There’s no signage anywhere outside as to where the suite is and how to get in, so if you turn up late then good luck as all the phone numbers are for office hours. A couple of days before Vanessa had reached out to confirm us landing and if we wanted a car to pick us up which we said yes please. We passed on our flight details incase there were delays, ended up being just over an hour late for us. Nobody was there to pick us up and we couldn’t get through to anybody . We ended up getting a taxi to the location but because there was no signage we couldn’t find it. We found a phone number from one of the earlier emails and got though to somebody on the mainland, his number shouldn’t have been on there but he called somebody else and eventually we got a contact for Thomas on the island who turned up to let us in. We could easily have had to book another place for the first night if we hadn’t have been able to find somebody. We got no call or email from Vanessa checking in or apologizing for the mix up after i left a message that night either. They need a better system for incoming tourists"

Because it is a cave, it can be a bit damp and cold at times but they have a dehumidifier and heaters to ensure comfort. The walk down and back up is challenging, 200 steps each way, but the porter makes it a breeze for luggage. Beautiful setting overlooking the caldera, very nice suite, AC worked great, whirlpool was great, housekeeping restocked coffee, sugar and cream each day. Breakfast delivered each morning before 9:00. Mary, the local host was extremely helpful with ideas for things to do, rental car and any reservations for excursions. She was very prompt with answering questions and met us when we first arrived. Overall, spectacular 10 day visit. No complaints. Everything as advertised. Be advised that if you have physical limitations the number of steps down and up from the suite to the main walkway of Oia could be challenging for some."

Our house is a very old typical cave house ,cave houses are digged in the lava of the volcano and are at the edge of the cliff.
It is in the oldest neighborhood of Oia next to the castle the best spot to watch the sunset We are in the centre of all the activities shops restaurants s.markets of the busiest pedestrian road, at the same time going 35 steps down our guests drop in another century finding in our veranda the absolute calmness of a Greek island.

Three separated houses with a shared veranda along however with discreet privacy as it is designed with a lot of respect to privacy matters.

Enjoy some drinks at night in the most peaceful neighbourhood of Oia Sadorini. When the moon comes out this terrace is the best place to be and later on the stars seem like a dome above your head.
We have tried to keep the tradition of the cave houses and interfere as less as possible with the natural form so there is no separation of rooms in order to get advantage of the light in the whole house. The architecture is cleverly done preventing the privacy in each room.
