Our room was at the ground floor and the room balcony faced swimming pool, basically the room was next to crowded swimming pool so I went to reception to ask them to change our room but amazingly I notice the receptionist can’t speak English! She called another colleague who couldn’t speak or understand much English and he promised me to change our room in 24 hours and that never happened. The hotel location is 40min drive to central Bodrum and the main harbour so you definitely need to rent a car otherwise have to pay 280 to 300 Turkish lira anytime want to go to central as there is not much to see in Gumusluk( hotel location). The hotel layout and buildings are nice but unfortunately the hotel is not well maintained. Toilet flush frame in our room was broken as well as the shower head holder, however, I asked them to repair it, but this did not happen. The room service was a disaster and we have to go to the reception anytime we wanted clean towels or toilet paper, sometimes cleaner was coming at 3 or 4 pm to clean the room which I never seen somewhere else before! - "We were the only British guests and the staff when they realised this couldn't be more helpful. We took our two teenagers aged 18 and 17 and they mixed more with the staff than other guests. The barmen and waiters work really hard for very long hours in scorching heat but still smile. Other guests were sometimes quite rude for little reason, probably due to language difficulties. Our experience was much better than expected for the price we paid, we all agree it was excellent value with the drinks and quality of food much better than we thought it would be. I would return again and hope to be a minority nationality again. The animation team worked hard for the kids but also held twice daily beach volleyball and sea and pool aerobics. The attached waterpark was a free bonus and seemed really popular along with the turkish bath and massage experience. We really enjoyed our stay."

The guy for helping during our stay was unfortunately less helpful. We often had to ask him the same question several times before we got an answer (or sometimes not). Upon my arrival my room was upgraded to a more beautiful and spacious room (without a request). The owner Feyza Hanım is a very kind, attentive and experienced host making you feel valued as a guest throughout your stay. Upon my arrival to the property I was greeted my an excellent host, Nektar Hanım, who not only restored this unique building but also runs the day to day management of it. She has upgraded my room to a very beautiful and bright room. She is joined by the cleaning lady Hacer Hanım and her husband who is responsible from security which are both very welcoming and sweet. Hacer Hanım even offered me a coffee upon my check out and it was actually the best Turkish coffee I had during my journey. I would happily stay at this property again. "
