There is a 4 metre umbrella on the terrace which is a lovely area to provide shade during the day and to relax with drinks in the evening. The grounds of the villa are surrounded by garden lighting together with pool lights which provide practical yet atmospheric lighting during the lovely warm evenings. The property benefits from a variety of seating areas with 2 sets of tables and chairs, 6 sun loungers and a hammock, as well as a paved barbecue area to the side of the property. There is a large barbecue on the paved area together with a dining table and chairs for 6 people, which benefits from the dappled shade of the almond tree in the evening. Behind the barbecue area, there are Olive and fruit trees providing a beautiful setting for dining as well as privacy. For further entertainment, there is a darts board and table football.
On arriving at the villa, there is ample parking space for up to 4 cars. The block paved drive next to the villa takes you to an entrance porch which is surrounded by beautiful bedding plants. The main door leads to a lounge with a new fully fitted open plan kitchen with island, cream gloss units, black granite worktops and fitted Bosch electric oven, ceramic hob and extractor fan. The kitchen is fully equipped with white porcelain dining sets and all of the cooking and food preparation equipment that is needed. The kitchen leads onto the dining area which has a dining table and chairs for 6 people. The dining room has double aspect patio doors with fantastic views of the pool, terrace as well as the valley and stunning mountains beyond. There is also a modern fully tiled bathroom downstairs with shower enclosure, vanity unit and toilet. The villa has beautiful porcelain tile flooring throughout. The spacious lounge has an open fireplace with wood burning stove, air conditioning, 2 and 3 seater settees, 1 armchair and a coffee table, all of which easily accommodates 6 people. There is a 42inch flat screen television for watching DVDs, an Amazon Alexa Echo Dot and an iPod dock for listening to music and charging most Apple devices. The property also benefits from FREE UNLIMITED internet access together with a PS4 and games. There are patio doors in the lounge which lead directly to a large tiled terrace at the front of the property with a tiled roof and Turkish lights above. The uninterrupted views from the terrace are truly stunning. This is an ideal place to dine al fresco and take in the peace and tranquillity that Villa Maria offers.
Upstairs there are a further 2 bedrooms, both with en suite bathrooms. The bedrooms each have king size beds, bedside tables, wardrobes, chest of drawers and a mirror. Both bedrooms benefit from patio doors with Juliet balconies and uninterrupted views of Uzumlu with the protected olive groves and mountains beyond.

Whilst Fethiye is 20kms away it is still close enough for all your needs with good roadways and directions, in fact I would highly recommend several visits to some very good restaurants. The villa itself was extremely clean, well maintained and equipped, set out perfectly with a lovely mezzanine overlooking the living room. Open plan with very good lighting which made the whole house feel light and breezy. I have stayed in many villa’s over the years but a further feature of Villa Maria which you do not always get is the number of outside seating areas, 4 to be exact, so it does not matter the direction of the breeze you will be able to situate yourself accordingly. I may also add the wifi was also very good which is not always the case. Both Debbie (Owner) and Metin (Villa Manager) were excellent. They both answered texts or emails very quickly and gave good direction for all questions asked, thank you both. In short, this is a beautiful villa in a lovely peaceful location run by very nice and truly helpful people, I cannot recommend this villa enough and, for the first time ever, we are seriously considering a 2nd visit to a villa with friends. This luxury 4 bedroomed modern villa has real Turkish character and is located at the base of the impressive mendos mountain with amazing views of babadag where the paragliders start their decent down to olu deniz beach. The villa has it's own private pool with sun beds and parasols . A marble staircase takes you to the 1st and 2nd floor bedrooms and landing areas. A large covered balcony is fully equiped for outside dining and can provide shade from the hot sun. Each of the 4 bedrooms has air-conditioning.

- "Highly recommended to stay at Villa Caroline the gardens and balcony offer great shade from the sun and we really needed it with temperatures 10 degrees above average for June. We went as a family of 8 with two very young children and really appreciated that the pool has two depths which allowed us to interact with the little ones. The Villa is fully air conditioned and very comfortable we took a fire stick so was able to get good television from the wi fi. Bulent and Burcu are excellent hosts and so accommodating we had a couple of minor issues which were resolved quickly. Yes the Villa is 25 minutes walk from the strip but benefits from having a well stocked supermarket two minutes away and is very close to good restaurants such as Turtle, Karisma and our favourite Cazibe. (all a very short walk) Taxis our £4/£5 to the strip from a call point nearby or wave one down from the road outside. Although it is on the main top road it is well set back and the garden is secure and the balcony has a wrap around fence and gate which was ideal to keep two toddlers from coming to any harm. We hope to return in the future and would happily answer any questions people might have."

There were shops and restaurants at the top of the road and it was a 5 minute drive to Hisaranou, 10 minutes to Olu Deniz. We had a couple of takeaways from Shiraz at the top of the road which was excellent and I highly recommend it if you don't want to go out one evening. I do have a couple of minor suggestions to add to the property but in the main I highly recommend it. 1 - get rid of the coloured pillowcases on the beds and replace with plain white so they can be easily washed/replaced each stay/clean. 2 - provide a towel for drying dishes, a cloth for washing dishes, washing up liquid, bin bags and maybe some hand soap in the bathrooms. These things cost very little and when you are renting a premium property such as this these should be provided as standard. Adding these would be a great extra at very little cost."

They sorted our transfers to and from the airport, so it was a really easy process to arrive at the villa/airport. They were also very fast at reponding to any questions we had before and during our stay. We would definitely recommend this villa to anybody interested in visiting Turkey. It was only a 5 minute walk to the beach which had a few local bars and restaurants overlooking the sea, which we used for breakfasts some days. Additionally it was only a 25 minute walk to Calis, a much busier area with so many amazing restaurants, bars and shops. From Calis you could also take a river taxi to Fethiye. We originally were using taxis but later on during the holiday we found that the bus service was just as efficient and a lot cheaper. We couldn't have been any happier with this holiday and couldn't have picked a better place to stay for our first visit to Turkey."

Villa Kalhada is situated in the pretty hillside area of Ovacik, and has an amazing view of Mt. Babadag and also uninterrupted views of the Mendos hills. The villa offers privacy and plenty of space. It has everything required for a relaxing holiday. The furnishings and decor are to a high standard, with full air conditioning. There is a covered verandah with comfortable seating which overlooks the private pool and garden area.

A welcome pack is provided for each group of guests.
If your stay is 2 weeks or longer, the villa will be cleaned once a week and all bed linen and towels will be changed. We provide bathroom, pool and beach towels.

Ground floor - is an open plan area where there is a stylish lounge with a very comfortable corner sofa, large wall mounted TV, which has a full package of tv channels including all sports, movie and children's. WiFi is also included. There is a modern kitchen which is fully equipped with appliances and equipment. There is a bathroom and a utility room.. The pool, sun terraces and garden can be accessed directly via a door in the lounge area.

First floor - Stairs to the first floor lead to three double bedrooms. Two of them offer access to private balconies and share a family bathroom. The master bedroom incorporates its own en suite.

Second floor - The second floor includes a suite which has twin beds. This comes with fitted wardrobes and dressing table. It has its own en suite shower and access to a roof terrace.

Exterior
The garden includes a traditional Turkish Kosk, which is a covered soft seating area, as well as sunbeds around the pool. There is comfortable seating on the terrace which overlooks the pool. A heater will ensure that you will be able to enjoy a swim during the cooler months. A built in gas bbq within easy reach of the kitchen is ideal for al fresco dining in the warm summer months.

- "This is our third time staying in this area. The Mountain View’s are beautiful. The villa was smaller than what we are used to but it was fantastic. A well stocked kitchen which we were pleased with as we love to cook and make meals when we are away. The pool was really good and clean. We could not fault this villa and are coming back again next year. A recommendation would be better quality towels but cannot think of anything else. We did manage to lock ourselves out of the villa with all our money and my phone inside. We were having drinks and using the pool. My friend managed to inbox the owner and we got a man about an hour later to let us back in. This might also need to be highlighted with the verbo as we could not contact them as my phone was inside as they now send a code to your phone. The villa is on the top road and close to restaurants and bars. Do try out the pizza restaurant on the top road. You will not be disappointed. It is called Dilna."

Villa Sana is located in Yesiluzumlu 20 minutes (17km) to Fethiye city center, which is a must seen that we advise you during your stay. Another top spot that you shouldn't miss is Oludeniz - Blue Lagoon (27km), Gocek (40km), Kas (115km), and last but not least Dalaman International Airport only 60 minutes drive. We advise you to rent a car during your stay to feel the beauty of the Aegean coast. There is a suitable area for car parking in our house. Since our house is 17 km away from Fethiye center and in a location where there is no public transportation, the best option would be to come with your own vehicle, otherwise you will have to use a taxi.

- "We really thoroughly enjoyed our two week stay at Villa Sana. The house was carefully picked for accessibility for our mother and it would have worked wonderfully for her - but sadly she was not able to join us. The villa has a great pool with views over the open countryside and plenty of space to sunbathe and eat outside. The pool is very large (but slightly chilly by October) and quite private - some additional plants for screening on one side would make it totally private. The house was very clean, comfortable and had all the expected amenities including reliable wifi, air conditioning, dishwasher etc. As in other areas of Turkey we have visited, short infrequent power cuts are the norm so take a torch or solar lamps just in case (Solar Puffs are great!) . The village is a 45 minute drive from Dalaman airport and easy to get to. We would recommend a car as the villa is a good five minute drive from the main village. The Cadianda garden restaurant is also a five minute drive from the villa and we ate there regularly. The village has cafes, small shops, garden restaurants and pide takeaways. There are a couple of small grocery shops but we would recommend stocking up in a larger supermarkets, only 20 minutes drive away in Fethiye (Migros or Carrefour). We’re hoping to be back in September 2023!"

Villa Ekim is a 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom property located in Ovacik in South West Türkiye. The villa is a 5 minute walk to the lively resort of Hisaronu and a 10 min bus ride (dolmus) to the beautiful Olu Deniz beach. Fethyie is also only 15 minutes away by bus.

This is a private villa, with its own gated entrance. Steps lead down into the front garden area, with access to the private pool. Upon entering the property, you come into a spacious reception area with access to the fully equipped kitchen with all mod cons including washing machine, dishwasher, oven and electric hob. The open plan lounge is also situated on the ground floor with fire and a 40 inch flat screen TV, complete with DVD player. The patio doors in the living room and kitchen lead onto a spacious private wrap around terrace, which also allows access to the private pool, pool area and gardens. The gardens are well appointed, and we welcome you to make use of the brick built barbequeand dine al-fresco. There is also a pay as you go WIFI available in the Villa.

Marble stairs take you to the first floor where you find the master bedroom complete with a private balcony and en-suite bathroom. The upper floor also has a twin bedroom, again complete with a private balcony, and a family bathroom. There are a further 2 bedrooms on the lower ground floor a twin room and a double room, there is a family bathroom on the lower ground floor. We also have a chill out room with 2 double sofa beds a 32 inch tv and a selection of dvd's and books for those hot days.

THE AREA - Ovacik /Hisaronu

The villa is situated in a quieter area, being only 5 minutes away from all the action of the resort you can spend your time here as relaxed or active as you choose with something for everyone.

Hisaronu is a resort perched 1500ft above sea level packed with shops, ATM's, Restaurants for all tastes. Hisaronu is a 5 minute walk away or you can catch the dolmus at the top of the road for a 2 min bus ride.

The resort area has a welcoming breeze on returning from the hot beach area during the day.

THE BEACH – Olu Deniz

Just 10mins drive from the villa down the winding mountain road is a stunning bay with a laid back atmosphere and one of the most beautiful beaches in Turkey.

You can walk along the promenade and stop for lunch and drinks in one of the many beach bars or watch the paragliders landing on the beach. It is regarded as one of the best places in the world to paraglide due to its unique panoramic views, and the Babadag mountain's exceptional height.

Visit the lagoon area which is a national nature reserve and well worth the small entrance fee, it has sunbeds & parasols, showers/toilets and a refreshments area. On one side lie the calm waters of the lagoon, which is peaceful for picnics and relaxing.- on the other side is the warm clear waters of the mediterranean.

THE TOWN – Fethiye

10 mins drive in the other direction takes you to the wonderful market town of Fethiye. With its Pastpatur area (harbour bazaar) catering for tourists it has plenty of shops/bars and international restaurants that are well worth a visit. Right in the centre of town is the fish/veg market which has incredible bargains for that special barbeque. Alternatively buy your fish and one of the restaurants surrounding the market will create a delicious meal for you for around £2. The market is on every Tuesday in Fethiye.

You can take the 12 islands boat trip from the harbour area or a water taxi across to Calis Beach for a change of scenery

HISTORY – Kaya Koy Ghost village

10 mins drive through the village of Hisaronu is the aptly named ghost village. The houses here were once occupied by the greeks until the 1920's when they were repatriated back to Greece. The Turkish people refused to live in the properties for the worry of them being cursed and so they have remained empty ever since. Most of the buildings are still standing but in a state of dilapidation. You can walk through the houses in the village up the hill to the church at the top giving you a sense of the scale of the village and what life was like and has splendid views of the landscape or over the back of the lagoon follow the waymarked signs to Oludeniz.

- "We stayed for a week in this house. The pool area and garden are nice, but the house is old, both inside and out. The furniture is old and dirty, the doors are old and difficult to open and make a lot of noise when opening and closing. The cleaning was poor and there was a lot of dirt around the house. The toilets smell of a strong sewage smell. The sunbeds are old and dirty. The house is a bit far from restaurants and you have to take a taxi to get there. - "We stayed here for 10 days with family. The Villa had everything available to provide a very enjoyable stay. The few minor issues we had during the stay were dealt with promptly and efficiently by the management team in town. There was a number available to report any issues but we just popped into the office whilst we were in town and within a few hours they had popped out to fix the problem. We ordered the water dispenser refills from the number on the fridge so we had cold bottled water always available. Beautiful farmhouse set in an idyllic village Kayakoy. Great for walkers as Kayakoy has some fantastic walks being mountain or forest. Approx 200m from the house there is a bus that runs every half an hour which is great if you would like to visit Hisaronu or famous Oludeniz blue lagoon. The house is a ten minute walk from food shops and village restaurants. On arrival there is a meet and greet so no need to worry and help is on hand if needed 24/7.
The farmhouse is of very good size and can accommodate up to six persons. There is an additional fold up bed if needed. The house also offers a good size swimming pool (appx 33 feet length and 16feet wide) with sunbathing areas around the pool which is totally private to you the renter. There is also aircon available to all the bedrooms. This is a fantastic place to really chill/relax and the surrounding views are beautiful.
Kayakoy was once home to the greek community which is steeped in history and the old houses that are no longer lived in offer a fantastic backdrop and view for those of you that like to sit back in the evenings and enjoy real tranquil turkish life. There is a small beach close by which looks out onto Saint Nicholas island reputed to be the birth place of Father Christmas. Water and sky sports are available as well as a well stocked beach restaurant/bar. Kaya is great for those of you that may like to paint or just sit back and read. Welcome to our Beautiful villa Ivy fold
which is set in the picturesque valley of Ovacik 15 mins drive from the famous Blue Lagoon in Olu deniz . Ivy fold stands on a large 730 m2 plot with 2 tier mature landscaped garden with fruit trees and has its own private swimming pool with easy walk in steps and a pool side shower. The pool is all the same depth, around 3 foot. There are plenty of areas to sit back and relax be it by the pool, swinging on one of the wicker egg chairs, under the walnut tree with a good book or on one of the four balconies all offering magnificent views of Babadag mountain or the surrounding area of Ovacik valley and beyond.
The villa comprises of 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and has a specious open plan lounge, kitchen dining area with a separate laundry room. There is a conservatory/garden room off the kitchen with sliding doors to both sides allowing you to enjoy the outside while sitting inside for shade, From here you can see the paragliders over Babadag mountain in the distance.
The villa is set over 5 floors but each staircase only comprises of 8 steps so its not to strenuous moving up or down floors.
You enter the villa on the first floor where you are greeted with a beautiful wide marble staircase to the left. In front of you is a double bedroom with balcony that has beautiful views and amazing sunset. Next door is a bathroom with walk in shower.
Take a few steps down to the ground floor where you will find the bright spacious living area with fully equipped kitchen/ diner that comprises of dishwasher, built in oven, microwave, large fridge/ freezer and a water cooler ( the local shop will deliver this up to the villa free of charge). From the kitchen you enter the conservatory which leads to the large pool area with ample lighting, rattan furniture and sun loungers to accommodate 8 guests. The lounge consists of two large sofas a smart television with Iptv and local channels plus hundreds of dvds, books and plenty of games for the whole family. Take the stairs to the lower floor where you will find a bathroom with walk-in shower, sink & Wc.
On the second floor, here you will find the master king size bedroom with its own en-suite shower room and balcony which has beautiful views. Also on this level is a twin room with 2 x single beds with skylight windows enabling you to see the stars in the night sky. There is a cot and highchair available for families with little ones.
On the third floor you will find the queen size bedroom with balcony and amazing views of this beautiful part of Turkiye. Next door is the bathroom with walk in shower, sink & Wc. There is a separate balcony off this floor which allows you to take advantage of more spectacular views of the wrap around mountains.
Outside the front gate to the left & right you will find a taxi call button mounted to the lamp post, when pressed the local taxi firm will come to that location.
The Villa is located in a quite residential area but within walking distance from many local restaurants, shops and bars and only a 10 minute dolmus ride into Hisaronu with its lively night life, 15 mins from the world famous Blue Lagoon in Oludeniz and 20 mins from the bustling harbour town of Fethiye with its Tuesday market and popular fish market inside the Bazaar.
There is so much to do and explore such as Babadag cable cars , Kayakoy ( Ghost town ) Kabak , Calis beach resort , Gocek marina and Orka world water park. Plenty of excursion companies to book your activities with from Paragliding to Jeep safari to horse riding and go-karting or a traditional turkish bath.
