There is no shortage of things to take in around the property, such as cafes, shopping, movie theatres and restaurants. Perfectly situated if you are looking to study at Deakin or perhaps on a short work contract with Epworth Hospital. The communal living aspect of the property allows you to connect with other travellers and make long lasting friendships especially for those travelling solo. The common areas are cleaned regularly and if you are staying for longer than a week we can arrange to have your room cleaned and linen changed over on request for a small fee.

WALK THROUGH THE HOME WITH US
Come through the rose bush archways of the front garden and into the front door of the home. To the left are the private rooms and wet areas, and to the right are the common areas.
Enter the Lounge room to the right, which has a large Smart TV and two plush grey couches. This room flows through to the dining area, where six guests can enjoy a meal on the dining table and breakfast bar. The Kitchen is filled with quality appliances, from the double-door Fridge, Gas Stove, and Oven to the smaller, Air fryer, Microwave, Toaster, and so on.
The laundry is accessible via the Kitchen or Hallway and leads out to the rear courtyard; you can also catch some fresh air on the Patio outside the lounge.
Continuing up the Hallway, finishing off the common areas, there is the Main bathroom, which is small but neat. It consists of a shower, vanity, and a separate toilet.
The three bedrooms line the hallway, each with its own digital lock for privacy. Each room offers a Queen bed fit with quality linen and bath towels, bedside tables with lamps, a Smart TV, a large Built-in Wardrobe, and an Air conditioner.
The Neighbourhood
The home is located at the end of Gairloch Gr in the city-adjacent suburb of Newtown, just across from Fyan’s Park. Enjoy a stroll down the Barwon River via the Rotary Walk, which will take you to Balyang Sanctuary.
Grab a bit to eat at Barwon Edge, a 15-minute walk down the road. A 5-minute drive in either direction, you can head to Pakington Street, where there are many delicious Cafés to choose from and Shopping at Boutiques. Or head down to the relaxed Highton village where there are even more Restaurants and fresh produce at Harvey’s.
Getting Around
With a bus stop a minute’s walk around the corner where you can catch Route 24 (Geelong Station - North Geelong Station via Newtown), Geelong CBD is easily accessible via an 18-minute bus ride or 10-minute drive. There are also Ubers and Taxi’s readily available in the area. Free Parking is available for those with a car, inside the carport or on the street.
