hair dryer. Guests can take in the views of the pool from the terrace, which also has outdoor furniture. For added privacy, the accommodation has a private entrance and soundproofing. Ece Saray Marina is 2.6 miles from the villa, while Butterfly Valley is 15 miles from the property. Dalaman Airport is 31 miles away.

Relax in the luxury and comfort of this beautiful air conditioned villa. At night - dine alfresco overlooking the lit pool and adjacent forest. By day, dip in and out of the private pool, sunbathing on the surrounding terrace and gated gardens.

There's a child's splash pool, outside hot and cold power-shower and BBQ. The owner, Marcia, who is an artist, has created beautiful pebble murals on the villa wall and pillars near the pool (see photo). She has decorated the bamboo fence surrounding part of the terrace by painting an incredible tropical flower mural to further enhance the terrace . You'll see further evidence of her original art on the walls and elegant decor of the villa.

There's a new smart Samsung TV in the lounge.

After cooling off in the pool, pop inside for a glass of ice-cold water, or hot drink, on tap from the kitchen dispenser.

For your convenience, Villa Loumar has (free) wi-fi throughout and on the balconies. The local restaurants and nearby beach clubs also all have free wi-fi.

All three bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms with great power showers. The top floor bedroom has a jacuzzi bath with overhead shower. You'll need to put it on a low setting as it has wonderfully strong power jets - but don't worry about flooding the bathroom because it has a glass surround.

Cool marble floors and air-conditioning throughout.

Villa Loumar is ideally situated on the corner of a quiet residential street in Koca Calis village, within 6-8 minutes level walk (less than 400m) to local beaches. The nearest is Surf Beach where you can catch a Dolmus (local minibus) to the busier Calis Beach (10 minute ride) or to the beautiful harbour town of Fethiye. The Dolmus's go every few minutes to Calis and local areas. Calis Beach has a beautiful promenade, shops and numerous cafes.

There's a large newly opened 'Migros' (supermarket) just a minute's walk around the corner from the villa.

The harbour town of Fethiye is a 20 minute dolmus ride from Surf Beach, but a better way to go is via a Water Taxi to Fethiye Harbour from Calis Beach. There's great shopping in the Paspateur (Old City), a fantastic weekly Tuesday market at Fethiye harbour. Another must is a visit to The Fish Market where you choose freshly caught fish which is cooked on the spot at one of the surrounding restaurants where you dine under the trees overhung with lights.

There are many tours you can book at Calis Beach from one of the many outdoor booths there.

The famous lagoon beach resort of Olu Deniz is a 25 minute bus journey from Fethiye and offers lively evening entertainment, clubs, music, dining and dancing. Try para gliding for an exciting yet peaceful birds eye view of the lagoon and area.

The villa is ideally located for all these local attractions. The pool and garden are serviced daily, and our excellent, English speaking local agents clean the villa before arrival and are on the spot to help should you require it. You'll find their brochure in the villa.

For added security, the villa is burglar alarmed (there are also security grills on doors and windows). Windows have mosquito nets fitted but please don't leave windows open when the air-con is on.

All in all, we think you'll find Villa Loumar a delightful base for your holiday. We hope you'll love it as much as we do!

- "The property was just as described. Pool and house were lovely and Marcia and Matt (Property Manager) were ever so helpful with any request, no matter how trivial. Location was perfect. less than a 5 minute walk to a lovely seaside beach bar/restaurant or a 30 second walk to a small cafe opposite. Transport links were excellent with a VERY regular and cheap Dolmus (local bus) at the bottom of the road. Took Turkish Lira or my contactless UK bank card too so very easy.10 minutes to Calis and we never had to wait more than 5 minutes for a bus. A taxi office nearby and 2 small supermarkets as well. The house was great with pretty much everything you needed. V clean with the pool cleaned daily. And as I said owner and property manager really could not have been more attentive and helpful in every regard. Lovely place, lovely holiday. 5 stars."
