The hosts were very responsive and checked a few times by text to make sure we had all we needed. The garden and gounds around the villa are also immaculate. The village of koutouloufari and neighbouring villages provided lots of dining choices within easy walking distance and were charming. The villa had all the utensils and dishes needed to make meals. The locationwas great not being too far from heraklion airport and was a good launching ground to explore the area. The villa is beautiful, spotless and very comfortable. The view is breathtaking and i would gladly have stayed put at the villa all week. I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone to stay here."

There are restaurants close by and we used these, especially The Big Blue and Golden Dream but the taxi ride into Hersonnosis was only 10 euro and there was so many great restaurants to choose from there. We had a few queries with Vialli and they were answered quickly and efficiently every time. I would return here and would definitely recommend it for a relaxing holiday destination with a superb villa with a stunning master bedroom which has been lifted from the pages of a dream mansion."

Erondas Villa is situated at Koutouloufari village overlooking Chersonisos and the Aegean Sea. The house is organized in two levels. The upper is occupied by the hosts- at your disposal any time! The lower level is a 150sqm colorful, spacious and well equipped house with a nice yard surrounded by greenery. The pool offers countless hours of refreshment and relaxation. In general, the house is easy to access and child friendly. Chersonisos is just 10min walk and is full of bars and taverns!

The house took its name from the local herb Dittany or Dictamos or Erondas as it's called on the local dialect. The herb is used as a pain relief, especially of stomach aches and arthritis. It has been known for centuries and was used by the Minoans and ancient Greeks and Hippocrates taught its therapeutic benefits.

The house is located on a 2500sqm plot, surrounded by a garden full of flowers. At the back of the house there is a fruit, herbs and vegetable garden as well as a traditional wood oven. - "Our trip was wonderful and Vangelis the host was incredibly helpful and kind! The house was extremely close to the beach and photos do not do it justice. There is a cute village on walking distance (analipsi) and the hosts restaurant recommendations were amazing. Only shame is that the nearby hotel Stella had shows many days which you could hear from the villa. But luckily it was never longer than an hour per day so you could enjoy the free performance or head to the beach!"
