The service was very excellent overall, friendly, welcoming and accommodating. The lobby is dated and would truly benefit from a contemporary refresh, first impressions are important. There are very nice water sport offerings for an extra charge but reasonable. The gym is very nice there are a few, and you have quite a few pools to chose from. The location is paradise with sweeping views of the see and mountains. Upgrading your room is well worth it. Highly recommend for a relaxing time in Eastern Crete. A taxi into town Agios Nikolaus is 15 euros and 15 minutes. The town is very charming with plenty to do, shopping, dinning and bars. "

Yes, there are things to have a wee moan about if you want to (the All Inclusive is not totally all inclusive, which can be a bit tedious, the pool area is very small for the size of the hotel, but there is ample area down by the beach and seafront - we are late risers so not too fazed by it - a tip if you are, is to book a swim-up room). This listing is for our studio called 'ARTEMIS' - recently renovated twin or double room on the ground floor. Twin beds (which can be made into a double) with anatomic and orthopaedic mattresses for a super comfy and relaxing stay.

Easy access if you don't like stairs, outdoor chairs and table under our lemon tree on a beautiful secluded private patio.

The room is designed in a modern but still Mediterranean style with air conditioning, TV, kitchenette with basic facilities like hob, fridge. A place to hang your clothes, safe to lock your valuables.
