- "2nd time staying at the Galaxy Villas and we loved it. First time we were in a villa toward the very back of the complex and this time we were in a villa which still had a sea view but was closer to the pool. The staff here are brilliant. So friendly and welcoming, any time of day. Always want to make sure you're comfortable and happy which is fantastic. Pool area is great, there's loads of sunbeds and when the sun is out, all areas where the loungers are get sun right through to sunset. We included breakfast in our stay and would do it again. The greek yoghurt, honey and sour cherries in syrup were so so good. Location is amazing. You're in Koutouloufari and there's so many lovely restaurants all within a 5/10 min walk of the hotel. Plenty of bars too including a good sports bar right next door that shows all major events. About a 15 min walk from the beach which is lovely! Only slight negative was around the cleanliness of the room itself. Drainage in the shower and bathroom sink were bad and got worse as the week went on. Don't think housekeeping actually cleaned at all either. They folded bedding, replaced towels and emptied bins, but when youve got stone floors they need hoovering too. We did also spend about 30 mins chasing a cockroach out the door one night! But the villa was big and spacious, plenty of room to hang out in, just a couple of small bits to focus on ahead of guests staying in the future. Highly recommend anyone to stay here though, we loved it! "

The house is a 50 m2 apartment at the ground floor of three row houses and has a big terrace for enjoying your morning or afternoon drink, as well as a private parking place for your car. A highlight of our stay was the Monday night festival in old hersonissos, a 30 minute walk from the apartment. It is a lively festive area with live music, dancing and many wonderful restaurants. A must- do restaurant is also Steki which is a 10 minute walk from the apartment. The proprietor George is charming, the hostess is endearing and the food is delightful, explaining our return for a second dinner. The rooftop restaurantants are also charming. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed the accommodations, restaurants and beaches of the area of Crete that we were able to explore. Would highly consider a repeat of this vacation."

LOCATION:

The Galaxy Villas is located in Crete, in the traditional and quaint village of Koutouloufari. The Hotel is within easy access of the Heraklion International Airport (N. Kazantzakis – 25 km) and the Port of Heraklion (25 km) and a short walk from downtown Hersonissos with its gorgeous beaches (0.6 km). Crete Golf Club is only 5km away.
There are several shops and restaurants in Koutouloufari. Archaeological sights in the area include the Minoan Palace of Malia and the Byzantine Fountain of Hersonissos. Sights in the City of Heraklion including the world famous Heraklion Archaeological Museum and the ancient Minoan Palace of Knossos are a short drive from the Galaxy Villas.

Our home is located between the center of the famous summer resort, Chersonissos, and the scenic traditional village, Koutouloufari, where our guests can find beautiful beaches, as well as interesting local activities. Moreover, our home can guarantee your relaxation, one of the most important aspects of any holiday. Chersonissos center can be reached easily by a 10 minutes’ walk. So that means that you have quick access to all the essential amenities as supermarkets, groceries shops, bakery, coffee shops, ATMs, pharmacy etc. However, the location of the house (a little outside of the center) can secure the essential conditions for privacy and relaxation.
The house is a 50 m2 apartment at the ground floor of three row houses and has a big terrace for enjoying your morning or afternoon drink, as well as a private parking place for your car. The apartment has a big room in the entrance, where you will find the living room with a big sofa that can be transformed to a double bed, the fully-equipped kitchen, the modern dining place with 4 seats and a 50 inch television with cable TV . Moreover, there is a bedroom with a double bed, a big wardrobe and one more television and the bathroom, in which you will find a big bathtub and a washing machine. The house is also equipped with two coffee machines (both filter and espresso), microwave, toaster and a hair-dryer.
