The hosts were very responsive and checked a few times by text to make sure we had all we needed. The garden and gounds around the villa are also immaculate. The village of koutouloufari and neighbouring villages provided lots of dining choices within easy walking distance and were charming. The villa had all the utensils and dishes needed to make meals. The locationwas great not being too far from heraklion airport and was a good launching ground to explore the area. The villa is beautiful, spotless and very comfortable. Outside, the villa is surrounded by lush gardens with a children’s play area, a private saltwater pool, barbecue facilities, outdoor dining areas, and beautiful views of the sea. The private pool measures 40 sqm and is equipped with comfortable sunbeds. Private parking is also available within the property grounds. (Swimming pool open from 01/04 to 30/10)

- "We loved the property and grounds of the villa as well as its location relative to beaches, shopping, and restaurants. The air conditioning in every room was also a great feature of the home. We were a bit disappointed that certain amenities were either unavailable (motorcycles were offered to guests free of charge according to the house instructions but no such vehicles were available during our stay) or cost extra money (such as laundry). Moreover, we were surprised that the grounds would be visited daily by the groundskeeper, including entering the home. Certain smaller amenities such as access to cleaning supplies were not available or readily accommodated. Altogether, while the actual villa and grounds were nothing short of idyllic, the logistics of the stay were cumbersome especially given the cost."
