Stayed in 4 X doorm and it was very spacious. Some lights not working when reporting to the staff they weren't too bothered, the issue was not rectified during my stay - 3 nights. Lively bar, from what I have been told, as I have not visited. Staff was hit and miss once happy and friendly once moody.(Same people) They will do however help with booking a trip or transportation. Staff are friendly and helpful, and they do a good job maintaining the property. The bathroom situation is in the hallways where the doors to the dorms are, so it's a bit awkward and limited privacy. Further, the tour agencies are spread nearby on the streets that makes it easy to plan your tours to travel around. Its a party hostel so if you are fine with that environment its a place for you! - "Kind of a premium single person capsule for the price of a dorm bed, with a lockable door, a mattress, and enough space for luggage, as well as a small shelf with a power outlet, a main light and a reading light. AC is only on between 17:00 and 9:00 so it gets really hot during the day, and the hostel common areas are all in the open as well, so there's no place to escape from the heat, but it's not a problem if you spend the day exploring. In my room the AC was quite noisy and distracting, I'm not sure it's the same for all rooms. It was also not very strong so it was still a bit hot in the room during the night. The wifi was quite poor and slow. Everything seems to be kept very clean, including the shared bathrooms and showers, which are gender separated. The receptionist was super friendly and eager to help with any of my questions. Location is great, very central and easy to get to with public transportation. Motorbike rental is also available at the property for a reasonable price."

How To Find Us
From Krabi Airport: Airport shuttle costs 150 baht per person and will drop you off right outside our door. Alternatively, taxis can be arrange thru us for 600-700 THB. The distance between Ao Nang and Krabi Airport is 26km.

From Krabi Town bus station: Local song taew buses can be caught outside the coach terminal which will take you to Ao Nang and cost around 100 baht per person. The trip takes around 45 minutes and is 17km.

From Railay: Longtail boats can be caught from West beach that go straight to Ao Nang beach for 100 baht. Once at the beach, you can walk straight up to the hostel (pass the police station). The hostel is on the right opposite the mosque and takes around 10 - 15 minutes to walk there.

From Phi Phi passenger pier in Ao Nang: It usually includes a free transfer to the hostel, please contact your ticket company.

From Phi Phi passenger port in Krabi Town: The transfer is usually 100THB. However, if you tell the ticket staff in Phi Phi that you want to be dropped off at Ao Nang, free transfer will be provide.

There is a fridge, cooker, oven, microwave, washing machine and utensils for all your cooking needs. Air conditioner, Television and essentials are all provided! Unlimited access to wifi. CCTV is operated in the common space and entrance.

The shared space are including Kitchen located on the first/second floor, common room on the first floor and bathroom on every floor. The lavatory is located only on the first and third floor.

The space
Our huts are replacing our old hostel. (Maybe we will build a new hostel on the neighboring lands). They are double huts, where you book one of the rooms in the hut. These huts adds more privacy, and fewer people sharing bath rooms. 2 huts have own bath room.
Because of this we have fewer rooms this season. If you can not find free dates yourself then contact us because there are often free rooms available 1 or 2 days in between gusts. Or if you don't mind to stay in our tents you can use that temporary option.

There are 4 huts/8 rooms which are built around a small "square" that you then share with the other "hutters", which is a good opportunity to meet other guests.
This hut, C2, has double bed and 2 shared baths (separate men/women) right outside the hut, which you share with the 5 other "hutters" that do not have inside bathroom.

The hut comes with breakfast for everybody in the room.

NB! This hut has now a double bed - the image shows single bed because we have not got new image yet.

The image gallery shows images of the hut. There are also some images from the beach bar. A few images are from the old hostel, but we will make something similar...new images will come soon. We are rebuilding the area.

Please note that Mr. Long is never "finished" but is ever changing. New things or buildings might be there when you come. Or things might have been moved around compared with images.

1000 Mbps internet in the hut makes you able to work online, and this hut is well suited for long term stays, where you work online maybe, and need a safe, quiet and cheap place!

Other things to note
Vegetarian food is available on request, home cooked by Mr. Long's wife. Try also Mr. Long's famous home brewed Tequila, made from a 100 years old family recipe!

We can arrange both tattoo and massage.

You can book tours directly with Mr. Long, instead of shopping around all of Ao Nang. We have agreements with a lot of the tour agencies, and that means you can both book and be picked up directly at your hut at no extra costs.
You can book everything you need - elephant trekking, rafting, rock climbing and island sailing tours.

Mr. Long is licensed to perform Thai weddings for both Thais and foreigners.
