- "Staff was very friendly, cordial. We arrived early and they made every effort to have our room ready as soon as possible without even asking. They greeted us with a glass of cold tea which was very good and much needed because we were thirsty from walking from the pier to the hotel. They also let us know that the breakfast time had already finished but since the following day we were leaving early to take the ferry they could offer us the included breakfast on the day of our arrival, so we had a wonderful and homey breakfast with eggs, ham, cheese, coffee, fresh fruit, yogurt and it was heaven because we had just come by ferry and hadn't had time to have breakfast. They had water, coffee and tea at the lobby all day. We could walk to the main pier and shopping and dining areas easily, safely and comfortably."

- "When I arrived, there was no one to check me in. I had to call someone. The manager arrived 30 minutes later. The room itself was OK, comfortable enough and clean, and my bed was made every day. The location is good. Easy walking distance to anywhere. The hot water was not automatic and I had to request it be turned on. The shower was average, at best. Breakfast was good; continental style. Security was fine. I would possibly stay there again, but it's good to have low expectations."

The hotel A/C and Wi-Fi worked well, and I had a comfortable night here. There is a motion sensor hall light that shines into the room through the top windows and some noise as they walk by. It gets quiet after 10:00 so not too much of an inconvenience. Staff helped me with bus arrangements. There is an upstairs lounge area that overlooks the street and would be a nice spot to visit with friends. "

" - "There was no office to check in. Thankfully we meet a nice local who knew the woman who ran the hostel, he was able to call her to give us our key. We meet another couple travelers who had the same problem checking in. Other than that it was a great stay. There was a fridge and hot plate in the room we used to cook breakfast on with their dishes. It was a block away from a street that closes down every night to host all the local food. It was a little loud but every place is doing to be loud in the middle of town. They came in and cleaned every day too."

- "The lady was nice and accommodating. The property is pay-upon-arrival. So bring cash! Walking from the port to the property is an easy 30min walk. The roads are dirt roads, so walking with heavy luggage isn’t ideal. Just pay a taxi to drive you if you don’t want to walk. Many lacked the social aspect, but here the owners have a lovely beach bar across the road where they hosted events (game nights, trivia, etc) which was great to meet other travellers. Only 1 item I disliked - 2 of the windows in my room were just screens at the top and couldn't be closed, so you could hear all the noise from people and cars going by. Still highly recommend! "
