*** As of December 05, 2025, the Greek government have replaced the old “bed tax” with a new tax that is applied to all stays in short-term rental accommodation in Greece. The Climate Resilience Levy is a response to the devastating forest fires and floods that Greece has experienced in recent years, with the government hoping to generate extra funding that will go towards financing reconstruction, supporting victims, and increasing the country’s defences against future natural disasters.

The owners of all short-term rental accommodation are legally obliged to collect the Climate Resilience Levy as a separate tax for all overnight stays (per villa) as follows:

Whilst we understand the potential budget concerns of our guests, this tax/levy is beyond our control and we encourage our guests to see this as a way of contributing to the protection of the planet and the beautiful area where they are holidaying.

The Vrbo system does not yet have a section for collecting the Climate Resilience Levy and we have, therefore, had to add it to the billing section as an extra fee which will show on the booking as a Administrative Fee (until Vrbo update their system - but don't hold your breath as they're very slow to action anything).

- "I booked Villa Kallisto to celebrate my wife's 50th birthday and as part of a wider family holiday. We've booked Villas before but the service offered by the owner Allison is second to none. Very quick responses, nothing too much trouble, great advice and always willing to help. Just prior to our arrival the fires broke out on Rhodes and flights were cancelled causing a lot of uncertainty. We were kept fully updated by Allison via email and she made contact by phone to provide further reassurance and regular updates. It really was a great service. Upon booking we received an excellent information booklet which was thorough and invaluable with recommendations from transport, food deliveries prior to our arrival; great restaurants to supermarkets to sights and we used this throughout the holiday. We booked numerous fantastic meals at Tambakio;Broccolino; Philosophia; Mythos; and lunch at Lee Beach. The villa itself is superb.....close enough to Lindos and Pefkos to get there very easily but set in a quiet area which is so peaceful and relaxing. The Villa has everything you need; a full kitchen; very clean; great views; and plenty of room for the six of us. Outside there are numerous seating areas and relaxing spots throughout the lovely garden area and although there are other villas nearby it's very private and quiet. Villa Galini is simply outstanding. It is more like a 5 star boutique hotel. The location is wonderful with a 2 min walk onto the beach, yet tucked away and elevated so wonderfully quiet and peaceful with just outstanding views across the bay. The quality of everything is top notch and fully equipped for your comfort. The outdoor space is the best we have ever stayed in with outdoor lounge and dining under the canopy and then the fabulous pool. You really feel like a film star in Beverly Hills !!
Russ and team cannot do enough for you and the local car hire and transfers were also amazing. It has been so lovely to escape the current COVID situation and relax somewhere safe and friendly. At the end of the day holidays are precious times and you get what you pay for. I can’t recommend enough - thanks Russ you are outstanding at this.

Spread across two levels, this exquisite, 148 m2 property accommodates up to 6 guests in 3 immaculate bedrooms and the double sofa bed in the living room. High quality furnishings, with touches of modern and classic style, state of the art appliances and all modern amenities make it an ideal choice for a relaxing villa vacation. All the beds in the villa have Coco-Mat mattresses that are made of natural materials designed to offer you healthy, relaxing and comfortable sleep, Furthermore, Eden Villa is suitable for guests with restricted mobility and it’s wheelchair accessible, as its interior is flat. Guests can have direct access to the pool terrace from the ground floor living room.
Lower Ground
The lower ground of the Villa is for those who don’t want to stop practising during their holiday and always be in shape, there’s a well equipped gym with a treadmill, static bicycle, a butterfly machine and workout weights!
Ground Floor
The ground floor where the cosy sitting room, with large sofa invites you to take a seat and gaze upon the unobstructed sea view, provided by the surrounding glass panels, while the modern fireplace adds a homely touch.
The open plan area also included a dining area for 6 guests and offers direct access to the pool terrace.
A few steps way, the fully equipped kitchen provides everything that’s required for a self catered holiday, as well as direct access to the outdoor area, BBQ facilities and dining table
A bedroom is located on the ground floor of the Villa, providing wheelchair access, and overlooks the wonderful country side.
Last but not least a bathroom has been thoughtfully furnished with handrail next to the WC, and a wooden seat on the wall in the shower area.
Mezzanine
On the mezzanine lie the remaining two bedrooms, one of which offer beautiful views to the sea and blue horizon, while the last one opens up to the country side. All bedrooms are tastefully decorated, the master bedroom has access to a balcony equipped with patio furniture.
All three bedrooms have boudoirs, black-out curtains, air-conditioning. The master bedroom has a Super King Size bed (1.80X2.00), the other two bedrooms the beds could be set up either as a Super King Size Bed (1.80X2.00) or as two single beds (0.90X2.00).

Hospitality
Tsabika, at your arrival day will be waiting for you with her characteristic philoxenia, in order to welcome you and give you all the relevant information about the villa and the area. Tsabika will be available 7 days per week to take care of any inquiry you may have or if you need any further information or assistance.

The area was quiet and peaceful and we had no neighbours to worry about. However, for us it was slightly too quiet. There were two nice restaurants within walking distance but we ended up spending more time in the car than we had expected, especially as the beach near the villa wasn’t that nice. Perhaps if we hadn’t had small children we could have walked further afield. Overall, a beautiful villa and a great springboard to explore the area… but you really need a car."
