The mattress was hard like wood, I couldn't do more than 1 night, but I would book again if passing by. You can meet some weird male types anywhere in Pattaya, including the hostel, but I didn't engage in a conversation and they didn't bother me further. As a solo female I felt safe there with reception being right next door, and the entrance being on a busy road. "
