We were contacted early enough about the taxi service for pickup and drop off to port so we could make that choice. We were well informed about the service of carrying luggage to the house as it is located far from where cars would drop off, the steps we had to take to get to the house. Our house had terrace which was private and one of the picturesque site. They arranged our tour next day for a reasonable price. The east canava guest bedroom has a double wrought iron bed that gives pillow view to the sea. Both rooms have access to a spacious living room with antique furnitures and a fully equipped kitchen. The Main canava can accommodate up to 4 guests in 2 separate bedrooms and is built between the east and west canavas.

A very spacious dining room, shed with ample natural light welcomes our guests with its large monastery style table which can comfortably sit 12 guests. The kitchen is carved in the rock and designed as a separate area with easy access to the dining hall. Two circular pits in the floor used for treading grapes during wine making have been preserved, covered with glass and are beautifully lit, adding to the special character of this place.

There are two high vaulted ceiling bedrooms in main canava, each with its own en-suite bathroom. One is especially large room carved into the volcanic rock, with a comfortable built-in queen size bed, dressing area with mirror and a large cave style bathroom with bathtub and rainfall shower.

The second bedroom has a comfortable double wrought iron bed, antique furniture, mirror and its own en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower.

A large Suite with high vaulted ceiling bedroom and living room is situated at the upper level.

The suite's living room enjoys uninterrupted panoramic views to the caldera, the volcano and the Aegean sea through its three large windows. It is located in Oia, on the cliff peak close to the Venetian castle, where everybody gathers to watch Oia’s famous sunset. Due to its unique location, Dionyssos Cave House offers unobstructed views of the caldera and the volcanoes and is only a 2 minutes walk away from Oia’s main street, where all the restaurants and shops are situated.

Dionyssos Cave House is a two-storey house that offers the ideal comfort and privacy to a party of up to 8 guests. The first level, which is the main part of the house, offers a spacious living room, a dining area and a fully equipped kitchen that also features a Nespresso coffee maker. The two bedrooms are also situated on the first level. Each bedroom offers a double bed and an en suite bathroom. The one bedroom offers two built in couches as well, that can sleep two extra guests. Twin Cave House is a recently renovated authentic cave house, partly carved in the volcanic rock face. It is located in Oia, on the cliff peak close to the Venetian castle, where everybody gathers to watch Oia’s famous sunset. Due to its unique location, Twin Cave House offers breathtaking views of the caldera and the volcanoes and is only a 2 minutes walk away from Oia’s main street, where all the restaurants and shops are situated.

The cave house consists of two adjacent rooms, each one with its own entrance, but also with an interconnecting door. The first room features a double bed, a basic kitchenette and an en-suite bathroom. The second room is more spacious and offers a fully equipped kitchen, a dining/living area and an en-suite bathroom . The room also features an open loft with a double bed. Furthermore, the couch can be prepared as a single bed in order to sleep a fifth guest. Both rooms' doors lead onto the house's idyllic terrace that overlooks the endless blue of the dazzling caldera. Twin Cave House can comfortably host two couples, while offering them privacy, but is also ideal for families, or groups of friends.

The village of Oia is a traditional settlement and it is entirely pedestrian. The village offers a great variety of restaurants, shops, mini markets etc. Within the village, everything is in walking distance. You can explore the rest of the island either by car, bus, taxis or organised tours. There are public parking areas at the entrance of the village, but take into consideration that during high season parking can be challenging.

Featuring a terrace with Caldera Sea views, this white washed cave house features a Cycladic architecture and comes with a wrought iron double bed, 2 traditional style built in twin beds, a long traditional sofa bed, rocking armchair, sun beds, a satellite, flat screen TV and a fully equipped kitchenette. There is one master bedroom with a double bed with a canopy.

Our top-mattresses are made of combinations of natural rubber, seaweed, goose down, virgin wool, pure cotton and eucalyptus. 4) Private hot tub for 3 persons (up to 37 Celsius) under a purple & white bougainvillea tree is available about 4 minutes walking distance (120 meters) during Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. Please, feel free to help yourself to the cold drinks that are in the fridge, just opposite the hot tub.

We came in on the ferry and our ride was waiting for us. We were met in Oia by Daniel who was awesome and welcoming. The house itself was even better than the pictures. We had a very early departure and Daniel was there to take our luggage up to the cab with a smile on his face. One of us had a very heavy bag, and added to the other two it couldn’t have been easy for him, but he did it with a smile. The house is in a great location, with beautiful views. One complaint I will make is with the description of the house. It talks about the sunset view which is amazing, but what it fails to mention is the Sunrise view. Watching the sun come up over the Caldera was one of the highlights of my trip. We were there the first week in March, and it was amazing! Centrally located to great restaurants, and shops.
