- "What a great family resort. It’s a very large resort that did not feel over crowded. Lots of options for the family. " - "Wondeful stay in all ways" - "We stayed here for a family vacation in July. The resort is really large, featuring several pools, a beach, a water park, and multiple activities throughout the day. The resort is spacious enough that it never felt crowded, and we easily found sun beds anywhere in the hotel. We mostly spent our time at the water park, which includes nine slides for grown-ups, a lazy river, and multiple slides for kids. We also enjoyed the playground with mini golf, which stays open until late at night. The food was very good, made with high-quality ingredients, and there were several restaurants to choose from. We especially liked the Asian buffet and the BBQ restaurant, which were smaller than the main dining hall. There was even a barista serving quality coffee, though the cocktails were a bit dull and weak. The employees were kind and helpful, and the premises were kept clean and tidy at all times. Additionally, this is a good base for short excursions, such as visiting the dinosaur park or the aquarium, which are just a 10-minute drive away. - " Excellent hotel: good location - 3 min walk to the sea and 10 min walk to the center on foot distance, a little further from the noise of night bars. Good food - we had AI - food was plentiful and varied, 10-24 hours delicious cocktails and local alcoholic drinks at pool Bar and seaside Know Bar are included. There is also a sunbeds next to the Know bar, but they are over the road further from the seafront and it is very, very hot to be there. Sunbeds on the beach are paid 10-12 eur per day for 2 sunbeds and an umbrella. However, the beach is sandy and it is great to lie on the sand as anyone wants. The sea is very rocky, the rocks are huge and sharp, so swimming shoes are required. Without shoes, unfortunately, I hurt my foot badly 😪 We had spacious Suites room with large 2 balconies. Room were cleaned and towels changed daily. The air conditioner worked great. The room had 2 small fridges, 2 kettles, 2 large TVs with Netflix. Wifi worked well in the room. The car can be parked in the hotel parking, no need to book in advance. The service staff is especially pleasant and helpful. We will definitely come back. A couple of little things that Hotel could be improved - set up the belong sunbeds right on the beach and fix the unpleasant smell from the bathroom sink. "

" - "Everything was amazing: the quick and friendly check-in, the helpful staff member who escorted us to our room with the luggage, and the room with the hot tub was clean, comfortable, and perfect for large families – probably one of the best family rooms I've stayed in. Beach is only a few minutes away so location wise it worked well as there is a safe underground passage way to cross the busy national road safely. The bed was comfortable and the view was great. Room service every 2 days and the staff is friendly and helpful. We also loved their three dogs and we are dog lovers si think about this if you are not into dogs. - "We were a family group of 5 adults all over the age of 50 and stayed a week in early May. This villa provided lots of space and all the amenities we could ever desire. The hosts were very responsive and checked a few times by text to make sure we had all we needed. The garden and gounds around the villa are also immaculate. The village of koutouloufari and neighbouring villages provided lots of dining choices within easy walking distance and were charming. The villa had all the utensils and dishes needed to make meals. The locationwas great not being too far from heraklion airport and was a good launching ground to explore the area. The villa is beautiful, spotless and very comfortable. The view is breathtaking and i would gladly have stayed put at the villa all week. I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone to stay here."

Inside the rooms you will find kitchen facilities with necessary utensils provided (pots, pans, cutlery etc), lots of space and amazing sea views. We were a party of five guys and there was plenty of space in our room, which included two large balconies, its own bathroom, flat screen TV, wardrobes, drawers and more. It was all kept nice and clean by the housekeepers, who will come to change your towels every couple of days. If you have any requests, the friendly owners Katerina and Manolis will be happy to help. Overall, for the price you will pay for this hotel you really can't go wrong."

Koutouloufari is our prefered location to stay as it is a smaller town yet very culturally aged and no longer than a 10 to 15 minute walk to the beaches of Herssonisos where the NightLife is popping and the crystal clear waters are a great place to cool of during the hot days. Basic Diving in Herssonisos is especially interesting since it offers a lot of different sealife and treasures that swim through the underwater world of rocks. The Villas location has Supermarkets within a 3 minute walk. The rooms are spacious and clean and the Balconies and Patios are a great place to find peace and relaxation. - "Ariadni Palace is located in the middle of the beautiful village Koutouloufari which hosts amazing restaurants and taverns. It’s a family-owned and operated business. Service was overall very friendly exceeding expectations during lunch and dinner timeframes but admittedly not as stellar during the afternoon. Travelers should understand Ariadni rents short term apartments not hotel rooms. So be sure to either bring all your toiletries or be ready to purchase at one of the nearby markets; there’s one located next door to Ariadni. Kindly note room taxes were an additional 1.5 Euros and use of the AC is an additional 10 Euros per night. Even with the added charges room rates are rather low. The pool is small and more for wading with limited area for sunbathing. However, I greatly enjoyed sipping on a sangria, garnished with a smoked cinnamon stick, while seated at the bar next to the pool."

The interior of the upper level consist of three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The villa is located 23 km east of Heraklion international airport, 3 km from the nearest beach and from the port of Hersonissos and 2 km from the Crete Golf Club. Old Hersonissos is a picturesque, traditional and beautiful village. The main square can be reaches by 5 minutes walking. Around the square, the main necessary goods and services can be found such as traditional coffee shops, restaurants and mini-markets.
