The food and booze is excellent although on the expensive side, you do get what you pay for so make sure if you don’t have all inclusive, you bring some cash. Everything else was brilliant, all of the team at the front desk and buffet breakfast should get a massive shout out. If we ever had an issue, it was sorted pretty much immediately. The hotel is situated 10 minute walk from the main town and you will find some brilliant local tavernas around there to complement your stay. Enjoy!!"

- "Wow! I only stayed one night because I’d read bad reviews saying it was noisy and full of annoying influencers. I think you pay more and get more. I was in a bungalow and it was pure bliss. Marina, my concierge, really helped me to maximise my stay and was amazing. I loved not having to fight people for sun loungers at 7am with towels. I loved how private the bungalow was. The only downside for me was I think if I stayed longer I’d come back fat, the food was amazing and all inclusive just makes you want to try things and eat lots. I’m not really a drinker, maybe one, so this was a bit of a waste for me. Gym was pretty decent but closed at 7 which is really early. Overall it was brilliant, super expensive but worth it for something special. I’ll stay longer next time I go, I think 5 nights is ideal "

We went March 25-31 and most of the restaurants and stuff around the resort were closed. Food at resort is good, but some restaurants 30 mins. away are amazing. - "Whatever you do, do NOT book a standard room or you will be very disappointed. The hotel is split into a few buildings and their standard rooms are in the old part of the hotel. We were there for the 1st night and got very upset with the overall standard of the room. It was clean, but think 1980s style of dark furniture, yellow AC unit which barely worked, crappy fridge, etc. Based on the pictures, this is not what I was expecting when I booked the room. Luckily, the lovely staff at reception were able to give us an upgrade for the 2nd night so we got moved to the nice part of the hotel: it felt like a different world! I finally understood why the hotel was rated 4-5* because the standard rooms barely scraped a 2*. Breakfast and dinner were included which was great seeing the variety of food on offer. What I definitely cannot fault is the staff working there. Every single person we came in contact with was very professional, friendly and willing to help. We will come back here but we will book a superior room from the get-go."

Barring a door key issue that was resolved easily enough everything has been perfect. The food here is really good, breakfast is buffet but high in quality. The dinner we had here the food was plentiful and again buffet. Drinks are good quality too. Another great stay this time we picked a designer room with a pool. Just brilliant. Good quality for a fair price. We will be back again. They upgraded the sun loungers to proper comfortable ones and the umbrellas are also changed. There was a big and tasty variety of foods served in the main restaurant and it was always re-filled. Only critique is that as it was kept warm it wasn't that hot. The beach area is nice, but not too big, so that the sunbeds stand quite close to each other. There are also too less sunbeds so that you really have to reserve one early in the morning, a thing I usually never do. - "A fantastic hotel all round. We booked the all inclusive option which worked well for us. We had a room with a sea view terrace. It was worth the extra cost as it had a jacuzzi, bali beds, sofa & firepit! Yoga & Pilates equipment was also provided for our private use, so early morning yoga sessions on the terrace overlooking the sea were a must! The food & drink were also very good. All dinners were al la carte & the quality was exceptional even though they were catering for large numbers. The pools were large & there were generally plenty of sunbeds to use along with waiter service from the pool bar. The beach was opposite the hotel & had comfy sunbeds, serviced also by the pool bar. The only negative if there is one was that there wasn’t really much around in the immediate vicinity. However, we did hire a car which allowed us to go further afield so we could explore a bit more of Crete. A very relaxing holiday & we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. Thank you. "
