The property offers a fantastic large infinity pool with unspoilt views across the mountains of Patara and Kalkan and is based between Islamlar and Kalkan in a local hamlet called (Uz) that has a few local restaurants, fresh butchers and all you need from a market that offers fresh fish /rotary chicken and will provide a service delivery. The local AKA will offer breakfast and service delivery.
The standard of the villa and furnishings are very high standard. The villa has travertine stone floors throughout the bathrooms and new rainforest showers were added in 2022.

Brand New Mosquito nets in all patio doors built inside 2025 to allow air through the property.

There are three kitchen areas to provide private space for individuals and couples should they choose. One on the top floor, ground and annexe level. Large outside table for alfresco dinning with sunbeds and umbrellas. Five bedrooms - Four of the bedrooms have comfortable king size divan beds, and one bedroom has twin divan beds, dressing tables with mirrors, beside cabinets and wardrobes. A wonderful luxury villa for 2 in a beautiful rural setting with stunning views down to the coast. This villa gives the opportunity for complete relaxation in the peaceful hillside location of Islamlar but it is only a 15 minute drive down to the coast and the upmarket resort of Kalkan. In midsummer the cooler air up here is a welcome relief from the heat at sea level.

The villa offers all home comforts for a perfect romantic retreat whether it is for a honeymoon or the chance for a few nights away without the kids.

The living room has floor length windows looking out onto the pool and is both comfortable and stylish with a retro feel. Sitting by the fireplace will be a cosy choice in early and late season and there is central heating so even a stay in the off season is possible. Think Christmas or New Year! There is a large flat screen TV with satellite channels so you can keep in touch with what is happening in the outside world if you want to.

The stylish modern kitchen is well equipped if you wish to do your own cooking and there is an integral dishwasher so no need for arguments about the washing up. There is a dining table inside for cooler days at the beginning or end of season or in winter.

The bedroom's kingsize round bed is its main feature. Patio doors lead from the bedroom to the pool and garden and there is direct access to the indoor jacuzzi pool. The photographs give you all the information you need. There is both air-conditioning for the summer and a radiator for chillier autumn / winter nights.

There is a spacious built-in wardrobe in the corridor just outside the bedroom in the corridor leading to the bathroom.

The outside living space is completely private and a superb pool is the main feature with its relaxing swing seat for two set above the pool for maximum sunbathing and chilling. The patio dining area is close to the pool and the BBQ is just nearby. There is an additional comfortable sitting area with sun shade for when it gets too hot in August.

Overall the property has everything you need for a relaxing break in comfort and style away from the crowds in a rural village setting.

Within Islamlar and walking distance from the villa there are a couple of small village stores and several fresh trout restaurants whch take advantage of the mountain streams which are a feature of Islamlar. The food on offer is simple but delicious - freshly caught trout, chips, fried halloumi type cheese, salads and village bread with amazing views down through the hills to the sea.

Located up in the hills away from busy Kalkan and amongst the local farming community with local shops a short distance away. No welcome pack was provided which would have been useful as we arrived very late in the evening. Unique timber luxury villa with one bedroom . Ottoman motifs are used throughout this villa, which has magnificent views out to sea and both outdoor and indoor heated pools. Set in the higher slopes of Islamlar Village this villa's pools are completely secluded from the outside world, giving a high degree of privacy. The living space is two storeys in height and the bedroom is on a mezzanine level within this space. The large windows to this space maximize the views from within and create a marvellous sense of spaciousness.

Our villa, has one en-suite bedroom with a capacity of 2 guests, however a third guest could be accomodated on the sofabed in the living area if required. Our villa is located on one of the highest hills in the village, which gives it spectacular views across the verdant Xanthos Valley towards Patara Beach. The property location is very quiet and peaceful, making the villa suitable for honeymoon couples or smalll families ( with one child).
The outdoor pool is 7.5 x 3.5 metres and 1.6 metres in depth. This can be heated in the cooler months if required for an extra charge and means that this villa is available 12 months of the year. In addition to the outdoor pool there is also a small indoor pool with a hydro-massage facility, which can be heated and/or made open air. Guests wishing to use this heating facility needto give at least two days notice in order that the pool wil be warm on there arrival. The maximum temperature is approximatelt 28-30 degrees centigrade and the charge for this is 2000 TL per day , payable on arrival in cash. The pool terrace is equipped with sunbeds, parasols and an alfresco dining area from which guests may soak in the panorama whilst enjoying their meal.

- "A bright clean villa away from it all, We had a great time here just hiding away from the world and enjoying the wonderful weather and surroundings, the locals are so friendly, and the main town is great for food, restaurants and more commercial types of things. There were some challenges for us, we didn’t expect air hockey and an arcade games machine in the main living space, and the villa while lovely could do with some TLC, lots of minor things broken, or not working (although they offered to have contractors come in while we were there to fix some of these things) the worst was the building work next door which went on all week (same owner) which meant that at times we sat inside when they were using the angel grinder or were particularly noisy. Its not classically set up for the western market and so things like coffee mugs, wine glasses, wine opener or a welcome hamper were not provided. The property manageress was just brilliant and so so helpful, we would really have struggled without her. Would love to go back again, Andrew Chrystal "

- "This villa is even better than in the photos. We felt like we were ‘living the dream’. The infinity pool was fantastic, towels, sun loungers and side tables plenty including a fun swinging egg chair we all enjoyed. The pool man came daily early - after a bit of a murky start it was crystal clear. The outside dining table is a beautiful handmade piece with 7 robust chairs. There are 2 shaded sofa areas and a full size table tennis table has been added since the photos were taken with 2 bats and a ball. Bedrooms are all huge, each with its own fridge! The jacuzzi upstairs and indoor pool downstairs were fun, crazy additions! There was loads of wardrobe and drawer space and each room even had its own laundry basket. The double en-suites are huge but only separated from the bedroom by a huge glass sliding door so if you’re shy (!) or need total privacy from your roommate this might be a problem. 4 soft balcony chairs added since photos. The laundry room upstairs has washing machine, tumble dryer, ironing board and iron. An airer/clothes line of some sort would have been handy, but I had taken a few pegs so made do by hanging tea shirts on the parasols and over the railings etc. You’ll need to take/buy detergent etc. The kitchen had all you needed including a grill, dishwasher, microwave and huge fridge and freezer. You’ll need to take/buy dishwasher tabs and bin bags. The kettle didn’t work for us but there were Turkish water pots we used instead. We would have found a bread knife and scissors handy but we made do. The open kitchen and lounge area works very well with huge opening patio doors all the way along opening onto the pool and with amazing mountain (and bit of sea) views from inside. We couldn’t get Netflix. There is also an extra downstairs toilet/shower room not listed. Communication with the manager was excellent, very quick and informative and a minor technical fault we reported was dealt with efficiently same day. We hired a car from the airport and arranged to meet in Kalkan and then followed a scooter up the mountain. Arriving in the night, it would have been virtually impossible to have found the villa by ourselves so we were very grateful for this. The location is potentially the only issue with this villa. You will need a car and be a very confident driver as the roads as you approach the villa are steep and narrow with no side railings. My husband didn’t mind this at all as he is very confident driving so for us not a dealbreaker."

4) The property manager was very responsive when there was some miscommunication over our meet up and we became lost , he drove to meet us after locating us on a map .He and his team were also immediately on hand to supply missing ironing board and later , made some minor repairs .

6) there were table tennis, table football along with exercise bike which was a plus for us .

This beautiful property set over four floors in the foothills of the Taurus Mountains with amazing views toward Kalkan Bay is not only a Yoga/Activity Retreat, it can also be used as holiday accommodation for family/friend groups for that special occasion.

Accommodating up to 34 people among 15 rooms and 2 apartments, with a 25-metre pool and a 70-square metre studio, there is plenty of space for all to enjoy the natural setting you are in.
There is a large lounge with sofas and a dining area with 4 long tables and bench seats plus kitchen area.

The bedrooms suites are designed to accommodate six people in three bedrooms, you enter through a main door where you will find the double en-suite bedroom on your right or left, this room also has a balcony with two chairs and a small table. Continuing down the corridor, there are two further bedrooms, both of which are twin rooms and share a bathroom. All bathrooms contain a combination shower - Rainforest and Standard shower head, plus a wash basin and toilet.

In keeping with the retreat's vibe, the rooms are simple, tiled with travertine natural stone floors – cool to the foot, which is welcome during the hot summer months, modest handcrafted furnishings and small decorative touches in keeping with the setting, such as handmade ornaments sourced locally. All the bedroom furniture has been designed by ourselves and made by local craftsmen using locally grown cedarwood.

Our rooms, Yoga/Activity Studio and Pool have been designed with you in mind that you, our guests, will have a comfortable and peaceful holiday. There is a large lounge and dining area for you to relax in. Our Retreat also has various fruit trees, meditation areas, an open activity area where you can spend your time, and a large kitchen where you can prepare delicious meals.

This special place set in the foothills of the Taurus Mountains where you can hear the birds singing and the silence of being so close to nature is an ideal base to place yourselves if you want to explore Islamlar, Kalkan and the surrounding areas.
There are lots of local restaurants, you are only 16 minutes by car from Kalkan - Taxi Rank, and the coast. This incredibly beautiful area offers a compelling combination of a peaceful location with breathtaking views and the convenience of being close to Kalkan. Islamlar village provides an insight into beautiful rural Turkish life, which has remained unchanged for many years. Full of olive groves and vineyards, and where the flour for the bakery is still ground using an old water-powered millstone.

The area has several trout farm restaurants where they serve simple authentic Turkish food, bursting with flavour. All ingredients are locally grown and organic. Small waterfalls, springs and mountain streams provide constant fresh water giving natural irrigation and feeding the trout pools that supply the local restaurants. Prices are lower than at the tourist resorts and there are wonderful views down the valley to the sea. Islamlar is several degrees centigrade cooler than at sea level, and Kalkan locals and visitors use the Islamlar restaurants as respite from the warmest summer days.

There is a £40 charge for guests arriving after 8pm, unless they are being collected by our airport transfer service, this to be paid in advance of arrival at the property.
