- "The location is close to most beauty places in quito." - "Duration: 5 nights (Sun-Fri) Travelers: 1 Located at the Plaza Foch, access to restaurants and nightlife was a one street away. Also, most all tours have a pickup point here at Plaza Foch making it very convenient. I highly recommend knowing Spanish or know how to use a translator really well. The entire staff speaks only Spanish with very few English words. Glad I knew survival Spanish to get me around. lol. Overall the staff is great, friendly, and very patient with me as I sometimes had to open Google translate for the "big" words. A+ I reserved a single room w/ private bath versus the Hostel shared BRs. My room was in the back downstairs. It had had 3 single beds. OMG, the comforter was crazy thick and warm. There was a 32 LCD TV w/ DirectTV (Spanish only ch), large closets. Yes the entire property is old so expect aged furnishing. But decent for the price. The bathroom was fully functional. Though there was mold building up on the ceiling (they had this odd popcorn style texture). Nonetheless the it was clean, shower water pressure was good and decently hot. No toiletries, but a store is right next door. Cheap too. I would stay again if there. Location and great people."

- "This is a great hostel in Quito. The rooms were spacious, and kept very clean. While the bathroom is slightly small for my taste, the shower was roomy and i had a place to put all my stuff. The bed and pillows were great. The desk was the only thing i did not like too much: it was too high and the chair was a curule-style one, definitely not comfortable to use as a desk chair. Wifi is fast, but not everywhere. There were spots in my room that had poor signal. Living room downstairs is ok, but wifi there is very fast. Breakfast is served in a nice, clean room. A bit small for my appetite, but it's great to get fresh fruit and juice. The staff is friendly and helpful. I liked a lot that there's laundry service available at a reasonable price. One other thing i found awesome is the closeness to the Alameda metro station, and some dining options like Pollo Campero or the Frutería Monserrate (what a great place to eat!). While the neighborhood was safe during my stay, i would not recommend going out for a walk after dark."

We have 12 rooms to share with our guests, from rooms with 1 matrimonial bed to 1 matrimonial+2 twin beds, all of our rooms with private bathroom (toilet and shower). Abundant hot water 24 hours! We recently renovated this antique house to make it comfortable in every possible way! We have common areas, as well as a smoking area. We have WiFi, cable TV, a guest kitchen, mini bar, laundry service (US$ 1,50 per kilo wash and dry), an outdoors patio with nice tables, and although we do not have any grass, we have many plants all around the house!
